interesting that alecto was never much for lying but she sure was quick on the draw to have harrow lie to mercy about her age

has anyone in this fandom ever acknowledged the fact that harrow believes with 1000000% certainty that she was able to unlock the tomb because she's a Super Special Magical Girl (she is, not the point) and has no idea that it's only because she had gideon's blood/skin under her nails when she opened it

like what the fuck is learning this going to do to her chopped up little brain. it's going to destroy her. it's going to completely ruin her sense of self. the only reason she kept LIVING was because she was able to open the tomb and look upon the girl inside it. and to learn that it's NOT because she's The Necromancer Divine, that it's actually her life-long feud with gideon that allowed it to happen? that gideon is the biological child of the Emperor Undying? never mind all the other information we learn at the end of HtN while harrow is fighting gideon's bio mother in the river (she also doesn't even know that wake gave birth to gideon lol)

anyway I think harrow is going to feel very normal about all of this (she's absolutely not)

Look I'm scared as fuck about the TLT marriage and all the theories, so maybe this is me trying to deny the worse possibilities. But I don't think people are talking enough about "one flesh, one end"

There are a lot of things that gives me hope that maybe, JUST MAYBE, there's hope for Gideon and Harrow (although if the marriage really is theirs I doubt it'll be a happy thing). How Gideon, in the beggining of the book on the meeting Harrow talks about the logistics of Gideon being her cavalier (or something like that) and Gideon describes her as wearing a veil that ressembles of a wife. Or Gideon saving for later the joke Magnus makes about being married to his necromancer.

But more importantly I think is "one flesh, one end". We all know TLT is full of religious symbolism, and I need to point out how married people are refered, in the bible, as "one flesh", and Gideon DID make the cavalier oath. Just a quick search on google and I find this

And I think that could be a case (but it kinda scares me that this explanation is only about one flesh, which leaves the "one end". We will never be happy)
