Advance Agarbatti drying System
Drying incense sticks during heavy rain poses significant challenges due to the increased humidity and limited sunlight. The traditional drying methods may become inefficient, leading to longer drying times and potential quality issues, bending after drying, mould growth due to improper drying. Here are some common problems faced and potential solutions:
Challenges:
Extended Drying Time:
Heavy rain and high humidity levels can prolong the drying process, impacting production timelines.
 Quality Compromise:
Prolonged drying may lead to quality issues such as mold growth, uneven drying, and a decrease in the fragrance potency of incense sticks.
Energy Costs:
Increased drying time may raise costs, especially if relying on traditional drying method.
Investment:
Large open space or area required for sunlight drying or traditional drying method due to which you need to spend more on larger square area.
Absence of Sunlight:
Irregular weather conditions are now normal these days, we experience rain during winter and summer sometimes, there is sometimes absence of sunlight in peak summer. Your commodity gets affected if they do not get proper drying during these times.
Temporary shutdown:
During rainy season and foggy season your production drying gets shut down due to no proper production being done plus do sun drying is experienced.
Affected Sales cycle:
All these above factors leads to affected sales cycle which gives you lower return rates and inadequate supply of the products.
Solutions:
Mechanical Drying Systems:
Explore mechanical drying systems, such as Agarbatti Heat Dryer. These can accelerate the drying process and maintain consistent conditions regardless of external weather.
Covered Drying Areas:
Create covered drying areas using temporary shelters or greenhouses. This provides protection from rain while allowing sufficient airflow for drying.
Adjustable Drying Parameters:
If using mechanical drying systems, adjust parameters like temperature and airflow based on the prevailing weather conditions to optimize the drying process.
Pre-Drying:
Consider pre-drying the incense sticks indoors before moving them to the final drying area. This reduces exposure to the external environment, minimizing the impact of rain.
 Monitoring Humidity Levels:
Implement humidity monitoring systems to track environmental conditions. This enables timely adjustments to the drying process as needed.
 Shifted Production Schedules:
Plan production schedules to align with favourable weather conditions. This reduces the reliance on artificial drying and utilizes natural sunlight when available.
 Quality Control Measures:
Implement stringent quality control measures to detect and address any quality issues arising from extended drying periods promptly.
Indoor Drying Facilities:
Consider investing in indoor drying facilities with proper ventilation. This provides a controlled environment, shielding the incense sticks from rain and humidity.
Incorporating a combination of these solutions based on your specific circumstances can help overcome the challenges associated with drying incense sticks during heavy rain. Adaptability and a proactive approach to managing drying conditions are key to maintaining product quality and meeting production timelines.

Make Money With Flowers | Vermicompost,Agarbatti business model
Daily more than tons of flowers are offered in temples. Mostly these flowers are dumped after the puja. Flowers are even dumped into the rivers due to which the water is getting polluted. To curb this issue Mr. Rajiv Bansal came up with a great initiative to recycle the flowers used in temples and convert them into incense sticks. He is the founder of Recycle Aastha, the company which produces incense sticks (Aggarbatti) by recycling the flowers from temples around India. They have been working since 2018 in this recycling project. Along with helping nature by reducing pollution, the company is also providing employment to uneducated poor women.
The tag line of the company is “Tera Tujhko Arpan”. They have a vision of expanding their business to reach out to more temples around India also start making other possible items rather than just an Incense stick.
Process of making incense sticks out of flowers
The work starts by importing flowers from the temples. Women working in the factory segregates the petals of the flowers. Like these, they isolate all of them from the heap. After that, the petals are dried and Solar Dryer is used to getting rid of moisture present in the flowers and also to detox them to remove any kind of unnecessary chemical.
Tumblr media
When the petals are completely dried they are converted into powder form using a machine. The powder can be now used for making incense sticks. Incense sticks are prepared by hand. Hence, finally, the recycled incense sticks are ready. They are sent to the dealers and vendors to be sold.
In the stock of flowers, many flowers can’t be used for making the incense sticks. So, they are sent to another factory where they turned into vermicompost.
Watch the complete video where we have provided the complete tour of both the factories and also interviewed Mr. Rajiv Bansal. In the video, you will also get information about how you can get the dealership to Recycle Aastha.

Maize Seed Dryer - Steamtech Engineers.
Maize drying Plant plays a very important role in the Warehousing, Stock, Oil Mills, Maize starch Plant, Poultry feed manufacturing plant, Cattle feed Manufacturing plant, and other Maize related industries for drying of Maize.
There are mainly two methods are used for maize drying. (1) sun drying  (2) Machine drying
While maize dries using conventional method i.e. sun drying is very much time consuming (5-6 days), space consuming and weather dependent (need sunlight). Possibilities of insect growth, fungi (mould) growth is faster in sun drying process because of more days (time). And germination rate is also high in conventional drying method.
The Maize is dried and cleaned in a continuous process dryer without denaturalizing its properties.
Capacity
50 Ton to 300 Ton per day
Operating Principle
The machine operates as a convective drying system. The Maize is dried and cleaned by providing a continuous flow of hot air with a certain temperature, a specific velocity, and a retention time by passing it over a thin air permeable belt through hot air distribution slits. The temperature, feeder and retention time can be controlled using an electrical control panel board. The operation is continuous and the drying is done efficiently by passing the air through the bed thickness.
 Benefits:
·         Manual Platform Drying is not required hence manpower & time is saved.
·         Maize can be dried in moist weather when natural sun drying cannot be done properly.
·         Warehousing, Oil mills & Starch Industries can be operated in early season period & rainy season period as well.
·         Oil recovery & production can be increased as compared to over-moist Maize expelling.
·         Better quality and color of cake as compared to over-moist maize crushing.
·         Online expelling in oil mills from germ processing plant is possible, hence labor for bagging, stacking, re-feeding is saved.
·         Smooth management of oil mill
·         Suitable Moisture level for the warehousing, storage can be maintained.
