Can we just take a moment to appreciate that despite all the chaos throughout the season, Guildford managed to not lose his wedding ring!
That’s a committed man, right there!

It's actually kind of bothers me how we got to see Sam and Emma's relationship develop step by step and see them experience their firsts but we got all these jumps with limoreau.
we needed to see them reconcile and discuss their insecurities after all that build up, I'm also pissed off that neither of them had full autonomy over their first time sleeping with each other at that party.
They're the main ship of the show, and they're being glossed over like tf

Speaking of ROP, I saw one of those posts that puts a random ROP costume beside a PJ!LOTR costume to argue that ROP's costuming is objectively bad rather than just a moderately different aesthetic using very detailed and high quality materials at a difficult time IRL.
Ordinarily I do find these posts deeply annoying as someone who much prefers the ROP aesthetic and likes many of the costumes, but this one was contrasting ROP's Númenor costuming with the films' Gondor and I just burst out laughing.

I think the problem with being able to binge such a plot heavy show like Fallout is that we don't get to sit and digest every possible thing that happens and so a lot of background shenanigans get ignored for what is explicitly told to us which leads to people not understanding that there was so much more going on in the background than meets the eye. We don't get time to take in the details. And it leads to dumb takes like, "New Vegas was retconned" when it so clearly wasn't.

So I finally broke down and decided to buy The Ghoul collectable figure from Amazon, but the last seller on there had some pretty dubious reviews and I didn't wanna risk it so I was super bummed. But then I found THIS GUY on Dark Horse and holy shit, he looks SOOOOOO much better. And he's a little cheaper too.

The figure wont be released until September, but I'm just happy I looked because they really captured his likeness so well. Can't wait to bring him home! ❤
Here's the link if y'all wanna get your hands on him too (and why wouldn't you?)

Kamen rider amazons (2016) is actually the imagination of a group of kids that started because one of the boys really likes to bite, they used it as an excuse to beat the shit out of him

I talk so much about Jordan on here for someone whose favourite character is actually Marie, so let me sing her praises.
Let me just say, it is so nice to have not only a woman but a black woman protagonist with vile violent powers. I know we've had a ton of strong female superheros with superstrength and what not. But Marie's power is viewed as "putrid" and "disgusting" (not to me I think they're cunty), its powerful but not marketable (hence Brink's rejection). There's something about that, it just feels cathartic to see someone so strong and powerful have their foil be that their powers aren't beautiful, flowery or socially acceptable. Like Marie as a person/supe innately rages against the system. It also kind of speaks to the way black women are conditioned to define their worth by the standards of white femininity through white supremacy and then are constantly denied it. Within the patriarchy, women are defined by their fragility, their delicateness, their innocence, their need for protection but when it comes to woc (Black women especially) they are considered to exist outside of those bounds, outside of those needs.
I just think a lot of care and consideration went into crafting such a dynamic layered character like more of this, actually, please, and thanks.
Diverging from the Marie praise:
Another interesting note, is that when the board is deciding what narrative they should use to cover up the Golden Boy incident, its specifically mentioned that Marie is being favoured by the public, for her beauty, mind you she was just standing there in the video, she didn't use her abilities at all. The reason she ended up in the top 10 is in spite of her powers, I wonder if the result would still be the same if she did use them (I honestly don't think so).
Diving into the top ten a little more, I don't think there's a single person on there who placed purely because of merit. I think there's a series of criteria that needs to be met regarding power, status, and popularity. We saw how quickly Andre got bodied by Sam. He's definitely top 10 because of nepotism as well as the fact that he's just attractive. Jordan Li is there because of their close relationship with Brink (albeit probably formed because of how strong Jordan is, but I digress). But their also the acceptable inoffensive kind of queer that can give God U points for diversity without offending its more conservative sponsors or benefactors. Jordan's also attractive, in both forms, so that helps as well. Golden Boy's an all-rounder, an all-American attractive white boy with an ability that's not only strong but makes for entertaining spectacle.
Andre, Golden Boy, and Jordan's powers are all powerful, but just as importantly, they're aesthetically pleasing and aspirational that, among other reasons, is why they're top 10.
Let me get into Cate and Emma another day.

Sister sage and permission
A-Train mentions that sister sage got canned because she was TOO SMART to smart to know when to keep her mouth shut which may have taught her that she couldn't go showing and using her genius freely or else others get offended/hurt so she waits for permission. That's why her reaction when Homelander asks her to join, to use her abilities was so intense and relieving. She could finally be free to do as she wished to use her genius in every which way possible to go into situations to 'see if she could'. She's a genius. A genius that knows from experience that she needs permission to use this ability or else she'll get canned. The sigh of relief. The facial twitches. It was her acknowledging the permission to let loose. And she indeed did let loose.

Rewatching Good Omens season 2 for its anniversary and I pause to read the sign on Aziraphale’s bookshop door and Amazon has put up a little note with the words all clearly written for fans.
So much love! Makes me laugh and smile so much because this these details and so so many more are so damn important and worth pausing for. I wonder what else would pop up if I paused at moments I needed a closer look. Haha
