Let me just say... I CAN’T WAIT FOR HIM TO FIGHT!!

I didn’t know much about him before this series, but I did some research, and he sounds like such an interesting person!

The gunshot wound to his face actually destroyed most of his upper left jaw and a good portion of his lower jaw, so I’m hoping they do this scar justice and not just have it as a facial blemish type of scar. 

When he retired he got a farm, hunted moose, and bred doggies!

Which I need to touch on as his official art has a dog with him. I swear to everything holy, chocolate, and life itself, if the dog fights alongside him and something happens to the dog, I will be inconsolable for at least two days. 

I swear, writers Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, and illustrator Ajichika, will be catching some hands if something happens to the dog.

I hope that when he fights, he survives, as he deserves it! He received death threats after his time in the war, for doing what he was ORDERED TO DO!! He said he didn’t really care, as he mentioned, in an interview, that if he didn’t do what he was told, there would be no Finland. And he preferred to not talk about his time in the war afterwards and didn’t like being in the spotlight.

Part of me hopes he will fight soon, but the other part of me wants to save him for later!

The Japanese manga series Record of Ragnarok, also known as Shmatsu no Warukyre or "Doomsday Valkyrie," was created by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and was illustrated by Ajichika. It started in the seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Zenon from Coamix, which was once also distributed by Tokuma Shoten, in November 2017. Throughout June 2021, Viz Media granted a license to use it in North America. The original net animation (ONA) version of the manga was created by Graphinica and debuted on Netflix in June 2021. In January 2023, Graphinica and Yumeta Company will debut their second season.

The plot starts when the gods have a meeting to determine whether to allow humanity to exist or die, and they opt to eradicate it.
