From the saturniidae family. They have a wingspan of 125-130 mm. They tend to inhabit evergreen humid forests, subhumid zones, dry zones, subarid zones and mountain ranges. They can be found in Madagascar and Mayotte.
Here you can see one of my latest pinned and framed moths! I raise them as pets and give them a second life afterwards.
This is a madagascar bullseye moth which I am currently raising again because they are such cute little fellas.
I will have this moth as well as many more with me on the Leipzig Bookfair at the end of March.

back with my moth/ butterfly series
This little one hatched a couple of days ago early in the morning.
I wasn’t expecting it to for another couple of weeks at least, but the rainy season probably pushed it to emerge earlier
