Still thinking about agnesjack and one of my favorite personal headcanons is that, with a strong enough show of devotion to their entities, avatars can essentially get "permission" to do something that their natures would usually deny them.

So with that in mind, I've been thinking about Agnes actually going out hunting instead of depending on her torture candles for food. Commiting carefully planned acts of arson to feed on the fear and horror, offering up those acts to the Desolation in hopes of finally getting something she desperately wants as a reward.

All so that she can touch Jack, press her hand against his face without burning him, finally kiss him without destroying him.

She's still uncomfortably warm to him but for once, her very existence isn't a danger to the only person she's ever truly loved.
