One fun thing to watch for is reappearing actors. Much of the production team for Leverage continued to work on the Librarians, and since they found several actors they clearly enjoyed, there are a whole host of people who starred in both shows.
Richard Cox appears in the Leverage episode “The Homecoming Job” (Season 1, Episode 2) as Charles Dufort, the CEO of an unscrupulous defense contractor group called Castleman Security. He is involved with a dirty politician,  Congressman Jenkins, in order to steal 9 billion dollars of reconstruction money that the US sent to Iraq. (True story)
Charles Dufort: You know the great thing about Congressmen? 50, 100 grand well spent will get one elected. But then, once they're in, the incumbency rate is over 95%! So you can get on an average 18, 20 years use out of one of them. In these uncertain times, buying a United States Congressman is one of the best investments a corporation can make!
Alec Hardison: [listening in on surveillance] Oh, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I'm a professional criminal and I find that disturbing.
A few years later, Richard Cox was cast as the main villain of the Librarians season two, Shakespeare’s wizard Prospero from the Tempest. This powerful Fictional caught Ariel, a fairy, and uses her magic for his own ends, and also summoned several other characters from literature to help him bring out his plan to change the world, including James Moriarty from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein’s Monster from Frankenstein, and the Queen of Hearts from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. He appears in The Librarians Season 2, Episodes 1, 2, and 10.

Dancers baring their souls to give voices to those gone forever
The friends of the Monte-Carlo Ballet had the chance to attend the April Imprevus at their atelier, with a sneak peak at the newest creation of talented Slovakian choreographer Natalia Horecna entitled But Behind the Bridge, that will premiere from April 27-30, 2017 at the Grimaldi Forum.
Jean-Christophe Maillot, Artistic Director of the Monte-Carlo Ballet introduced Natalia Horecna who opened the presentation of her ballet by referring to “dancers are the material grown in this house of art,” referring to the state-of-the-art atelier. She then introduced the different characters, and gave a narrative before each section of her new ballet, immersing everyone of us in the dramatic plot of her creation, that recreated the fateful voyage of the drowned 3-year-old Syrian boy, Alan Kurdi, found lying facedown on a beach near Turkish resort of Bodrum on September 2, 2015, to tell the tragic plight of refugees, who leave their homes for the unknown fleeing a war they did not choose.

Natalia’s message is that “we cannot change the world but we can contribute a little.” She added that the dancers are “proud to bare their souls and give voices to those gone forever.” Her ballet touched our souls forever as we are all one, trying to make sense of a world gone mad, making an effort to keep our faith in humanity alive, desperate to overcome violence and greed with compassion. The performance filled our eyes with tears, made our hearts beat faster and will hopefully move us into action.
