One of the more interesting developments I’ve noticed on YouTube over the past year is what appears to be a subtle shift in its algorithm, more specifically in its recommended videos section. I can’t recall when exactly it started, but up to a certain point, I realized that the site was recommending me random videos that were uploaded either hours or literal minutes before I found them. I think the first one I explicitly recalled seeing was an archive of a failed livestream that was the broadcast of an empty front patio of some church located out in the midwest. Not long after that was Green Acres, a lengthy video where a cheery elderly woman talked about finding a set of lawn chairs in an open field before she then went on to talk about a lonely village where the people only ate cow brains. Another was a man with a deathly serious expression showing a VHS cassette for a 1990s direct-to-video children’s film while remaining uncomfortably silent. After a point though, the videos went from general uploads to being solely music-focused, specifically the auto-generated uploads YouTube would do if an artist put out their album through a label or services like DistroKid. These uploads varied in quality as you’d expect: Some were uncanny lo-fi outsider music gems, a few were hyped-up Turkish pop anthems that sounded like something straight from Final Fantasy, one was a piano ballad about seagulls that would no doubt underscore a shock site video if it was conceived back in the mid-2000s, and a bunch were the clear outcome of someone’s yacht rock-loving dad going “We should make an album!”. Just yesterday, I was recommended a bit of an unusual outlier. A four-track percussive noise album by an artist named after Max Ernst’s LopLop alter ego. Just about all the track titles appear to be gibberish with the exception of the last song, which is the scrambled phonetic pronunciation of “Decapitated Cow Water Dispenser, Wuhan Wai I Shang” in simplified Chinese. I’ve tried to find any information on the artist, and I’ve come up with nothing. There was a French noise artist named LopLop, but they haven’t been active since 2014. I looked up the album, and beyond the YouTube upload and a Spotify page (which was likely also auto-generated), I couldn’t find anything. I thought maybe I could at least reverse-image search the album cover. Nothing, again. It’s just by dumb luck that through YouTube’s near-random selections I was even directed to this album a literal day or two after it was released, and I remain one of the only 20-something people who’ve ever heard it. Congrats to me I guess, I hope it wasn’t A.I. generated.

Insights and Trends in the Global Industrial Packaging Market: Growth, Challenges, and Opportunities

Industrial Packaging: The Evolution of Packaging Materials Over the Years In Transportation Packaging Material Types: Paper, Plastic, Metal and Woven Sacks Paper has been one of the most widely used packaging materials for industrial products. Kraft paper and corrugated cardboard boxes are versatile materials that provide protection and allow easy printing of product information and branding. Their recyclable nature is also environment friendly. However, paper has limitations when it comes to moisture resistance and durability. Plastics like polyethylene, polypropylene and PET have gained substantial popularity in the past few decades. Rigid plastics effectively protect products from damage and moisture. They are lightweight and inexpensive. Flexible plastics in the form of bags, pouches and wraps mold well to products and reduce wastage of materials during packaging. Thermoformed plastic trays provide robust tamper-evident packaging solutions. However, different types of plastics require proper disposal methods as most are not bio-degradable. Metals like steel and aluminum sheets are especially suitable for harsh industrial environments. Metal drums, pails and cans resist dents and offer excellent barrier properties. Their recyclability is also an advantage. Nonetheless, metals add heaviness and rigidity that increases transportation costs. Woven sacks made from polypropylene or jute fibers are sturdy and cost-effective packs for granular, powdered or small parts. Rotomolding technology permits adding plastic liners inside bags to enhance moisture resistance. However, sacks are bulkier to handle and store compared to boxes or rigid containers. Packaging Machinery Automating Industrial Packaging Lines Automated packaging lines with machinery like filling machines, cartoners, wrapper, shrinkwrappers, palletizers and stretchwrappers have elevated production efficiencies. Robotic arms precisely place andassemble cartons. Volumetric filling technologies accurately dispense liquids and solids. Checkweighers maintain product weight uniformity. Centralized HMI systems monitor performance across all machines. Mobile and stationary stretch wrapping machines securely unitize packed loads for shipping. Automatic palletizers arrange boxes onto pallets at high speeds to optimize truck trailer space. Integrating digital printers onto lines customizes cartons with variable product/packaging details. Auto code date-printers track freshness and recalls/replenishments. Sophisticated vision systems verify codes, dates and package integrity. Barcode Scanning Enhancing Warehousing and Distribution Barcode scanning is integral to material management of inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods. Pallet tags and carton labels are scanned at each stage to update inventory levels and locations in warehouse management systems. Item IDs, quantities, production dates etc. are captured in databases for reports, shipments and traceability needs. Voice-directed picking via barcode scanners accurately directs warehouse workers to replenish materials across manufacturing and assembly lines. Scanners also guide put-away of finished goods while optimizing storage space utilization. During order fulfillment, scanners confirm orders are complete and accurate before dispatch. Two-dimensional barcodes like QR codes enable linking packaging to digital product brochures, instructions or assemblies online.

Best Practice To Wash and Bleach Most Whites
How To Wash White Sheets, Towels, and Socks
Collect white towels, sheets, and socks that can tolerate hot washing. If you're not sure, examine the labels. Utilize the hottest temperature setting according to the care labels. Change your water level for the proper volume, and set the machine for a regular wash.
If you have a dryer, dry all of these products on high heat, or dry the sheets separately with mesh laundry bags if you don't want excess lint on them.
How to Wash Regular Whites
Groups your whites (labeled for warm-water) together. For example, a cotton shirt and a rayon blouse can be cleaned at the exact same time. Utilize laundry bags for better protection against rubbing, twisting or torn during wash. Use a warm, regular setting, or your machine's gentle setting. Get a cleaning agent that can fight spots and the one with added enzymes that effectively get rid of the toughest stains and also the one that particularly doing a great job protecting your colors and helping to lighten up white clothes. If you have a dryer, use high settings for cotton, and synthetics on medium or low settings. Additionally, you can position them completely in the dryer and take the synthetics out as quickly as they are dry, you can also effortlessly doing this by group them separately with Aurflo mesh laundry bags.
How to Bleach Clothes
Before you toss away or donate your clothes, follow the suggestion below on how to utilize bleach to refresh faded clothes in the wash. The very first time you utilize bleach on a product, it's best to do a spot test in a hidden area, like the inside of a collar to make sure it's safe.
We suggest soaking your product before washing it if it's heavily soiled or stained. However it's worth keeping in mind that a lot of whites if washed often, do not need to be pre-soaked. If you still want to pre-soak, check your machine, many have a pre-soak cycle you can pick.
Add bleach separately to your washer's timed bleach dispenser, then run your wash cycle as usual. If you're utilizing a color-safe or all-fabric bleach, you can add it at the start of the cycle according to the manufacturer's guidelines. For liquid chlorine bleach, add the amount advised by the manufacturer through the machine's detergent dispenser 5 minutes into the cycle. Chlorine bleach gets added five minutes into the cycle in order to provide the enzymes in your cleaning agent a chance to eliminate stains. If you add chlorine bleach at the beginning and it kills the cleaning agent's enzymes before they have a chance to work. After that dry your item as normal.
How To Wash Delicate Whites
Gather delicate white items, such as sheer blouses, t-shirts, or undergarments. You can organize those more quickly by using laundry wash bags like Aurflo Laundry Wash Bags before or after washing and drying.
Check the fabric care tags to see how to wash white delicates and make sure the products are washable. Make sure whether machine or hand washing is recommended, as well as the recommended wash temperature and drying method. You can clean most delicate whites in cold water. Change the water level, and use a mild or delicate setting.
Hand-wash delicate or items particularly labeled "hand-wash only." Dilute a small amount of liquid detergent in a tub, container, or sink filled with cold water, and then rinse your clothing under running water.
Dry delicates on low settings or by hanging them dry. Don’t forget to check the labels for drying guidelines.
Guide to Prevent White Clothing From Fading
A. Always separate white and colored clothes.
Sure, this seems apparent, but it truly makes a difference, If you wash lights and whites together, keep the color from mixing with your whites. Having laundry mesh bags helps organize and separate your laundry easily.
B. Select a laundry detergent that contains bleach.
Or bleach options. These items normally get whites whiter during the washing cycle.
C. Bleach items regularly.
Even if you can't see them, invisible body soils and perspiration can turn white materials gray or yellow gradually. You need to clean them out before they build-up. Try to wash them every one to two years.
D. Handle stains as soon as possible.
You can simply spots food stains like ketchup or coffee, but things that you can't see, like sweat marks, need to be treated to prevent build-up. To do this, rub a full-strength liquid enzyme laundry detergent on the underarm area, then let your shirt sit 15 minutes prior to throwing it into the wash.
E. Measuring your detergent with accuracy.
Overuse or underuse of detergent can leave fabrics dull and run down. That's due to the fact that suds cushion materials and dirt, stains get trapped and don't get washed away as they should. So simply follow the guidelines on the bottle.
F. Use the safest hot water level for your fabric.
The hotter the water, the more bacteria you kill. Greater temperature also removes more soil, which is what causes white products to fade gradually. To prevent shrinkage and damage to clothing, double-check the care label to simply see how hot you can go for your clothes.
G. Leave some room for your washing machine to work properly, don’t overload.
Typically when there's space on top it's hard to withstand throwing in a couple more clothes, but you need to resist doing that because clothes need room to get clean. If you fill your tub to the top, there isn't enough room for the cleaning agent to engage with soils and provide optimum cleaning performance.
H. Don’t over-dry your clothes.
Over-drying will make your clothes look more worn over time, so choose your setting according to the label. Another option is to utilize the auto-cycle so the clothes dryer stops when it senses the clothes is dry, not just when the time is up.

The Artist’s Abilities
Monthly Prompts Day 14
August 14th - Latte
AU Used: Coffee Shop AU and Modern AU
Characters: Butchy (Teen Beach Movie) and Makana “Mick” Birch (OC)
Notes: The idea for this is based off of how my parents met. I think it’s cute!
Five months, one week and three days; that was how long Mick had been working the overnight shift at Leaves and Beans Cafe. She knew all of the bikers and truck drivers that came in by name already. Most of them only stopped in for a donut or two and some coffee, but, then again, she always kept it fresh just for them and they admired that. According to many of them, the last person who had the overnight shift was a boy who “couldn’t tell his ass from his elbow” and didn’t know how to change the filters. Once or twice a night, a few of the local police would stop by for some coffee and to check in on Mick as she was the only one there from six at night until six the next morning.
Over all, Mick really liked her job.
Now and then, a few stoners would come in, high as a kite, trying to use ticket from the nearby arcade to pay for their midnight munchies. The funniest one Mick remembered was when Officer Martinez had been sitting behind the counter, playing cards with Mick when a very intoxicated woman stumbled into the shop, slapping a crumpled and tattered Monopoly dollar on the counter, insisting that it was her normal form of currency. One charge of public intoxication later, the woman was banned from the store until six months after her release from prison. Mick wasn’t exactly sure what part of that night she liked most.
Mick’s favorite night, however, was about four months into her job at the cafe. That night, a mechanic from an auto repair shop across the street stopped in. The man had never come in during Mick’s night shift before but he seemed nice enough. He seemed fairly shy at first, simply asking for a coffee, black, with a breakfast sandwich as he was going to be at work for another three or four hours and didn’t have another break to go on. It was already after midnight that night, so Mick threw in another sandwich that she decided to pay for and an energy shot that she had brought from home.
She could make it through the night no problem if she made herself some espresso later on, but this guy looked exhausted already and would need some form of a pick-me-up.
The next time he stopped by, she greeted him with civility as though she’d known him for a while. The mechanic only asked for a coffee, this time adding in a double shot of espresso. He gave her an extra three dollars from what he had to pay, leaving before she got the chance to stop him. It was a simple payback for the energy shot and sandwich she had given him the first time.
Over the next two weeks, he stopped in only when he knew she had next to nobody in the shop. After his fifth visit, Mick confronted her coworkers about the man. Nobody in the cafe knew his name, but a girl from the morning shift, an old classmate of Mick’s named Johanna, claimed that he stopped in to get a coffee every now and then, but when the place was next to empty, he would order a latte with quadruple espresso and a bacon breakfast sandwich.
When the man came in again, she asked if he had ever signed up for their savings card. He told her no and that nobody had ever told him there was one. Mick responded with the fact that, if he ordered any coffees, teas, or lattes, it would get stamped and, after fifteen stamps, he’d get a free drink of his choice. All she needed was his name for the card as she had plenty of truckers, bikers and cops in the card system already.
The man agreed to sign up, taking a piece of paper from Mick and signing his name on it so she could put it into the computer and give him his card. Once it printed out, she applied five stamps to it and handed it back to the man that she now knew as Butchy.
After three more weeks and fourteen stamps had accumulated on Butchy’s card, Mick waited until the clock neared the time Butchy had chosen as the time he would always stop in. She started up the espresso machine, ground up the beans and stamped them, preparing a quadruple espresso while she waited for the milk to be ready. She glanced at the clock, seeing just three minutes left before the door would open and Butchy would be in to get his drink.
Mick smiled as she poured the milk into the cup with the espresso, picking up a toothpick from the counter and going to work on something simple for her newest friend. She took a couple napkins from the nearby dispenser, scrawling out a message for Butchy as quickly as she could. Mick took one last look at the clock, seeing the familiar shine of Butchy’s motorcycle’s headlights as he pulled up outside and she ducked into the back room to start on the next batch of sandwiches that the one o’clock truckers would ask for.
Mick heard the front door open and close with a chime and listened as Butchy called out for her from the other room, yet she continued on working, deciding that she would hear from him sooner or later. Mick hummed along to the radio as she cooked up some sausage patties. After about five minutes, she heard the door open and close once more.
She peeked out the small window that lead from the kitchen to the main area, but nobody was there apart from herself and the guy on an advertisement for a sugar-filled soda they sold out of a cooler by the door. Mick finished the sandwiches after she made a dozen of them, wrapping them and labelling them so she could leave them on the counter for the truckers that would come in soon. As Mick placed the tray of food on the counter by the register, she noticed that the napkin and drink were gone.
With a sigh, she realized Butchy either didn’t notice the note or had probably thrown it out. She knew better; he was a handsome man and the chances of him being single were slim. If he had a girlfriend, good for them. A minute later, a set of bright headlights shone into the store, the rumble of an engine following soon after as the motorcycle it belonged to pulled away from the shop.
*ping ping*
Mick took up her phone from where she had left it by the espresso machine, seeing a new message from an unknown number.
“Thank you for the artwork on my latte. How did you know how I like it? And how did you draw that in the foam? I had no idea you could see the emblem on my bike from inside the shop, but I guess without the headlights, it’s easier to see it. You’re quite the artist, either way. Maybe we could go on a date to an art gallery or something. If you’re up for it, let me know and we can figure it out next time I stop in. If not, just ignore me and I’ll take the hint, ok? All the best, Butchy.”
For the longest time after that, Mick had a hard time wiping her smile off of her face.

Consider the Alternatives
Alternative Fueled Vehicles and Alternative Vehicle Fuels
Driving a car fueled by something other than gasoline or diesel benzine is no longer the objects of proficiency fiction. In addition to conventional gas and diesel fuel, reformulated - cleaner - benzine and alternatives fuels now are sold in lots parts of the country. Alternative fuels such as methanol, ethanol, compressed natural gas, liquefied benzine gas, and electricity group fewer tail pipette pollutants than conventional gasoline and diesel fuel. Using them could improve our air quality.
In 1992, Congress passed the Energy Policy Act to promote the use of chance fuels. For example, the regulation requires owners of flotilla medium to purchase a certain sum of alternative fueled vehicles. Congress also directed the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to issue tagging poverty for possibility fuels and variety fueled vehicles. Two FTC Rules - the Alternative Fuels and Vehicles (AFV) Rule and the Fuel Rating Rule - require benzine dispensers and possibility fueled stipulation to be labeled with idiot to help consumers type knowledgeable determination when it comes to filling up or buying a vehicle. The AFV Rule applies to new and used option fueled medium that are sold to consumers or leased to consumers for a minimum of 120 days.
This Article explains the labels you'll see on election fueled means and election fuel dispensers, and suggests several important agent to consider as you investigate the options.
Alternative Fueled Vehicles:
AFVs are stipulation that operate on feasibility fuels, such as methanol, ethanol, compressed natural gas, liquefied gas gas, electricity, and others designated by the U.S. Department of Energy. Some AFVs can run on conventional fuels, such as gasoline, and chance fuels. They are called dual-fueled vehicles.
The required labels must be placed in plain probability on the surface of all new and used AFVs. The labels on new AFVs must include the vehicle's cruising stand as estimated by the manufacturer and its environmental impact, as well as general descriptive information. It's important to know how many miles your new AFV evidence travel on a supply of benzine because, gallon for gallon, some AFVs don't travel as far as gasoline-powered vehicles. The label's description of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) emission standard for the provision tells you to what extent the medium yield emissions. If a medium meets an EPA emanation standard, a bins on the tab will be marked and a caret (^) evidence be placed above the particular vehicle's accreditation standard. The bill shows the levels of emanation poster in a design of hit that stand from a "Tier l" media - one with more emission - to a "ZEV" - a zero emanation vehicle.
The labels on new and used AFVs also advise consumers to consider the following article before buying or renting an AFV.
Fuel type. Ask what stripes of gas ability the vehicle. Operating costs. Fuel and maintenance costs for AFVs may differ from gasoline or diesel-fueled vehicles.
Performance/convenience. Vehicles powered by different fuels vary in their function to start when they are cold; their acceleration rates; the time it take to completely refill the vehicle's tank; and how they are refueled. Fuel availability. Find out whether refueling or recharging tools are available in your area for the gas the medium uses.
Energy security/renewability. Consider where and how the benzine powering the vehicle is produced so you can anticipate long-term fuel attainability at a reasonable price.
These labels also must include additional sources of dope from the federal government: The Department of Energy maintains a toll-free National Alternative Fuels Hotline to answer controversy approx possibility fuels, give dope closely the frankness of election fuels in a particular area, and suggest more sources of information closely option fuels and election fueled vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's toll-free hotline offers dope closely shelter related auto issues.
In addition, because all instrument affect the environment directly (tailpipe emissions) and indirectly (how the fuel is produced and brought to market), the labels on used AFVs advise consumers to compare the environmental costs of driving an AFV to driving a gasoline-powered vehicle.
Alternative Fuels
Among the fuels covered by the Fuel Rating Rule and the Alternative Fuels and Vehicles Rule are methanol, ethanol, natural gas, liquefied gas gases, hydrogen, coal derived liquid fuels, and electricity. For example, methanol is an odorless, clear liquid produced from natural gas, coal, or biomass resources, such as group and forest residues. It usually is sold as a mixtures of 85 percent methanol and 15 percent gasoline. Ethanol, a liquid produced from grain or agricultural waste, usually is sold as a jumble of 85 percent denatured ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.
The labels for these fuels are orange to distinguish them from benzine octane labels, which are yellow. They must be placed on the benzine dispenser so that they are fully visible to consumers.
Gasoline labels tell you the octane rating. Alternative gasoline labels describe the gas and its ctrl component(s). The classification for an options fuel - other than electricity - is the commonly used name of the gas and the count of its principal component, expressed as a minimum percentage. For electric food gas administering systems, the benzine classification is a common identifier - such as electricity - and the system's kilowatt capacity, voltage, whether the voltage is alternating or direct current, amperage, and whether the outline is conductive or inductive.
Consider the Alternatives
Why consider substituting to possibility fueled medium or feasibility fuels? According to the Department of Energy, emissions from the 200 million car and truck on U.S. path - mostly hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and duplicate monoxide - report for about 50 percent of all clue pollution and more than 80 percent of urban clue pollution. Driving variety fueled media could reduce the layer of medium emissions, and pilfering domestically produced election fuels - instead of imported oil - could help reduce the traffic deficit, create jobs, and promote economic activity.
At the same time, you should be aware that some alternatives fuels have a lower determination component than gasoline. On a gallon for gallon basis, some do not allow consumers to travel as many miles as they could in a measure powered with fuel or diesel fuel. In addition, an AFV may award more than a comparable gasoline-powered vehicle.

In this dispensation of interconnected systems, it is utterly crucial that every asset, every document and every information is kept as far as possible from prying eyes and ears. What makes this worse is that there is a burgeoning number of these unsavory eyes and ears and keeping them off your systems is getting harder and trickier every waking day. So what to do? Innovation from good minds in our world have come up with solutions that can at least ward them off as well as making their efforts harder. Teleport is one of these solutions and we shall descend into an elaborate disquisition about it in this brief guide. Gravitational Teleport is a gateway for managing access to clusters of Linux servers via SSH or the Kubernetes API. It is intended to be used instead of traditional OpenSSH for organizations that need to: Source: Teleport Documentation Secure their infrastructure and comply with security best-practices and regulatory requirements. Have complete visibility into activity happening across their infrastructure. Reduce the operational overhead of privileged access management across both traditional and cloud-native infrastructure. Comprehensive Features of Teleport Teleport offers impressive new features that traditional administrators and developers are going to enjoy. They inlude: Single SSH/Kubernetes access gateway for an entire organization. SSH certificate based authentication instead of static keys. Avoid key distribution and trust on first use issues by using auto-expiring keys signed by a cluster certificate authority (CA). Enforce 2nd factor authentication. Connect to clusters located behind firewalls without direct Internet access via SSH bastions. Collaboratively troubleshoot issues through session sharing. Discover online servers and Docker containers within a cluster with dynamic node labels. A single tool (“pane of glass”) to manage RBAC for both SSH and Kubernetes. Audit log with session recording/replay. Kubernetes audit log, including the recording of interactive commands executed via kubectl. Ability to run in “agentless” mode, i.e. most Teleport features are available on clusters with pre-existing SSH daemons, usually sshd. Adapted from Teleport official website, Teleport comes as three binaries: the teleport daemon, the tsh client, and the tctl administration tool. They are dependency-free, written in a compiled language, and run on any UNIX-compatible operating system, such as Linux, FreeBSD, or macOS. Teleport is open source under the Apache 2 license and the source code is available on Github. Teleport is easy to deploy. It is a traditional Linux daemon similar to sshd and usually runs as a systemd service. Installation of Teleport Tool Teleport core service teleport and admin tool tctl have been designed to run on Linux and Mac operating systems. The Teleport user client tsh and UI are available for Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems. Install Teleport on Linux The following examples install the 64-bit version of Teleport binaries, but 32-bit (i386) and ARM binaries are also available. Check the Latest Release page for the most up-to-date information. Install from the tarball curl -O https://get.gravitational.com/teleport-v5.0.0-linux-amd64-bin.tar.gz tar -xzf teleport-v5.0.0-linux-amd64-bin.tar.gz cd teleport sudo ./install Teleport binaries have been copied to /usr/local/bin Configure teleport SystemD service We can take advantage of systemd to manage teleport’s lifecycle processes such as starting and stopping the service. Create teleport systemd service thus: $ sudo vim /etc/systemd/system/teleport.service [Unit] Description=Teleport SSH Service After=network.target [Service] Type=simple Restart=on-failure EnvironmentFile=-/etc/default/teleport ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/teleport start --pid-file=/run/teleport.pid ExecReload=/bin/kill -HUP $MAINPID PIDFile=/run/teleport.pid LimitNOFILE=8192 [Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target Then reload the daemon, start and enable the service sudo systemctl daemon-reload sudo systemctl start teleport sudo systemctl enable teleport You can check its status to confirm that everything was started without any fuss $ sudo systemctl status teleport ● teleport.service - Teleport SSH Service Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/teleport.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled) Active: active (running) since Mon 2020-12-14 07:31:33 UTC; 1h 2min ago Main PID: 2053 (teleport) Tasks: 9 (limit: 11004) Memory: 35.0M CGroup: /system.slice/teleport.service └─2053 /usr/local/bin/teleport start --pid-file=/run/teleport.pid Dec 14 07:31:35 centos8.localdomain teleport[2053]: [NODE] Service 5.0.0:v5.0.0-0-gac4971801 is starting on 0.0.0.0:3022. Install on CentOS from RPM Repository If you are on CentOS, you can use the following in case you do not like the tarball installation method sudo yum-config-manager --add-repo https://rpm.releases.teleport.dev/teleport.repo sudo yum install teleport -y Install on Debian Ubuntu from .deb Package If you are on Debian based system, you can use the following in case you do not like the tarball installation method $ curl https://get.gravitational.com/teleport_5.0.0_amd64.deb.sha256 $ curl -O https://get.gravitational.com/teleport_5.0.0_amd64.deb $ sha256sum teleport_5.0.0_amd64.deb # Verify that the checksums match $ sudo dpkg -i teleport_5.0.0_amd64.deb $ which teleport /usr/local/bin/teleport Install Teleport on macOS Thanks to Homebrew, telport can be installed easily on macOS as follows: $ brew install teleport How To Configure Teleport When setting up Teleport, its developers team recommends running it with Teleport’s YAML configuration file as shown below: $ sudo nano /etc/teleport.yaml teleport: data_dir: /var/lib/teleport auth_service: enabled: true cluster_name: "teleport-quickstart" listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3025 tokens: - proxy,node,app:f7adb7ccdf04037bcd2b52ec6010fd6f0caec94ba190b765 public_addr: 172.20.192.38:3025 ssh_service: enabled: true labels: env: staging app_service: enabled: true debug_app: true proxy_service: enabled: true listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3023 web_listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3080 tunnel_listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3024 public_addr: 172.20.192.38:3080 From the configuration above, you will notice the directory teleport data will be kept (/var/lib/teleport). In order for everything to work properly, we have to give that directory requisite permissions so that teleport and tctl can be able to read and write. To accomplish that, run the following command sudo chmod 755 -R /var/lib/teleport/ After updating the configuration file, we will need to open the requisite ports defined in the file as follows ##On CentOS sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=3023,3080,3024,3025/tcp sudo firewall-cmd --reload ##On Ubuntu sudo ufw allow 3023,3080,3024,3025/tcp Configure secure https with Self-singed Certificates Teleport uses secure https. If you have certificates, you can add them at the end of teleport’s configuration file. For this example, we shall setup a self-signed certificate for our use. Proceed to create it like this: sudo openssl req -x509 -nodes -days 365 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout /etc/pki/tls/private/teleport2.key -out /etc/pki/tls/certs/teleport2.crt This will proceed to ask you some questions as shown below. Enter the right ones for your environment. If you do not have DNS, you can add your domain names under /etc/hosts in your servers
----- Country Name (2 letter code) [XX]:KE State or Province Name (full name) []:Nairobi Locality Name (eg, city) [Default City]:Nairobi Organization Name (eg, company) [Default Company Ltd]:computingforgeeks Organizational Unit Name (eg, section) []:IT Common Name (eg, your name or your server's hostname) []:teleport.computingforgeeks.com Email Address []:[email protected] After this, update your configuration file with the certificates as shown below teleport: data_dir: /var/lib/teleport auth_service: enabled: true cluster_name: "teleport-quickstart" listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3025 tokens: - proxy,node,app:f7adb7ccdf04037bcd2b52ec6010fd6f0caec94ba190b765 public_addr: 172.20.192.38:3025 ssh_service: enabled: true labels: env: staging app_service: enabled: true debug_app: true proxy_service: enabled: true listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3023 web_listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3080 tunnel_listen_addr: 0.0.0.0:3024 ##Updated/added part of this configuration public_addr: 172.20.192.38:3080 https_keypairs: - key_file: /etc/pki/tls/private/teleport2.key cert_file: /etc/pki/tls/certs/teleport2.crt Then restart teleport sudo systemctl restart teleport At this stage, you can be able to access Teleport Web UI at: “https://IP-or-Domain-Name:3080“. Simply open up your favorite browser and point it to your server at the specified port (3080). You should see: But as you will notice, we do not have any users to be able to log into the application. We shall therefore tackle that next. Create a Teleport user Just like any other authentication service, teleport requires users and their credentials in order for them to log in and use the servers that are under its protection. Something to note, Teleport will always enforce the use of 2-factor authentication by default. It supports one-time passwords (OTP) and hardware tokens (U2F). This quick start will use OTP – you’ll need an OTP-compatible app which can scan a QR code. If you do not have the permission to create new users on the Linux host, run tctl users add teleport $(whoami) to explicitly allow Teleport to authenticate as the user that you are currently logged in as. tctl users add geeks-admin root User geeks-admin has been created but requires a password. Share this URL with the user to complete user setup, link is valid for 1h0m0s: https://teleport.computingforgeeks.com:3080/web/invite/2ef0091feea7fea0a210f53a1d8751d3 NOTE: Make sure centos8.localdomain:3080 points at a Teleport proxy which users can access. The users that you specify (such as root in our example) must exist! What this means is that, geeks-admin will be able to log into the servers in Teleport cluster servers as root. After the command runs, you will see the message it presents on the shell. Copy the url it has provided and continue to setup the new user: “https://teleport.computingforgeeks.com:3080/web/invite/2ef0091feea7fea0a210f53a1d8751d3“ Once you visit the url on your browser, you will meet a new login page with a QR Code as shown above. In order for you to set up a new user, we recommend using Google Authenticator App from Play Store. Download it and install from play store as shared on the screenshots below. Once it is downloaded and installed, open it then choose, “Scan a QR code”. This will open up your camera. Position your camera to read the QR Code and you will see a code presented on your phone. This is the “Two Factor Token” on the Teleport Login page. Enter a new password for the user then the code on your phone under “Two Factor Token” then click “Create Account“. If all goes well, the new user will be ushered into the dashboard as illustrated below: Amazing stuff right! Adding a node to teleport cluster When you set up Teleport earlier, we configured a strong static token for nodes and apps in the teleport.yaml file. Adding nodes to be part of the cluster is now fairly easy.
We are going to use this token in this step. First, install Teleport on the target node, then start it using a command as shown below. $ sudo teleport start --roles=node \ --token=f7adb7ccdf04037bcd2b52ec6010fd6f0caec94ba190b765 \ --auth-server=teleport.computingforgeeks.com:3025 [NODE] Service 5.0.0:v5.0.0-0-gac4971801 is starting on 0.0.0.0:3022. Review and update auth-server, app-name and app-uri before running this command. In case you get the error below, delete /var/lib/teleport folder on the node you are trying to add to the cluster and re-run the command above again. Node failed to establish connection to cluster: Get "https://172.20.192.38:3025/v1/webapi/find": x509: certificate signed by unknown authority. time/sleep.go:148 When you log back into the Teleport Web-UI, you should be able to see the second node on the list of servers as shown below Logging into the servers via Teleport Web-UI You can access the terminal of your servers very easily while on your web interface. You simply have to click on the “Connect” button, then choose the right user that will connect to the server. This will allow you to SSH into the server and access the terminal as the user you will choose. Since we only added root user in this example, we shall click on it And the browser will open a new tab and usher us in. Concluding Remarks If you have managed to reach this far, then you are amazing. Teleport is one promising project that inco-operates all of the security features you always envy to have in your environment. Not only does it service servers but also manages Kubernetes clusters and much more. Check it out at Teleport Page and enjoy.

A bright and colorful label can attract more customers than a pale or dull color. Being a business person you must apply the best marketing tips in the business, that is to decorate your product with the most attractive label. An interesting visual appeal can drive in the most customers for your business.
A good labeling or decorating machine can make your product labels attractive, catchy, and clear as well. This machine can enhance your sales and bring more profit to your business. It can save a lot of your time and money.

The labeling or decorating machine will print and paste the labels on the finished containers, products, bottles, vials, ampoules, etc. These are also called labelers, since they paste the ready-made labels on the container, just with a little pressure by the machine.
If the same process is carried out manually, it will be a time-consuming task. In the case of bulk labeling, this machine will save a lot of time and get the task done right on time.
Labeling machines are also used in consumer durable industries such as pharmaceutical industries, and other packaging industries as well. The fully automatic and advanced features of labeling machines will make your labeling task easier, hygienic, clean, and professional.
The labeling task is carried out in a predetermined time frame along with the highest precision. You can even choose the labels from a huge variety of labels. You can pick the label that goes with your brand image and the product. There are many other machines that a high production industry works on, such as recycling machines.
If you are planning to purchase a labeling machine, you must make a note of all the requirements and should purchase a machine that can fulfill all your label requirements. The machine you are selecting should be suited for all the possible operations in your industry.
Labeling machines are an integral part of cosmetics, beverages, food, chemicals, pharmaceutical, agriculture, and electronics industry, etc. Labels carry the most important information that is manufacturing date, features, ingredients in the product, and quantity information.
Generally, the machines have an inbuilt system for flat, oval, square, and cylindrical containers. The machines also have an auto-reject facility in case of overprint and bar code faults.
Why use labeling machines in your industry?
Labeling or decorating machines can label bulk products without causing any error. The same work can take a long time and may have errors if approached manually.
If you are hiring employees for the labeling task, it will cost you a lot of money, while a labeling machine can do the same work in less time and it is a one-time investment.
Functions of different types of labelers:
· Bottle labeler: A bottle labeler has self-adhesive stickers that are sticked on the targeted part of the bottle. This can make your bottle labeling easy work. Many industries also prefer to have an inspection machine device to test the measurement devices.
· Ampoule labeler: Ampoule labeler will lessen your stress of labeling a bottle. The bottle labeling machine works as a fully-automatic machine and it can work at high speed, in-turn, reducing the time.
A sticker labeling machine is easy to operate and can be used to label bottles of different shapes and sizes at a much faster pace. These label machines consist of label dispensing which is supported by the advanced and the latest microprocessor.
It also has the latest sensing system for products and labels. Because of the advanced technology, these labeling machines can attract 150 to 120 units per minute. The machine is constructed of stainless steel and compact in size.
· Based on the different industry types, labeling machines with various sizes, vessels, or container shapes are used. It depends on the application and the container size. Semi-automatic labeling machines are used in small-scale industries for labeling on bottles, round vials, etc.
On the other hand, fully- automatic machines are used for labeling back or front sizes of square, oval, or plane-shaped products. A vial sticker labeling machine, a high-speed machine is used to apply labels on ampoules, vials, and other containers. Security labeling machines are used as label applicators and hologram applicators.
It is installed on the existing packaging line conveyors. These machines are often used along with injection molding machines. Where a large volume of containers are produced and then labeled.
Labeling and decorating machines are low maintenance, durable, and can be more effective as compared to the other machines. If you are looking for an efficient working labeling machine for your company, then make sure to buy it depending on your industry's requirements.

cw for bad words. seriously. also this is just mostly disconnected thoughts, not really arguing for or against a particular theory of words.
this is going to get tedious as hell if i have to obliquely reference a bunch of taboo words, so I am going to dispense with circumlocutions like “f-word.”
I think I get the core impulse behind taboo language: words can have intense affective context, especially if they are used in a certain way. “Tranny,” for instance, has longstanding use as a shortening of “transmission” (as in auto transmission), but someone unfamiliar with that context who is familiar with its use as a porn category label or derogatory/objectifying label for trans people might run across it and experience a brief moment of shock: for them, the word is only associated with a very specific attitude toward trans people, one either dismissive of their humanity or outright contemptuous, and often deliberately wielded as a weapon. It’s the kind of thing that gets hissed at someone in public, meant to shock and wound them.
But--and this is very interesting to me--the word “asshole” gets used in the exact same way! Clearly intent to shock and appall is not enough to make a word taboo. Some of this is political; racial slurs became much more taboo among white Americans as attitudes on race shifted in the 20th century, but it was always clear that directly addressing someone with them was intended to make them uncomfortable, if not outright fearful. And maybe some of this is about an aura of violence: the kind of person who might use racial slurs to a stranger is the kind of person who might (or who might want them to think that they would) use violence against a stranger. But “asshole” is used often enough that it’s merely aggressive. “You ugly piece of shit, I’ll gut you like a fish” maybe--arguably--doesn’t have the immediate threat of violence in many contexts unless the person saying it is coming at you aggressively and/or holding a weapon.
Yet violence can’t be the core of taboo language, nor politics. “Fuck” was totally taboo, the absolute Worst Word for a long time in at least some registers of English despite being a totally apolitical and very ancient word for sexual intercourse, and one that can be used with no connotations of violence. Sure, it has a rough and sometimes violent connotation now (”I’ll fuck you up!”), but that’s largely from its long exile as a cussword; it is a word associated with violating social norms because only people willing to violate social norms used it, or it was used only in contexts where the usual norms did not apply. Nowadays, it can be used neutrally, playfully, even romantically, often playing off its status as a notionally impolite word, but it’s not a word that is expected to instill anxiety or fear in most people who hear it. Compare, mutatis mutandis, “bitch,” which even while a cussword remained a contextually appropriate technical term for a female dog; or more obliquely, “hell,” not a cussword at all when talking metaphysics or soteriology, but taboo in other contexts (and in some particularly observant mouths, as a result, even taboo in appropriate contexts).
And I think this is why the social signalling element of taboo words can’t be ignored. It might sound like this is an opening to me arguing “and therefore anybody should be able to use any racial slur they want, without repercussions!” I’m not going to argue that. Like I said, not using words that are offensive mostly costs you nothing, and using them to prove a point tends to just derail productive conversations at best, and totally inhibit communication at worst. If you use racial slurs just to prove you can, you’re probably an asshole. That said, I’m going to talk about racial slurs now; so, uh, double content warning I guess!
Etymologically, some slurs like “nigger” are abbreviations or alterations of totally unoffensive words with extremely neutral meanings. In the words themselves there seems to be no violence; but they’ve been spat at people enough times that they have acquired an immense aura of violence, as the kinds of words hateful people use. Establishing a taboo around those words, one so absolute that even their mention is disapproved of, is a very clear way of marking that 1) you are not that kind of hateful person, and 2) you do not tolerate that kind of attitude, or even a hint of it. That can actually be net good! Social disapproval is an important way of getting people to rethink their prejudices, and even if it can lead to a bit of the old euphemism treadmill (”colored” and “Negro” were once PC terms for black people; they no longer are), during periods of rapid social change when historic injustices are being confronted, maybe there is some utility in that.
There is certainly (for those who closely observe these taboos) a utility in being able to use shibboleths (or anti-shibboleths in this case) to sort people likely to share your views from those who don’t. This is true of other areas of language as well, of course, that don’t involve taboos: if someone is up on the lingo, asks for pronouns, uses acronyms like BIPOC or w/e, they’re signalling not just a shared political attitude but a shared membership in a specific subculture which prioritizes that attitude; someone who doesn’t capitalize “Black” or just says “POC” might be someone genuinely without a racist bone in their body, but is also not a presumptive member of the ingroup. At its most extreme, this devolves into stupid fights about language and cringy, hypercorrective usage that marks someone out as so consumed by their particular subculture they forget the rest of the world exists and hasn’t read the same six Tumblr posts they have. That’s annoying, but it’s not the collapse of western civilization or anything; and sometimes you look up and realize what was once a niche political opinion (like “you should use the acronym BIPOC,” or “gay people aren’t horrifying freaks”) has become general opinion, or at least general enough to be a major figure in mainstream culture war type stuff.
And fights about “what is a slur,” like most fights about language, are really fights about values. When people say “TERF is a slur,” what they mean is TERFs don’t deserve your contempt, or perhaps “TERFism is a valid philosophy.” They mean also, of course, “I feel threatened and attacked when you call me a TERF,” and possibly also it has been hissed at them in public! It may, for them, have many of the same features as a slur. Like “bitch,” these things are often contextual! And when people say “TERF is not a slur,” what they are saying is that “to be a TERF is nothing like being a racial or sexual minority; you’re not an oppressed class, you’re a Guardian columnist grossed out by trans people.” It’s often more productive to have these conversations about values directly, but of course values are contestable, while if you can establish a word as taboo, it’s suddenly off-limits, and you have won the argument by marking your opponent out as having done something beyond the limits of polite society. Fights about language are never about language, but they’re often much easier to win! Needless to say, except for very central examples, I don’t think “Is X a slur?” is either a well-defined question, or a very useful one. “Will using X inhibit the conversation I want to have? Am I only using X to make someone feel bad? Am I using X to highlight a particular belief I hold?” These are more useful questions to ask yourself.
And they’re true of other kinds of politically charged language: if you want to discuss contemporary LGBT issues with your aged relatives, throwing a dense wall of jargon at them, or nitpicking their use of language is probably not a useful way to spend your time, and will only inhibit communication. People get mixed up sometimes and forget that if someone doesn’t share your use of language, it doesn’t automatically mean they don’t share your values! (Likewise, plenty of disingenuous people have worked out what to say to pass as a member of polite society in whatever social circles they move, but reveal themselves to be bigots or assholes in moments of unusual candor! Language is a tool of social cohesion in humans, but it’s not proof of anything.)
(I’m also reminded of the argument that “you shouldn’t use ‘poly’ to talk about polyamory, because it refers to Polynesian people.” Of course words can mean more than one thing in more than one context; see ‘tranny’ above, see ‘master’ in the context of the Github renaming debate. What demands like this are are, in effect, demands to linguistically and thus politically privilege a certain category by prescriptively crowding out competing meanings. Sometimes this is because people aware of certain specific issues forget that their political issues of interest do not subsume all of human experience; sometimes is it a demand that they should. I find this particular kind of language nitpicking tiring, because words can mean multiple things and it’s not actually offensive, just potentially confusing. But not even that confusing!)
How people reject normative language, or demands to make certain language normative, is also often interesting. Fluent use of language requires internalizing its particular grammar, and this is as true of niche or novel usages within your native language as it is with learning a language from zero. Adults who use memes badly in an attempt to connect with teens are cringy because they don’t understand the grammar of the memes; a country bumpkin who lacks refined manners is looked down on because he doesn’t understand the grammar of high society. And I think in many cases the default human instinct is to prefer to display fluency in a comfortable social grammar than to fumble around awkwardly in a novel one: hence, older not-impolite-but-dated terms like “colored” can stick around, especially among older people, because they’re signaling an egalitarian impulse in the way comfortable for them, not because they want to express contempt for modern norms. Me, I don’t use the acronym BIPOC, or capitalize “black,” not because I despise black and indigneous people, but because these usages are novel and foreign to me, and I don’t understand their purpose. I might concede to a desire to signal political affiliation with those who do, and adopt them, but that feels like lying! So instead I stick with the usages I’m comfortable with, and hope that my expressed opinions are enough to clearly indicate what I believe, without recourse to fashionable shortcuts.
But people who say “well, why can’t I say the n-word? Black people say it!” are playing stupid on purpose; if pressed, they could probably come up with a couple of reasons why context for usage matters. Non-rhotic “nigga” as a reappropriative, slang term within AAVE obviously has a wildly different valence than a white person really leaning on that /r/, and the latter is sufficiently impolite that one of the few use cases for it in contemporary society is to deliberately signal contempt for a social norm. It’s interesting to compare and contrast, say, Jordan Peterson or someone else objecting to being required to use trans students’ correct pronouns. Does it actually cost him anything? No. Does it feel cringy to him? It might, a bit. Is it ‘true’? Well, the ontology of gender is complicated as hell, as is an accurate definition of ‘truth’ or ‘lies,’ but language is flexible enough (and Peterson knows this) that nobody is actually being misled: what Peterson objects to is being compelled (he feels) to indicate ideological sympathies he does not share, and having his freedom to indicate contempt for that stance (if he so chooses to) taken away. This is not the same as jack-booted thugs throwing him into the gulag for thoughtcrimes. Employers mandate the language employees must use on the job all the time. And even in situations where polite language is demanded under threat of legal sanction, like being jailed or fined for contempt of court for refusing to address a judge as “your honor,” this isn’t usually treated as a serious threat to freedom of expression. But the latter is a nearly universal social norm; respecting trans peoples’ pronouns isn’t. You might on perfectly reasonable egalitarian grounds refuse to address anyone by anything other than “Mr” or “Ms,” and get jailed by a judge or thrown out of Windsor Castle as a result; but to most people this would be justified by you being an obstinate asshole, because (arguably) the political group “bootlickers who use obsequious flattery on judges and the Queen” has a monopoly on political power. Or, more parsimoniously, it’s because intentionally disrespecting or pissing people off inhibits normal social interaction.
Anyway, after poking at this concept from several different angles, I don’t have any grand conclusions here. I just think the sociolinguistics around taboo language are super interesting. I guess my tl;dr would be to remember that fights about language are really fights about values, and if you’re going to deliberately upset people you’re going to make everything a lot harder on yourself even if you feel you are Technically Correct. Politeness can be bullshit, but it is an extremely effective social lubricant and, more importantly, it is 100% free. So, uh, remember that before you decide whether to die on a particular terminological hill.
remember how profanity was made out to be the worst thing in the world when you were a kid and then when you grew up everyone was like "just kidding, nobody actually cares, we were just doing that so we could yell at you"
#cw slurs#man i didn't even get into words that used to be grounds for fighting duels#like 'word so bad you're allowed to kill someone over it' isn't even a category we have anymore#but it used to be super important
