On the Eyes of Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent: The Windows to Their Souls 🌟🦇🦸‍♂️
There’s something about eyes. I’m not talking about just their color or the way they shine in certain light, but the depth behind them. With Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, their eyes tell you everything about who they are — even when they’re hiding behind a mask or a pair of glasses.
🦇 Bruce Wayne’s eyes are a perfect reflection of Gotham’s darkness. They’re haunted, sharp, always calculating. When Bruce looks at you, it’s not just seeing — it’s assessing. Those eyes have witnessed trauma, pain, and a kind of isolation that leaves its mark. His gaze is always vigilant, always looking for threats, always burdened by the weight of his past and the city he’s sworn to protect. In everything Bruce does, there’s a calculation.
But that’s not what’s most interesting.
No, it’s what you see when he lets his guard down — just a little bit. A fleeting look, a slight softness when he's with those he trusts (whether it’s Alfred, Dick, or even Clark). You can catch it if you pay attention. And it’s in those rare moments that his eyes show something other than the hardened vigilante: humanity.
🦸‍♂️ Clark Kent, on the other hand, has eyes that shine with warmth and hope. His gaze is steady, filled with the optimism that makes him who he is. His eyes have seen the best in humanity, even if the world has tried to make him doubt it. Clark’s kindness isn’t just about how he acts — it’s embedded in the way he looks at people. When he looks at someone, it’s like he’s already forgiving them for their mistakes.
He looks at the world with the belief that it can be better, that people can change, that love can win.
But, as much as his eyes reflect hope, they also hide a burden. There is a weight behind that kindness. There’s the pressure of being everything to everyone. He’s not just the hero, he’s the moral compass, and sometimes that becomes a lonely place to stand.
🌧️ Maybe that’s why Bruce’s eyes are more gray than blue. Not because they’re clouded or dim, but because they’ve been tempered by Gotham’s harshness. They’ve absorbed the grit, the shadows, and the unrelenting weight of a city that never lets you forget its darkness. His eyes aren’t just a reflection of what he’s seen, but of the battles he’s fought and lost.
☀️ Meanwhile, Clark’s eyes are a bright, hopeful blue — like the open skies of Kansas. They’re clear, unclouded by the world’s cynicism. His gaze reflects a life shaped by the warmth of family, by the wide, open spaces of his childhood, and by the belief that the world can be better.
Together, these two are often seen as opposites: Bruce, the man shaped by pain, distrust, and tragedy. Clark, the man of hope, compassion, and unshakable faith. But when you look into their eyes, there’s a shared burden. A shared humanity. And it’s in the moments where their gazes meet — whether it’s in silent understanding or in battle — that we see just how connected they truly are.
The eyes, truly, are the windows to the soul.
And Bruce and Clark? Well, their souls couldn’t be more different, and yet, they share something undeniably real.

JJ Maybank Character Analysis
Why a pairing of Kiara and JJ would hardly work under real-life circumstances
Tumblr media
Screenwriters love messy romantic storylines because drama sells and keeps us all on the edge of our seats. Complicated relationships filled with "OMG, did that just happen?" moments push characters to grow and show off their deeper sides, making them more relatable. Plus, they mirror our own love life dramas (or lack thereof) and give us an escape from reality. The whole "will they or won’t they" vibe keeps us binge-watching season after season, completely invested in their rollercoaster romance.
But let's get real for a sec—these chaotic love stories shouldn't be your blueprint for a real-life relationship.
That being said, it might not be the popular opinion, but Kiara would be the worst match for JJ. In real life, their relationship would quickly go downhill, and here's why:
JJ's been crushing on Kiara since Season 1. His feelings have been solid, even while she was off exploring things with John B. and Pope even though she often treated him badly, commenting on almost all of his actions with sarcasm and disregard.
There are a lot of examples, especially in the first two seasons, where Kiara is being disrespectful and sarcastic towards JJ. It actually seems like she doesn't care for him at all
That's why Kiara’s sudden interest in JJ, after her flings with the other guys, raises some eyebrows. Is she really into JJ, or is this about rebelling against her parents or wanting a “fixer-upper” project?
youtube
JJ and Kiara would make a perfect example for a toxic relationship
Kiara's and JJ's core personalities and backgrounds clash in fundamental ways. JJ, with his ADHD-like tendencies, impulsive nature, and carefree, rebellious attitude, often acts without thinking, seeking thrills and living in the moment. This behavior is in stark contrast to Kiara’s strong morals, rule-following disposition, and the disciplined upbringing she received from her wealthy household and good education. While JJ's spontaneity might seem exciting, it conflicts with Kiara’s structured approach to life.
youtube
Kiara is feeding into JJ's insecurities
She tends to be judgmental, especially towards behaviors that deviate from her values, which can make it hard for her to fully understand or accept JJ’s way of coping with his challenges.
JJ grew up in an abusive household with a neglectful and violent father. This messed up his self-esteem, emotional health, and understanding of relationships. He’s conditioned to accept unhealthy dynamics and put others first, often at his own expense.
Kiara, on the other hand, had a cushy, stable upbringing with overprotective parents. This gave her strong convictions and a clear sense of right and wrong but also left her with high expectations and a need to maintain a certain image.
Kiara’s strong will and idealism can sometimes make her judgmental and inflexible, especially toward those who don't see things her way.
youtube
Opposites attract: the more differences, the better the story
She might struggle to fully get the depth of JJ's trauma and how it shapes his behavior. His impulsiveness and reckless behavior, driven by a need to survive his trauma, often clash with Kiara's moral convictions. His actions aren't about seeking admiration but about finding safety and acceptance.
youtube
JJ's and Kiara's values are constantly clashing
JJ’s low self-esteem, need for validation, and history of emotional neglect make him vulnerable to falling into the same victim role he’s known all his life. Kiara’s strong personality and occasional self-righteous streak could unintentionally exploit JJ’s compulsive selflessness and lack of boundaries.
youtube
Is there really more to the chemistry between JJ and Kiara other than just physical attraction?
So, unless JJ takes some serious time for personal growth, gets to know himself and his boundaries, and learns what healthy relationships actually look like, jumping into a romance with Kiara too soon is basically setting himself up to fall right back into the emotional traps he’s trying to escape.
So, what do you think about all this? Would you disagree or do you have another constellation in mind that would suit a character like JJ better (Sarah?). Let me know your thoughts!

the big three of Harley motherfucking Quinn, bitch
Tumblr media
“I made a promise to myself that the next time I got a boyfriend I’d be on the lookout for red flags and if I saw anything I’d do the healthy thing and murder him.”
Here's my take on the (possible) big three of Harley Quinn.
Cancer Sun
Harley just GIVES huge Cancer energy. She's the quintessential ride-or-die kind of person and oh-so-loyal to the Joker. She even adopted a kid in Birds of Prey, remember? AND she defended the kid until the very end. If that isn't big sister/low-key momma bird energy, I don't know what is. She's just super caring and sweet at her core, which made me think of her being a Cancer Sun.
Libra Moon
Now she could be a Libra Moon for two main reasons, I think. One is because she has a literal Ph.D. in psych, and two is because she seems to value relationships A LOT, not just with the Joker but her dad as well. She got into psych so she could understand why her dad had abandoned her, so I'd like to think that her motivation to study was so she could understand why her dad simply left. Libra energy is known to be both intelligent and relationship-oriented, and Harley's character really combines both these attributes really well, which only got me to conclude that our girl has GOTTA be a Libra Moon.
Gemini Rising
Harley's transformation from a straight-laced psychiatrist to her iconic, crazy I-don't-care-who's-looking look (that we all know and love) AND her hair, which is part red and part blue, suggests DUALITY, aka Gemini vibes! Like I couldn't think of anything else. She's great at reading people, great at flirting, can go emotionless and cold when she has to, so it just adds up, don't you think? Side note though, I could def see her having major Uranus influence in her chart like Uranus in the first house or something; she gives that crazy young Miley Cyrus energy too, I feel :p
Harley Quinn, nice to meetcha! Love your perfume! What is that, the stench of death?
Tumblr media
A hugeeee THANK YOU to EVERYbody who have been supporting me and showing love!!
Keep getting bamboozled by the skies and ill see ya :p

1 Minute Analysis of Lydia from BeetleJuice
Lydia's statement, "I myself am strange and unusual," reflects her sense of alienation and self-acceptance. From a therapist's perspective, this is a defense mechanism, where she embraces her uniqueness to shield herself from potential judgment. By owning this identity, Lydia finds empowerment in her difference, transforming perceived isolation into self-defined strength.

Mike D'Angelo: The Unexpected Hero of Until Dawn
Just finished playing Until Dawn again, and I can’t help but talk about Mike! 🌲💔 At first, he seems like your typical jock character, but as the story unfolds, he transforms into one of the most layered and resilient characters in the game.
His leadership when the group faces danger shows just how far he’s willing to go for his friends. Plus, his complex relationship with Jess brings depth to his character—it's heart-wrenching to see what happens as the night goes on 😢.
Mike balances bravery with vulnerability; he has some of the most intense moments in the game, especially during those heart-pounding chase sequences. And can we talk about how he interacts with the supernatural events? His character development is honestly one of the highlights of the experience!
Whether he’s showcasing his resourcefulness or confronting his own fears, Mike proves that sometimes the hero is the one who rises to the occasion—even amidst chaos.
What are your thoughts on him? Did he survive your playthrough? 🎮✨

Eugene Choi is also a contrast and parallel to Suzaku Kururugi:
-Eugene Choi is a son of a family who serve as a slave for a corrupted noble family in his country whereas Suzaku Kururugi is a son of a prime minister of Japan. Eugene Choi killed the noble family to avenge his family while Suzaku Kururugi killed his father to save Nunnally.
-Eugene had no childhood friends whereas Suzaku had childhood friends.
-Both were discriminated by the kind of the country they pledged allegiance to (Suzaku by Britannians in Area 11 and Eugene by Americans in America and Joseon by US and Japan presence).
-Both climbed up to the ranks of the western imperialist nation whose presence are within their former country (Eugene Choi as a US consul for Joseon and Suzaku Kururugi as an Honorary Britannian/Knight of Honor/Knight of Seven in Japan).
-Both fought western imperialist country and Japan (Eugene killed Logan Taylory and fought against US backed Japan while Suzaku fought the Black Knights, JLF, and Japanese resistance and Schneizel's faction aided by Charles' remnants).
-Both are scorned by their homeland and their own kind as traitors while at the same time having complicated motivations to save their own kind (Eugene intervening between the affairs of Joseon and US backed Japan and Suzaku changing Area 11 within)
-Both are feared as famed and ruthless soldiers strong enough to defeat their enemies physically
-Eugene Choi wants to destroy Joseon for killing his family through USA and Suzaku Kururugi wants to enforce Britannian rule upon Area 11 due to the death of Euphemia by the hands of Lelouch (Zero).
-Both have a vendetta against their killers for killing their loved ones (Joseon noble family killing Eugene's family and Lelouch (Zero) killing Euphemia).
-They later fall in love with the daughter of an aristocratic family (Eugene Choi falls in love in Go Ae-shin through opposition and Suzaku Kururugi falls in love with Euphie during his time in Britannia).
-They became what they hate later on (Eugene becomes part of the Korean Righteous Army in the end and Suzaku Kururugi becomes Zero in the end).
-Both met a death in a different way (Eugene sacrifices himself to save his comrades from US backed Japan whereas Suzaku is dead in name and lives as Zero forever through Lelouch's promise forever)
-Euphie died while Suzaku lived and Eugene died while Go Ae-shin lived.
-Eugene became ruthless in the beginning only to change softer and nicer while Suzaku was softer and nicer in the beginning before becoming ruthless later on.

Spotlight on Amalia Selwyn! 💚🎭
My fierce Slytherin Queen, Amalia Selwyn! ✨ Writing her in Price of Pride has been an adventure. She's got so many layers – the ice queen exterior, the vulnerable heart underneath, and that incredible resilience. She's definitely one of those characters who fights for what's right, even if it scares her. What are your favorite traits of hers?

Unraveling the Layers of "The Silence Factory": A Dive into Domestic Horror
I recently finished reading "The Silence Factory" by Bridget Collins. After completing it, I found myself questioning why I enjoyed the book, even though it didn’t always make sense. I realized that it resonates with me because it falls into the category of domestic horror. The story is told from the perspective of a man, which intrigued me as I watched his journey shift from admiration for his boss to the realization that he is a monster. The women around him sense this transformation and react accordingly.
I consider myself a big reader, which might be surprising since I mostly post fan art and fanfiction. However, I do enjoy physical books and audiobooks. This preference is mainly due to chronic pain, which sometimes makes it difficult for me to hold books, causing discomfort and making reading challenging.
As a fan of horror, although I’m not entirely sure why, I tend not to get scared by horror movies. While reading "The Silence Factory," I noted that it is a domestic horror novel that explores the darker aspects of human relationships and the hidden secrets that can lie beneath the surface. The narrative primarily focuses on a man who experiences a significant shift in his perception of someone he initially admired—his boss. As the story unfolds, he realizes that this person he respected may be far more sinister than he appeared. It delves into themes of deception, power dynamics, and the unsettling elements of everyday life, making it an engaging read for fans of psychological horror.
A fundamental aspect of the story is how he often ignores warnings from the women around him, who urge him to be cautious of the men he associates with and encourage him to choose a different path altogether. Despite their advice, he remains focused on not feeling lost, especially since the man they call a monster gave him the gift of silence, as he wanted to escape from any sound that reminded him of his wife and daughter. Some may interpret his actions as sexist, but I view him as someone trying to be helpful after navigating his own struggles. The ending is particularly satisfying, capturing the essence of domestic horror, which is why it has become my favorite subgenre.

The only way to write good characters is to study great ones.
I’ve been thinking about this idea for a long time now. And no time like the present to start analyzing some amazing characters, right?
Studying a character can be boring though, so here’s a quick trick to make it fun: Study a wicked interesting character from your childhood!
The character of focus this week will be…..drum roll please…..🥁Rodrick Heffley, from "Diary of a Wimpy Kid".
Tumblr media
All the juicy details about Rodrick will be dropped shortly. Stay tuned to critically digest this character.
And welcome to our new series: #StudyTheGreats, where we will have fun studying iconic childhood characters.

The Tragedy of Tim Drake: the Robin who imposed himself
Tim Drake’s story isn’t just one of a boy stepping into a legacy, not a fallen one, not a replacement, but a boy who chose to become Robin because he believed in what Robin stood for. He didn’t fall into the mantle: he claimed it. And that, in a world of inherited roles and tragic accidents, already sets him apart.
👨‍👩‍👦 Tim's Family, the Ghosts of His Past Tim Drake was never truly seen by his parents, not until it was almost too late. His father, Jack, was distant, and his mother, who tragically passed away, left a void that Tim tried to fill with his intellect and drive. But what’s more tragic than being neglected as a child is being recognized only when you’ve stopped needing that recognition — when Tim had already begun to build new bonds, to find care and purpose elsewhere. That’s when Jack tried to pull him back. Not because he finally understood him, but because he was afraid of losing what he never properly held.
At that moment, it wasn’t just a father’s jealousy over another man taking his place. It was a father who couldn’t see the child he had neglected, only recognizing Tim when it felt like his identity was being rewritten by someone else.
🦇 A Substitute for Jason, but Never Jason Tim didn’t get the luxury of being the first Robin. He wasn’t a legacy, and his connection to Batman was never formed out of mutual understanding or shared trauma like Dick or Jason. He was a replacement for Jason Todd, whose death had left an unhealed wound in Bruce’s heart. But Tim? He was just another boy with a talent for detective work, another cog in a machine that had already been turned several times before.
And he wasn’t even the Robin Bruce adopted. Not the heart-son that Jason became in life and death — even when Tim was left truly orphaned, and in the most traumatic of ways.
He doesn’t have the history Dick shares with Bruce, and he certainly doesn’t have the bloodline Damian boasts.
🌑 A Usurper to Damian, Always in the Shadow If being a replacement for Jason wasn’t enough, Tim also had to face Damian Wayne — a son of Bruce’s blood, a boy who wasn’t just a Robin by choice but by inheritance. To Damian, Tim wasn’t just another member of the Bat-family; he was a usurper, someone who had been given a place he didn’t deserve. Damian, with all his arrogance and entitlement, made Tim’s position feel fragile at best. There was always this unspoken tension — Damian with his blood right, Tim with his intellectual cunning.
To Damian, Tim was nothing more than the second Robin. A placeholder for Bruce's "real" son. And what makes this even more tragic is how little recognition Tim gets from his own family.
💔 Bruce, the Father Who Can't Love (Enough) But the deepest tragedy lies in Bruce himself. Bruce Wayne loves Tim, there’s no doubt about it, but he doesn’t know how to express it. He doesn’t know how to show it. And Tim, who has spent his whole life being neglected, can’t read Bruce’s affection the way Dick or even Jason could. Unlike those who saw Bruce’s gruffness as a sign of his love, Tim doesn’t have the luxury of knowing that Bruce cares. He has no emotional cushion to protect him from Bruce’s inability to express his feelings, and it leaves him feeling more alone than ever.
He’s the Robin who isn’t needed. He’s the Robin who imposed himself. The one who loved the idea of Robin more than anyone else. And the only one who was never chosen to be Robin.
Maybe that says more about what Robin truly is than any other child who’s worn the mask. Maybe that’s what makes Tim the closest to the spirit of “I Am Robin” — the movement that came after, born from choice, belief, and conviction rather than legacy or blood.
Is it because of all this that Tim has had more emotional development in fandom than in many of his current comic runs? Probably.
And yes — he has beautiful moments of being loved by his family. His coming out is one of them, tender and true and long overdue. He is loved, and well loved, in many stories.
But today, I wanted to sit with the pain. To look at the anguish in his journey. Because that is also Tim Drake. And he deserves to be seen in full.

The Little Prince and Alice Through the Lens of Zodiac Signs: Virgo and Cancer
Have you ever wondered how zodiac traits might manifest in our favorite literary characters? As I daydreamed yesterday, I decided to explore this idea, analyzing the astrological characteristics of two beloved figures. Here’s what emerged from this whimsical experiment!
The Little Prince: The Analytical and Dreamy Virgo
Observant Nature The Little Prince is constantly observing and analyzing the world around him. His thoughtful questions and pursuit of truth resonate deeply with the Virgo archetype.
Constructive Criticism While he notices flaws in others, his approach isn’t harsh but filled with understanding and sadness. Virgos, too, are known for their gentle yet perceptive critique of the world.
Curiosity for Knowledge His interplanetary travels stem from a desire to understand life, a defining characteristic of Virgo's inquisitive and knowledge-seeking nature.
Attention to Detail His devotion to his rose reflects Virgo's trademark care and focus on small but meaningful aspects of life.
Alice in Wonderland: The Dreamy and Adaptable Cancer
Emotional Reactivity Alice’s vivid emotions—crying, anger, and wonder—perfectly embody Cancer's sensitive and emotional temperament.
Boundless Imagination The fantastical journey through Wonderland mirrors Cancer’s powerful capacity for dreaming and imagining.
Nurturing Instinct Despite the absurdity of Wonderland, Alice treats its inhabitants with respect and care, showcasing Cancer's innate kindness.
Yearning for Security While she embraces her adventures, Alice longs to return home, revealing the Cancerian love for comfort and familiarity.
Peter Pan and Wendy: Aquarius Meets Cancer
Peter Pan: The Eternal Dreamer and Free Spirit Aquarius
Independent Spirit Aquarians crave freedom and resist constraints, much like Peter Pan, who refuses to grow up and cherishes the liberties of childhood.
Eccentricity The whimsical world of Neverland, pirate duels, and life with the Lost Boys highlight Peter's Aquarian flair for the unconventional.
Idealism With a visionary mindset, Aquarians prioritize dreams and ideas over practicality. Peter’s belief in the magic of childhood exemplifies this.
Emotional Detachment Although he cares for his friends, Peter maintains emotional distance, particularly with Wendy—a hallmark of Aquarius independence.
Magnetic Leadership Peter’s charisma and unique worldview naturally inspire the Lost Boys, reinforcing his role as a quintessential Aquarian leader.
Wendy: The Caring and Sentimental Cancer
Maternal Care Cancer’s nurturing qualities shine through Wendy, who lovingly assumes the role of a mother for the Lost Boys, providing warmth and guidance.
Emotional Depth Wendy’s heartfelt relationships, especially her unrequited care for Peter, reveal the emotional sensitivity typical of Cancer.
Attachment to Home Despite her adventures, Wendy yearns for her family and the comfort of home, embodying Cancer’s deep ties to security and belonging.
Imaginative Yet Grounded While Cancer thrives in imagination, they remain anchored to reality. Wendy enjoys Neverland’s magic but understands the importance of returning to her real life.
Conclusion: What Connects These Characters?
From The Little Prince to Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan, each character exudes unique zodiac traits, weaving astrological energies into timeless literary works:
The Little Prince reflects Virgo's analytical curiosity.
Alice captures Cancer's emotional dreaminess.
Peter Pan embodies Aquarius' free-spirited eccentricity.
Wendy personifies Cancer’s nurturing sensitivity.
Each of these characters offers a fascinating blend of zodiac archetypes, reminding us that astrology’s timeless wisdom can be found even in the world of fiction.
