GRINGOS who doesn’t know anything about what happened and that took the images out of the context! Saying that “Brazilians deserved to die on the flood because they were making “fun” of god” which btw is simply NOT TRUE!

I will just say facts about Brazil that they probably don’t know and didn’t care to searche before saying all of this xenophobic thing:

This was not a “devil parade” it was part of Carnaval, a party that was introduced to us by Portugal during their colonisation.

Btw Brazil have 170 million Catholics (64% of the country entire population)

This was a spread fake news that said that the actor who played the devil in the parade in Anhembi suffered a car accident and ended up dying. "No one mocks God," says the publication shared on social networks that brings the lie. The choreographer states that the boy has been suffering threats and that he has even deleted social networks because of the criticism, but that he is fine and that the story of the accident was nothing but a lie!(this link also explain the amazing idea these artist had and how beautiful and meaningful it was)

Plus flood, unhappily is not a strange thing to happen in Brazil, during the summer it is pretty common and the blame is all in our shit politicians who doesn’t actually do nothing to prevent this of happening every beginning of the year.

I just can’t understand how Christians who claim that their god is a god of love and mercy can also say that 457 persons deserved to die and 7,8 million people deserved to be affected by the rains, having to leave their homes permanently or temporarily because they felt their religion was threatened.

post nicho pra paulistanos fãs do arctic monkeys mas não é um Absurdo que eles nunca fizeram show no allianz parque?? em 2014 eu dou esse crédito porque o allianz tinha acabado de ser inaugurado (edit: na verdade eu acabei de ver que o show deles no anhembi foi 5 dias antes da inauguração do allianz) mas eles tiveram mais 2 oportunidades em 2019 e 2022 e??? decidiram vir no lolla e no primavera tipo??? não tem COMO festivais serem mais lucrativos pra eles, eu me recuso. eles encheriam o allianz muito fácil, eu tô puta

If you dont mind me asking, where DID you go to college?

Anhembi Morumbi. I am from Brasil. It was ok, it's a private college, in Brasil you are usually after the state-funded ones, as they are the best you can get, gives you the biggest credentials. The way they structured the course was good, with a game having to be made every 6 months. But I think it's bogged down by interests from investors. Private institutions are always a Trojan Horse for the simple desire of increasing returns. The goal of the body itself is secondary and ends up as more of an accident when it's achieved than something you can attribute to the organization. Brasil doesn't really have good Game Design courses. They are all extremely market oriented or under-funded, like the one I did. I'd still recommend it if you are brasillian yourself (desse jeito é mais fácil achar outros desenvolvedores e se organizar para talvez criar um futuro melhor.). I felt like most of my progress was to the merit of me and my colleagues, or one or two good professor in an army of underpaid, uninterested ones.

Samba Schools in São Paulo Celebrate Black People and Criticize Religious Intolerance

The schools will parade at the Anhembi Sambadrome on Friday and Saturday with themes that celebrate black people and criticize religious intolerance

It feels as if the biological clock of the Carnaval partygoers in Brazil has gone back to their regular time zone and the heart is once again beating in the same old pace as before —pumped by boxes, repiniques and tambourines, of course. This Friday (17th) and Saturday (18th), 14 Samba schools from the Sao Paulo's Special Group will once again parade at the Anhembi Sambadrome, in the north of São Paulo, during the official Carnival period.

Criticism of religious intolerance and racism are among the main themes of the first night of the parades, when Samba schools from São Paulo will also take a ride through the sea waters of the south coast of Rio de Janeiro or the Pantanal.

Tamagotchi Featured at 2023 Anime Friends in Brazil

Tamagotchi in Brazil! Anime Friends is the biggest oriental pop culture festival in Brazil, and they just celebrated 20 years of existence. The event ran from July 13th, through July 16th, 2023 at Pavilhão de Exposições do Distrito Anhembi in Brazil.

Toy Mania, one of the pioneers in e-commerce in the toy market in partnership with Bandai Brazil, brought a Tamagotchi booth to the event. The booth featured the brand new Tamagotchi Uni, Tamagotchi Original, and some collaborations.
