the big three of Harley motherfucking Quinn, bitch
Tumblr media
“I made a promise to myself that the next time I got a boyfriend I’d be on the lookout for red flags and if I saw anything I’d do the healthy thing and murder him.”
Here's my take on the (possible) big three of Harley Quinn.
Cancer Sun
Harley just GIVES huge Cancer energy. She's the quintessential ride-or-die kind of person and oh-so-loyal to the Joker. She even adopted a kid in Birds of Prey, remember? AND she defended the kid until the very end. If that isn't big sister/low-key momma bird energy, I don't know what is. She's just super caring and sweet at her core, which made me think of her being a Cancer Sun.
Libra Moon
Now she could be a Libra Moon for two main reasons, I think. One is because she has a literal Ph.D. in psych, and two is because she seems to value relationships A LOT, not just with the Joker but her dad as well. She got into psych so she could understand why her dad had abandoned her, so I'd like to think that her motivation to study was so she could understand why her dad simply left. Libra energy is known to be both intelligent and relationship-oriented, and Harley's character really combines both these attributes really well, which only got me to conclude that our girl has GOTTA be a Libra Moon.
Gemini Rising
Harley's transformation from a straight-laced psychiatrist to her iconic, crazy I-don't-care-who's-looking look (that we all know and love) AND her hair, which is part red and part blue, suggests DUALITY, aka Gemini vibes! Like I couldn't think of anything else. She's great at reading people, great at flirting, can go emotionless and cold when she has to, so it just adds up, don't you think? Side note though, I could def see her having major Uranus influence in her chart like Uranus in the first house or something; she gives that crazy young Miley Cyrus energy too, I feel :p
Harley Quinn, nice to meetcha! Love your perfume! What is that, the stench of death?
Tumblr media
A hugeeee THANK YOU to EVERYbody who have been supporting me and showing love!!
Keep getting bamboozled by the skies and ill see ya :p

Vimshamsha or the D20 by Shakti Mohan Singh
We use several divisional charts (16 according to VPHS), the navamsha or the D-9 being the most popular, although the most misunderstood also, but here I propose to write something about the D-20, i.e. the Vimshamsha. I think that I am right when I say that this is one of the most neglected ones out of the 16.

Sun conjunct Mercury
(in the natal chart)
In astrology Mercury represents communication, the capacity to categorize and label things, the ability to relate to the physical world through concepts and words, the play of duality and the mutable nature of thought. In mythology he is the god of financial gain, commerce, messages, boundaries, luck, trickery and thieves, shop keepers and merchants. He is also the god of divination, the phenomena of foretelling, receiving signs from the gods and interpreting patterns. He also has the function of guiding souls into the underworld. He is the Roman equivalent of the Greek god Hermes who shares many similar traits.
I’ve come to perceive Mercury as very slippery figure that you can never trust completely. He is quick and clever but lacks a fixed set of morals and responsibilities. He possesses a certain charm and playfulness, a childlike carelessness and a humorous cunning twinkle in his eyes. He can adopt all kinds of traits and pick up on social cues without much effort. This is probably why he is the god of financial gain. Mercury can ”pretend” his way to financial success and take on the role that will yield the desired results. However, he is never completely sincere and serious in his endeavors. He’s not completely cruel but everything he does has a faint scent of dishonesty to it, even if he attempts to play honestly. He’s the god of thieves and tricksters after all, much like a magician that doesn’t mean much by his act, but takes some pleasure in outsmarting people and watching them act bewildered by his tricks. Mercury can be anything he wants to be and anything that the situation requires. He is a skilled actor that is difficult to see through – easy to get frustrated with but impossible hold a grudge against. He is too much of a wild card, a joker, too much of a a lucky little devil to get into any real trouble. If he happens to find himself in a tight spot, he is the god of luck so he’ll wiggle himself out somehow.
In mythology Hermes (Mercury) is the son of Zeus (Jupiter) and Maia. He was born at dawn and by noon he had invented the lyre by killing a tortoise, stretching seven strings of sheep-gut over the shell. Even though he was just a new born, he had stolen the cattle of his older brother Apollo and went back to his cradle, playing innocent. Apollo didn’t buy Hermes’ attempt to ward of his suspicion, and was completely enraged by his dishonesty and trickery. Strangely enough, Apollo was ready to forgive him after Hermes had played him a song on the lyre. There are many stories like this about Mercury which illustrates my point that he gets away with a lot of things. He is so skilled and valuable an asset to others that they’d be foolish to dispense of him.
When the Sun is conjunct Mercury in the natal chart, the identity of the individual is embedded with the traits of the messenger god. This means that the person’s individuation process is to unfold in the direction of the trickster. The person may not have a clear direction or purpose for their self-development other than to embody mutability and duality. What I mean by this is that the person feels strong and accomplished through being able to be anything and anyone at any given time, depending on their own mood or what is needed in the situation they’re in. They’re mission could be to pick up on people’s patterns and way of thinking and emulate traits to navigate their way through life effortlessly. Since the Sun relates to one’s father/father figures, the person’s father might be talkative, inclined to connect with other people over shared interests, outgoing and versatile, good at speaking or writing. Sun-Mercury individuals would have things in common with Gemini Suns, although Sun-Mercury conjunct represents an identity entanglement with the messenger god, while the Sun in Gemini merely represents the identity expressed through mercurial traits.
It is of course possible to have a Sun-Mercury conjunction in the sign of Gemini. This is the case with the famous Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962). She was, as we know, an American actress, model and singer that became famous for her sex appeal and blonde pin-up esc appearance. Her star image became that of a ”dumb blonde”, which could have been a deliberate promotion tactic rather than a reflection of her own character. More likely than not she was not dumb at all (Mercury is not unintelligent), but she didn’t mind playing on those qualities for whatever reason. Her Sun-Mercury conjunction forms a quintile aspect to Neptune in the 1st house of self. Her strong neptunian influence probably sought to reflect and merge with the image that other people approved of and liked. She didn’t have a very pleasant childhood after all, with time spent in an orphanage and foster homes where she was sexually abused and molested. Her mother was unable to care for her due to mental illness and no father was ever part of the picture. With an upbringing like her’s, it’s easy to understand why she would want to appeal to people’s desires and dreams, which she ultimately did by embodying an image of beauty and allure to establish some kind of closeness, even if it had to be done through a persona. The 1st house doesn’t reflect our ideal personal identity but rather a way of responding and reacting to the environment. It’s a set of behavioral patterns that constitutes our manners and presentation. Monroe had a Leo Ascendant (the cusp of the 1st house), which would give her the presence of a diva, in the sense that she would stand out and make an impact through her presence.
Mercury is really a god that favors the lower class because he is the god of deals and trades, financial gain and luck. With a Sun-Mercury conjunction a person would be equipped to climb from the bottom and up, bridging borders of status and social class with less effort than the average person. Monroe certainly succeeded in moving herself up the ladder of success and independence, which no doubt had to do with her ability to be mutable and adaptable like a true Gemini. To have the radiance of Leo and emotional receptiveness of Neptune didn’t hurt either in that sense. She was generally a troubled soul however, suffering from addiction, depression and anxiety. Mercury and Gemini are known for being a bit high-strung, mentally nervous and stressed, but it’s usually not a question of soul sickness, but rather of over-stimulation. In Monroe’s case her Sun-Mercury doesn’t make any hard aspect to other planets. Her Moon is the only personal planet with major hard aspects, sitting in the 7th house of relationships opposing Neptune and squaring Saturn. The Moon represents personal, emotional and instinctual needs. When the Moon is in the 7th house, the Moon expresses itself through relationships with other people. She presumably needed relationships (romantic or otherwise) to feel in touch with her own unique needs, to feel satisfied on a fundamental level. With Neptune opposing the Moon she would’ve experienced a conflict between emotional reflectiveness (Neptune in the 1st house) and her own personal feelings in situations with people (Moon in the 7th house). She must’ve felt a clear conflict between merging with the emotional atmosphere and establishing her own emotional identity. Saturn squaring the Moon would cause insecurity of having her own needs met as well as deprivation and critique around her basic nature. Her Moon is in Aquarius, which indicates that she would need mental understanding of her feelings more than anything – not to mention space and autonomy within relationships. This was apparently hard for her to establish and as it seems, she suffered for it immensely.

On 30th October 2023, Rahu transited to Pisces and Ketu to Virgo, activating the Pisces Virgo axis for the next 18 months (Rahu Ketu Transit 2023-2025). Rahu and Ketu are known to be naturally malefic planets. However, based on their placement in your birth chart, the influence of Rahu and Ketu will be observed to be both good and bad on all 12 zodiac signs.

Sun conjunct Uranus
(in the natal chart)
In mythology Uranus (Ouranus) was the sky father, wife to Gaia, mother earth. Uranus used to cover the earth every night and mate with Gaia. However he disliked the children that was conceived, and so he imprisoned them deep within the earth. This didn’t sit well with Gaia and she tried to persuade her sons to castrate their father. Saturn (Kronos), who was the youngest managed to execute the deed and flung his father’s testicles into the sea. From the genitals in the sea rose Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.
It’s always a bit puzzling to interpret these stories, but considering that Uranus in astrology represents the higher mind, the collective thought-scape, the concept of change, the perfection of ideas, originality and genius, it adds up. Uranus didn’t like his children, presumably because they were of the earth and therefore imperfect. In heaven everything is light as air and thoughts are forever moldable in the thought-scape. Physical children however, are not. They are concrete and real which makes them boring and despicable (according the the unmanifested Uranus). When Saturn castrated his father he caused a separation between the earth and the sky, so that heaven never came upon the earth but stayed in it’s fixed place. Aphrodite (Venus) appearance makes sense too. Venus rules Libra, the cardinal air sign, associated with communicative harmony and the relationship between minds. Libra is concerned with the aesthetic principle, not so different from Uranus mental perfection. Venus is also the ruler of Taurus, the fixed earth sign. Hence Aphrodite has two aspects to her, the mental ideal of beauty and the physical sensation of pleasure.
When the Sun is conjunct Uranus in the natal chart, the individuation process is linked with the father of the heavens. A person with this conjunction would have a strong tendency to develop his identity according to ethical, humanitarian ideals. The person would have large scale visions and be more concerned about collective matters and societal progression than the journey of the self. Actually, with this placement the person feels as if they’re developing themselves when they are part of a greater movement towards freedom. Uranus symbolizes the function of reform, change and improvement. Sun-Uranus creates a person who is innovative, ethical and analytical. These people would most likely want to be part of a larger group through which they would find their identity. If other chart factors don’t indicate otherwise, they would be quite detached and unemotional, intellectualizing everything and keeping things ”above ground”. As the story hints, Uranus doesn’t meddle in earthy matters. Sun-Uranus individuals would be similar to Aquarius Suns, but they would probably be even more detached, since Aquarius as sign is co-ruled by Saturn (the planet of physical structure/ restriction) and Uranus. As previously stated, these kind of people would do well in larger groups, but more as a theoretical belonging than through up close interaction and involvement. I can picture these people being part of groups online, helping people by furthering a cause in the comfort of their own private sphere. They would feel suffocated by clingy physically and emotional interaction. Anything that has a higher density than air would not appeal to them. Intellectual interaction is what they need.
The famous actor Keanu Reeves has a Sun-Uranus conjunction in the 1st house (the house of self), right on the Ascendant. Simply put, the Ascendant describes how one reacts and relates to the immediate environment. In Keanu Reeves case he would come off as aloof, as a bit of a distant loner. His Mercury is also part of the conjunction and so is Pluto. He would react with mental swiftness and sophistication to situations and find a sense of identity in the way he presents himself. I wrote about Pluto conjunct the Sun in a previous post where I talked about Victor Hugo. Similar to Hugo, Reeves would self-actualize through intense emotional circumstances used as a tool for transformation. He would also appear very secretive and observant with Pluto, the god of the underworld close to his Sun and Ascendant.
His Sun-Mercury-Uranus-Pluto conjunction sits opposite Saturn, in the 6th house of employment and work. According to Wikipedia he has been referred to as hard working/a workaholic, charming and excruciatingly shy. The workaholic part certainly reflects Saturn in the 6th, the most achievement oriented, disciplined planet in the house of work. His shy nature is reflected by the Moon, Venus and Mars in Cancer, as Cancer is water sign centered around care and emotional safety. Not to forget that he is in fact a Virgo Sun and Rising (Ascendant), which are not exactly the most outgoing, flamboyant of placements. Virgo Suns seek to develop their purity and honesty, their mental faculties, their integrity and self-reliability. They will strive to be efficient, detail-oriented, humble, health focused and of service to themselves and others on the physical plane. I found a quote from him on some cite, I’m not sure if he actually said it or not, but it reflects his Virgo nature perfectly;
“Money doesn’t mean anything to me. I’ve made a lot of money, but I want to enjoy life and not stress myself building my bank account. I give lots away and live simply, mostly out of a suitcase in hotels. We all know that good health is much more important.” Keanu Reeves

Sun conjunct Neptune
Sun conjunct Neptune
(in the natal chart)
Neptune is the god of the sea and other bodies of water, especially fresh water while his wife Salacia apparently ruled over the salt water domain. In any case, Neptune is related to water in general. In astrology it’s the ruler of the sign of Pisces, the mutable universal water sign and the 12th house, the house of disintegration of the personality, endings, losses and sorrows. Ultimately, without water there’s no life. Our bodies contain a ridiculous amount of water that we must ”borrow” from the sea god and return again at some point. Neptune makes it possible for separate life forms to exist but the universal water component within longs to reunite with it’s vastness.
In conjunction with the Sun, the individuation process of unfolding one’s ideal self will happen in a paradoxical way. It will happen through staying connected to the universal principle of oneness and remaining in a diffuse condition on non-separateness. As the Sun is related to the father figure, one’s father could be experienced as an undefined, abstract character. He could be glorified and representative of the great beloved, the source of life, the eternal home. It sounds wonderful when presented like this, and no doubt it is a very appealing phenomena to Neptune dominant individuals. However, the Sun principle is that of individuation, that which makes an individual special and great in his own right, as a distinguished separate entity. Neptune counteracts this principle and compels the personality to stay in the cocoon of emotional cohesion. A Sun-Neptune person really is the embodiment of the sea god, a powerful and all-consuming individual that seeks to erase borders through emotional fusion. The victim/savior dynamic is in full swing with this conjunction and the person might identify as either or throughout life in attempt to remerge with the infinite source.
The famous painter Frida Kahlo had a Sun-Neptune conjunction in Cancer in the 11th house. It sits opposite to a Mars-Uranus conjunction in Capricorn which must be reflective of the bus accident she was involved in at the age of eighteen (Mars = violence/aggression, Uranus = sudden change). At the time she was heading for medical school in terms of her studies which strikingly reflects the caring nature of Cancer and Neptune’s function as a healer tied up with her identity. The accident left her in much pain. Ironically, she was put in the role of the victim by some ”outer” force (which is classic in terms of the opposition aspect between planets). This was undoubtedly part of the divine orchestration, since it’s reflected in her chart in such an obvious way. She had to face the physical pain from the accident and continuous medical problems throughout her life.
The accident resulted in her pursuing art as a career, an excellent way to channel the emotional richness of Neptune.
Also, the ”vicious” Mars-Uranus conjunction that ”caused the accident” sits in the 5th house of creativity and self-expression. My guess is that these planets wanted to be expressed creatively and couldn’t get to that point in any other way than what took place. According to Wikipedia, Kahlo felt that the accident and the following isolation made her want to begin to paint things as she saw them with her own eyes and nothing more. The self serving, reality imposing Mars drive and the original Uranus was probably speaking through her at that point. Mars-Uranus is a powerful force indeed, as Uranus is a higher octave planet that is governing the collective thought-scape. Combined with the personal drive, the person becomes an innovative force with grand-scale visions and concerns. She was politically and scientifically interested which is highlighted by her Sun-Neptune in the 11th house of groups and collective matters.
When reading through some of her quotes, I’m not surprised that they are so neptunian in nature. They’re full of sadness, fantasies about blissfulness, how she lacks the ambition to become ”somebody”, how she was born a victim of life, flawed and strange, how she’s full of pain, how she resents rich people and how she thinks everyone deserves unconditional love and so on. It’s very martyr-like, but touching and the same time. The longing for escape from the bounds of the world is there, but she also romanticizes pain and human love. The aggressive passivity of the self-proclaimed victim is evident in her words, yet it evokes sympathy and understanding. Neptune is in all of us, pulling us away from the realm of separation and back to something ever loving.

Sun conjunct Jupiter
Sun conjunct Jupiter (in the natal chart) Jupiter is the archetypal spirit of the cosmos. In Roman mythology, he is the king of the gods, a sky god who governs divine law. In contrast to Saturn, who symbolizes manifested physical structure, time and physical utility, Jupiter is more concerned with the philosophical realm, the laws of the universe, the web of interconnectedness and the meaning behind it all.   In conjunction with the Sun, the individuation principle (symbolic of the father figure) is blended with the sky god. People with this placement will feel a heightened sense of meaning and fate in the process of becoming a separate self, and likely a strong pull to explore the facets of the world and the mind through the house (area of life) the planets are placed in. There’s a definite optimism and faith that comes with this conjunction, a strong belief in oneself as a unique soul, a unique spirit. One would be inclined to share one’s own perspective and discoveries, to become a source of inspiration and knowledge through one’s own life. There’s a risk of self-aggrandizement and exaggerated confidence. With this conjunction in a fire sign, the person could come close to actually perceive himself as a kind of demi-god, or at least intimately connected with the archetypal god quality within. A person like this could appear extremely potent and fascinating to ”mere mortals”.   Mick Jagger, the famous front figure of The Rolling Stones has this aspect in Leo in the 3rd house with Pluto conjunct Jupiter. Pluto in his case, enhances the power and magnetism of the personality even further. He becomes not only a god but a kind of mystical, dark and sexually enticing creature as well. His erratic, energetic and original dance style is very fitting with the Sun-Jupiter sextile to Uranus. There’s certainly not a lack of energy to this man, as Mars, the god of war, squares his Sun-Jupiter conjunction. Neptune plays a part in this orchestration as well, forming a sextile to his Sun-Jupiter, adding the ability  merge with the collective emotional realm. Neptune provides the ability to fuse with the emotions of the environment, to become a vessel for the emotional pull of the masses.   Being the front figure of such a popular band undoubtedly would have made him feel like a god at times, a powerful source of influence and energy in front of a crowd of adoring fans. He even received a knighthood for his services to popular music, which must have felt great to his Sun-Jupiter conjunction in Leo, the most royal sign of them all (even though he seems to have denied the significance of such an honor). According to Wikipedia, he claimed to be touched by the significance the knighthood held for his father. The Sun is after all representative of the father and my guess would be that Jagger unknowingly talked about himself through referring to his father, the primary example of the masculine principle in his own life. His Sun-Jupiter in the 3rd house is interesting to explore. His father and grand father were both teachers. The third house in astrology represents lower education, learning and communication with the immediate environment. To top it off, a performing arts venue was established within the grounds of Dartford Grammar School in the UK named after Mick Jagger, a former student at the school. And so his identity, his Sun, is to be found within the themes of the 3rd house. It’s fascinating how it all fits together.
