I'm usually so bad at these, but @astraldepths tagged me to do this music meme, and it caught my fancy, so I'm doing it!

1. Epic - Symphony by Morgan Clae

Some of these are going to be character songs for my D&D characters, and this is the first - my sad purple child, Anouk, who I play in Curse of Strahd (which my crush runs), is on track to become a pissed off vengeful celestial bent on killing the Count himself, and this is kind of the vibe.

2. Cheerful - Cure For Me by Aurora

My crush introduced me to this song as a character song for the character they play in Wild Beyond the Witchlight (which I run), and it's a fun track and I enjoy it.

3. Sugary Sweet - I'd Be Your Wife by Mary Lambert

What can I say? If I ever find someone I want to marry who also wants to marry me, I want to sing this song to propose. It's so cute.

4. The Good Old Days - Some Nights by Fun.

This was huge when I was in high school. There was also a fandom cover that was huge on here. Nuff said.

5. Jogging - Enter Sandman by Rina Sawayama

The original was huge in my life in college, and this cover has my heart now. This is another track for my sad purple child, Anouk - it's the one I imagine her actually killing Strahd to. Or just turning anyone to paste, really.

6. Unusual - Ma Meilleure Ennemie by Pomme and Stromae

Not my usual vibe, but I loved it in Arcane, and I find myself jamming out to it a bunch!

7. The Stage - Wait For Me from Hadestown

I love tragedies, like, love love love tragedies, and I adore Hadestown, and I love to sing this one.

8. Yourself - Hard Times by Paramore

Another sad purple child song, but only because I associate nearly all of Paramore's music with her in my head. Anything I put for this one will feel like a cop out because I don't really have a personal theme song, but I guess this is as close as I get to a theme song.

9. Emotional - Sing Gently composed by Eric Whitacre

One last sad purple child song, because of course. This one can reliably make me cry. The first time I heard it, when it was first released, I bawled my eyes out and then listened to it another five times immediately. It might only be that emotional for me because of who I am as a person and not because of anything inherent to the song, though.

Nika or Nessaya. They're just very chill to hang out with. And I would love to hear Nika infodump about poetry or history and Nessaya about the graveyard they work on <3

is the best with kids?

Nika. He works a lot with kids to teach them how to control their magic and also he just hangs out with them and helps them with their various trauma stuff. Although: shoutout to Morel who, despite being huge and scary and socially incompetent somehow is not bad with kids?

is or was your favorite to roleplay?

I think Anouk ��� They're such a softhearted, traumatized drama bean with so many layers of whump potential. Also they're awkward as fuck. I love them so. Shout out to my fellow players and my dm who make playing them so much fun <3<3<3

is or was your favorite to play in combat?

Probably Io. But that's mostly because they're high level (level 17) and get to do a lot of cool stuff :'D I multiclassed them from Barbarian to Paladin and I haven't tried that combo out yet, but I think it'll be fun!
