Currtly writing the next episode of th history Korean male groups and i some what came to stump. As i was reading some information (about a group which i'm not going to mention, but try and figure who I'll be talking about next 😉) and this Japanese group came up 'Astrojet' (ザ・アストロ・ゼット). One of there, i think most popular songs was "Let's Go to the Beach (海邊~行~)," it was created in 1965, inspired by the scenery of Yokohama's beaches.

I need some help. I'm kinda lost when reaserching about Japanese groups as I only know Korean websites and not any Japanese ones, as I would like to add some information about them. I've tried just searching there name in both English and Japanese and nothing comes up. 😭 Does anyone know Japanese websites?

forgive the poor photo quality but i got to see Her last week. was a VERY fun surprise to see, apparently she's the only one with this livery? either way it was very cool and i thought it was interesting

THE ASTROJET!!!! This is the livery they first used on their 707s right when jets were just being invented, this is such a neat heritage livery and I should cover it someday - thank you so much for getting a picture of her, I'm jealous you got to see her in person!!

A American Airlines apresentou no domingo (4), um dos seus aviões com cores retro utilizadas nas década de 1960. A aeronave, apelidada de “Astrojet” é um Boeing 737 e representa os “dias de glória” da companhia.

De acordo o AirlineGeek, a pintura retro seria aplicada no jato de registro N951AA, o 50º Boeing 737 da American Airlines recebido em 2000. No entanto, a companhia decidiu utilizar a pintura em outro 737 de registro N905NN, uma vez que o N951AA está próximo do final de vida operacional.

O tema nostálgico foi usado pela primeira vez em 1964 em um Boeing 727 da frota da companhia aérea americana. O novo tema “Astrojet” do 737 apresenta listras vermelhas vívidas e a fuselagem de alumínio polido.

O Boeing 737 temático que saiu das oficinas de pintura da American Airlines em New Iberia, em Luisiania, junta-se a outras aeronaves com temas retro do transportador, que inclui o AirCal (N917NN), o TWA (N915NN), o Reno Air (N916NN), o PSA (N742PS) e ainda o Piedmont (N74P) – aeronaves que celebram a rica história do transportador americano.
