I saw this film in early December, and it took several days for me to fully process what I had experienced. I am still astonished by HOW Ava was able to adapt Pulitzer Prize-winning author @isabelwilkerson 's book "Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents" into a cinematic masterpiece. I AM STILL BLOWN AWAY by the always brilliant @aunjanue_ellis447 's incredible performance as Wilkerson - she deserves every single accolade!

Ava will be doing in person Q&A sessions at select NYC screenings: Today (Jan. 19), 6:00 PM AMC Lincoln Square; 7:45 PM AMC Magic Johnson Harlem; Tomorrow (Jan. 20) 2:30 PM AMC Lincoln Square; 4:15 PM & 7:20PM Angelika Film Center.
