I really love how on a Monday, Disney will blame a 2-second animated kiss between two women for ruining a movie and placate the homophobes, but then turn around on Wednesday and drop the queerest two epsiodes of a show starring an intergenerational bevy of women over the age of 40, Broadway royalty, some queer icons, queer actors, along with a teen twink, and then will still be like: no homo.

Anyway, Agatha All Along is going to be a hoot. And Disney+ will remain a gift and a curse.

🔮IMPORTANT: for those as confused as me because i thought for all this time that it was official: joe locke is NOT playing wiccan aka billy kaplan | maximoff) he's playing a new character called teen, a familiar character like a human salem from sabrina the teenage witch, i guess. i cannot say that i'm not disappointed as i thought joe locke was playing one of my favourite comic book characters but i understand that the scarlet witch's story is over in the mcu. i'm sorry to all fans like myself who hoped he was, it's a shame this wasn't cleared up a few months ago 😔🔮

i am not really as much of a marvel media enjoyer anymore but my favourite comic book character of all time & favourite part of marvel is the scarlet witch & the fact that she is sadly dead & gone (after a questionable storyline don't get me started) is why my interest is gone BUT my love for the scarlet witch also extends to polaris, magneto (& prof x ✨cherik✨), quicksilver, wiccan, speed & ESPECIALLY AGATHA HARKNESS so even though i will be crying my eyes out everytime it's confirmed that wanda is gone, i am here for agatha because her & wanda's stories are what got me into comics, they were my first comic book characters & i honestly love witches & horror, it's my favourite genre so i genuinely can't wait for agatha. even though neither castings were what i expected, getting to see the characters from the scarlet witch stories that began my comic book journey when i was 13 come to life means so much to me.

Agatha All Along Episodes 1 & 2 thoughts

I thought the fake crime show bit went on too long in the first episode, even though it was nice to see our WandaVision pals. I kind of want a whole show of them humoring "Agnes" while she thinks she's in various TV shows.

Thought things picked up more in episode 2 when the other witches were introduced. Sasheer and Patti's characters seemed to arrive fully formed. Happy Sharon (Debra Jo Rupp) is coming--though I knew that from the press tour. She's just fun. And her singing the song while fleeing in terror from the Salem Seven is a mood.

Worried she will die because Rio is really the green witch of the coven. (and by that logic, if "teen" is indeed billy then he could take alice's place as the "blood witch"' since he got his powers from mama.)

I think that's it so far. Fun but not mind blowing. Yay witches.

Agatha All Along "Road of Agatha" Featurette

The cast and crew talk about the character of Agatha Harkness as well as the practical effects of the series.

A teen breaks Agatha out of her spell and encourages her to face the Witches' Road trials with him. The Witches' Road will reward a witch with whatever they are missing should they survive. The two put together a coven and set off down the road.
