Well AO3 is still down and I just finished Are You Ready? and I needed to tell you immediately that, omg, that was so ridiculously well done!
The action scenes were absolutely brilliant chaos, the suspense was sheer perfection, and, I know I say this all the time but, your BAMF!Stiles is *chef kiss* amazing.
😭😭😭💛💛💛💛💛💛 aaaaahhhhhh thank youuu so much. I know I say this all the time but I love writing BAMF!Stiles and action. I also just still really love AYR, I'm SO FREAKING PROUD of that fic and every time someone else enjoys it, I just want to scream with joy and also cry a little. I'm so glad you enjoyed it & all my silly little AUs hehehehe

Scottish magician John Ramsay died 19th January 1962
Ramsay, was born in Ayr’s Bogha’ Row (now Victoria Street) and began his working life as a grocers boy, earning just 3 shillings a week.
As he progressed through the ranks of shop assistant and manager to eventually own the George Street business, he also developed interests in running and draughts: he once held world champion Richard Jordan to a draw. But it was talents in the conjuring field which went on to earn him the name of Scotland’s grand old man of magic.
Showing an early interest in conjuring from the age of seven, he was encouraged by his family and spent much of his pocket money on tricks and penny puzzles. He went on to enthral customers at his shop - and audiences the world over - with his sleight of hand and ready patter.
As his abilities grew, he became associated with the London Magic Circle and the Inner Magic Circle, going on to win the British Ring Shield when it was presented for the first time at the International Brotherhood Convention in 1939.
Ramsay performed at the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) convention in Batavia, New York and Chicago, in 1950. In 1955, he won the micromagic category at the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM), held in Amsterdam. He also served as president of the British Ring of the IBM.
In 1960, he was honoured in a special dinner by the Scottish Conjurors Association, of whom he was a life member and honorary president for many years.
Seven months before his death, the Scottish Association of Magical Societies met in Ayr and presented John Ramsay with a bound volume containing messages and tributes from magicians all over the world.
John Ramsay is the only magician in the world with a garden named after him; Ramsay Gardens, in his native town of Ayr.

A walk around the town of Ayr, Scotland
On the shores of the Firth of Clyde Bay in the south west of Scotland and in the Irish Sea lies the quiet cosy town of Ayr. Formerly a royal town, it is now the administrative centre of South Ayrshire Council. Its picturesque streets with their many cafes and shops attract thousands of tourists who want to enjoy the space and architecture of old Scotland and learn fascinating historical facts about events of the past.
The town of Ayr dates back to 1197 when King William the Lion ordered a new castle to be built between the rivers Ayr and Doon. King William the Lion recognised Ayr as a royal trading town in 1205 and, twenty years later, the once small settlement consisting of one street and St John's Church became a main seaport, market and administrative centre in Ayrshire.
Ayr was raided by the Norwegians several times during its existence, captured by the English in the 13th century and was soon recaptured by Robert the Bruce's forces. It became the most important town in south-west Scotland in the Middle Ages. Salt and wine were imported and fish, wool and animal skins were exported through its port.
From the 18th century Ayr developed into an industrial centre with coal mining, a sugar factory and several other light industrial enterprises. After the opening of a railway in 1839, the town attracted a stream of tourists who wanted to get to the luxurious beach of Ayr and stroll along its cosy streets.
Today, Ayr continues to attract visitors not only from all over Scotland, but also from other countries who come here to watch international air shows and traditional Scottish steeplechase races.
