I travelled from Tokyo to Aoi-ku, Shizuoka to see Mt. Fuji, but Mt. Fuji didn't want to see me. It turns out, Mt. Fuji hides behind the clouds most of the time. My Japanese cousin told me that in all his time in Japan, he has only seen Mt. Fuji without clouds just five (5) times... This would have been the most beautiful McDonald's restaurant ever if Mt. Fuji did not hide behind the clouds.

JR Pass

Traveling through Japan using the Japan-wide JR Pass has always been a dream of mine. In 2019 I wanted to get this pass, but I couldn’t afford it… I was still having second thoughts if I should be getting it during my recent Japan trip. It’s still quite expensive for me, but the JR Pass will increase by 70% starting October 2023.

So, I decided to get it because I might not be able to afford it in my next Japan visit… It didn’t disappoint, BTW.
