ISO 22301 BCMS Certification | BSCIC Certification
Business Continuity management BCMS has traditionally been associated with large enterprises and public sector organisations. Now however, organisations of all sizes are making sure that they are both resilient and prepared to get back to business in the face of an ever-changing and challenging landscape. Whilst it is now an essential requirement for every organisation, Business Continuity Management brings challenges, especially to those who are implementing a BCMS (Business Continuity Management System) for the first time. ISO 22301 BCMS certification's establish official business continuity rules to keep your company running during and after an interruption.
ISO 22301 BCMS certification's fundamental requirement is for business continuity i.e., BCMS to maintain critical functions operational during a crisis and to recovery with as little loss as possible. Natural hazards, fires, epidemics, cyberattacks, and other external factors are all included in a business continuity strategy.
Business Continuity Management must be a board level responsibility and business continuity planning needs to be business-led. These statements are supported by BS 25999, the Business Continuity Management Standard, which was launched in 2006.

Greece and Bulgaria have started commercially operating a long-delayed gas pipeline, which will help decrease southeast Europe's dependence on Russian gas and boost energy security.
The 182-kilometre pipeline will provide a relief to Bulgaria, which has been struggling to secure gas supplies at affordable prices since the end of April, when Russia's Gazprom cut off deliveries over Sofia's refusal to pay in roubles.
Russia has decreased its gas deliveries to Europe after the West imposed sanctions on Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine, leaving European Union countries scrambling to secure alternative supplies amid surging prices.
The European Commission president welcomed the pipeline's launch on Saturday, which she said was key to breaking away from Russian energy.
"This pipeline is a game changer. It's a game changer for Bulgaria and for Europe's energy security. And it means freedom. It means freedom from dependency on Russian gas," Ursula von der Leyen said during an inauguration ceremony in Sofia attended by the leaders of Bulgaria, Greece, Azerbaijan, Romania, Serbia and North Macedonia.
"Both here in Bulgaria and across Europe people are feeling the consequences of Russia's war. But thanks to projects like this, Europe will have enough gas for the winter," she said.
The Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB) pipeline will transport 1 billion cubic metres (bcm) of Azeri gas to Bulgaria.
With an initial capacity of 3 bcm per year and plans to later raise this to 5 bcm, the pipeline could provide non-Russian gas to neighbouring Serbia, North Macedonia, Romania and further to Moldova and Ukraine.
It will carry gas from the northern Greek city of Komotini to Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. IGB is linked to another pipeline, part of Southern Gas Corridor that carries Azeri gas to Europe.
On Friday, gas operators in Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia proposed to transport increased Azeri shipments through their networks to central Europe.
The €240 million pipeline is controlled by a joint venture between Bulgarian state energy company BEH, Greek gas utility DEPA and Italy's Edison.
Baltic Pipe gas pipeline opens
Gas started flowing to Poland through the new Baltic Pipe pipeline from Norway via Denmark and the Baltic Sea on Saturday morning, Polish gas pipeline operator Gaz-System said.
The pipeline is at the centre of Poland's strategy to diversify its gas supplies away from Russia that began years before Moscow's February invasion of Ukraine triggered a global energy crisis.
A Gaz-System spokeswoman told Reuters that flows started at 06.10 CET and nominations, or requests for sending gas through the pipeline on October 1, totalled 62.4 million kilowatt-hours (kwh).
The pipeline, with an annual capacity of 10 billion cubic meters, was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, a day after leaks were detected in the subsea Nord Stream gas pipelines linking Russia to Europe.
Russia cut gas supplies to Poland in April when it refused to pay in roubles.
Denmark and Sweden said on Friday that leaks in the Nord Stream pipelines were caused by "at least two detonations" with "several hundred kilos" of explosives.
EU leaders warned that leaks discovered on the two natural gas pipelines earlier in the week could be "sabotage".
While the pipelines connecting Russia to Germany still contained some natural gas, the EU said the leaks hadn't affected the bloc's gas supply.

Advantage of SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity - CONVISTA
Tumblr media
SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) now communicates directly with Banks
SAP MBC (Multi-Bank Connectivity) once again lives up to its name by strengthening communication with banks. One of SAP's pending subjects was to establish direct connectivity, without intermediaries, directly with the banks.
The dependence on a financial messaging provider in the deployment of SAP BCM (SWIFT, Service Bureau, etc.), was always a handicap and opened the door to other types of connectivity models through non-SAP TMSs, such as Kyriba, Sungards, and TIS, etc.
SAP, on the other hand, had solutions that enabled connectivity with European messaging networks such as EBICS (exclusively applicable in Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland) or facilitated integration with SWIFT's Autoclient software (Alliance Lite2).
In the past, it had tried to act as an alternative agent to the Service Bureau, through the SAP FSN (Financial Service Network) solution, but without success, making it dependable on third parties within the SWIFT framework.
In the past, it had tried to act as an alternative agent to the Service Bureau, through the SAP FSN (Financial Service Network) solution, but without success, making it dependable on third parties within the SWIFT framework.
To fill this historical gap, and to have the End to End process fully integrated into the ERP, SAP has launched the Multi-Bank Connectivity tool, following an agreement reached with SWIFT on 21 March 2018, both joining forces to bring the banking experience to a higher level for treasurers.
SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity is implemented in the SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and the deployment model in S/4HANA on cloud architectures is natively predefined. In the rest of the scenarios, communication must be established through predefined and configurable tools.
The main advantages of SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity are:
End-to-End Visibility: Provides the treasurer with visibility of the payment status from the beginning to the end of the process. Integrated traceability is the main feature of the SAP solution.
Automation: The file and message exchange process is fully automatic and integrated with SAP BCM.
Global banking platform: A large banking "collective" is created to which new banks will be added.
Support: Technical support is provided by SAP and by partners specialized in banking connectivity models such as CON VISTA.
Costs: Cost reduction concerning the rest of the current alternatives.
Simplification: The technical architecture is simplified, having everything integrated into your SAP system.
Standardization of formats: Adaptation and interpretation of different banking schemes.
These are the main advantages provided by SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity, but we believe that some of them need to be further developed.
It is important to highlight that the global banking platform that SAP has created with this solution, (to date approximately 60 integrated banks) means that the process of connecting a company to one of these banks can be carried out in approximately 1-2 days.
What if the bank we are working with is not in the network? SAP will establish the bank connection with that entity, and the deployment time can range from 4-8 days if any SAP customer with Multi-Bank Connectivity has already connected to that entity.
In the case of a completely new entity, the process could take between 2 and 4 weeks.
These connections can be of different natures, but through SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity we will be able to establish the connection:
Host to Host
SWIFT Alliance Lite 2
EBICS
The combination of Host to Host, SWIFT Alliance Lite 2, and EBICS
In the SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity solution, the costs to be considered would be:
Network connection costs
Cost of using the network (number of transactions sent)
Costs are billed directly by SWIFT if this is the connectivity model adopted
Once connected, the platform will allow format conversions to be made and it will interpret different incoming messages, which will update the status of your payments in real time. In addition, it will simplify, in the security framework, the encryption and digital signature of the information exchanged.
These are advantages that currently require a great deal of additional effort for configuration and programming, or the acquisition of third-party software.
Finally, it should be noted that this solution is focused on banking communication, but the objective is that in the future they can give it much more versatility, enabling communication gateways with the different trading agencies (360T, FX Trading, Reuters, Bloomberg, ...) for the direct contracting of financial products and their monitoring through the Correspondence Framework of TRM.

I love Black Cat Mercantile. Rather than list the canned questions: why make it RPF instead of Sam/Dean? Any chance for a sequel? Can I reiterate how much I love this fic???
aw, friend. That's awesome. Sure, I'll talk about that one --
Black Cat Mercantile
Why make it RPF?
Well, that's because I'm very anal and tedious about AUs vs not. I wanted to write an urban fantasy story that was a meet-grumpy and using a weird magic system. That’s not Supernatural. Like, at all, in tone or vibe or just the bare facts. I guess I could have put Sam and Dean into such a world to play, but the most important thing about Sam and Dean is that they’re brothers, and a meet cute (or grumpy, or a meet at all) doesn’t work for that. I don’t even like reading raised-apart AUs for them, because the way that they shaped each other is so entirely who they are that it just feels weird. I read very, very few SPN AUs, and I write fewer, haha. They’re interesting me for brotherhood and destiny, so I get particular about settings where those things may not be true.
Meanwhile, there’s a whole universe of J2 RPF to play in. I’m mildly obsessed by the “canon” and fanons of J2 AUs. I don’t actually like writing/reading non-AUs because they squick me unavoidably; the AUs, though, are so interesting for me because I love the... folk language of them. BCM uses the Grumpy Jensen Who Needs Coffee And Is Secretly Decent characterization with the Sunshine Privileged Jared characterization, which is a particular fanon standard. Maybe somewhat based in ‘reality’ but what’s important isn’t what Actual Jensen Ackles and Actual Jared Padalecki are really like (because of course they’re actors and we fans can never know that); what’s important is the fan-creation that exists. I find that so cool. Isn’t that cool? That you can hold four different fanon-Jareds in your head and know them all to be “true” depending on the story you’re reading? Well, I think it’s super neat. So -- grumpy bitch Jensen and young overbearing lordling Jared, they’re the fate-mage and the mind-reader, and Sam and Dean get to comfortably hang out in some other more-mundane universe.
Any chance for a sequel?
I meannnnnn. Maybe. If I did write one it would be from Jensen’s POV, and he and Jared would be further along in an established relationship, and it would be plottier as opposed to the super simple airy getting-together of the original fic, and also it would be harder to write, in some ways. I do think about it, though. How Jensen would interact with the Padaleckis, how he’d have a half-bitter knowing that he owes Jared a ton, the imbalance of their relationship. It’s interesting but tricky. I have so much that I should be writing/finishing, but maybe one day I’ll give myself the present of that fic. It could be like a little 10k thing and be easier... Hmm. Well, I’ll post it here if it ever gets done, haha.
Can I reiterate how much I love this fic???
You can. ;-;

5 Signs Your Body Control Module Is Malfunctioning
Tumblr media
Modern cars' ability to function properly depends on a sophisticated communication network. A variety of terminals, wires, and sensors are present in this network, and they all provide feedback to various electronic computer modules. The majority of the time, each of a car's critical systems has a computer module that controls it.
The BCM, or body control module, is one such module that is present on almost all modern automobiles. This module is responsible for a number of safety and comfort-related functions that are of great value to the driver and other occupants of a vehicle.
A vehicle's body control module, while uncommon, might experience significant operating problems, including total failure. Several unsettling symptoms may appear when this happens, many of which can be very unsettling to deal with. It is advised that as soon as you notice any of the following symptoms, you schedule your vehicle with a car repairs near me garage as soon as you can to allow the mechanic to identify and resolve the problem.
Learn more about the symptoms of body control module failure in the upcoming sections, as well as what to do if you experience any of these problems in the future.
Failure of the body control module is accompanied by a range of symptoms. However, some of these signs are usually much more common than others, so it's crucial to become familiar with them all in case you ever encounter a problem of this nature again.
Some of the most typical signs of a failing body control module include the ones listed below:
1.Excessive Battery Drainage - Sometimes referred to as a parasitic draw, is one of the signs of body control module failure that is most frequently experienced. Although a limited amount of parasitic draw is allowed, excessive draw made possible by a BCM malfunction can quickly drain a battery. When a BCM keeps providing power to a certain accessory at the wrong times, this draw happens. If the battery is drained during a MOT test, you run the danger of the MOT failing since the MOT tester might not be able to do all the tests required to pass the MOT test. Therefore, check MOT status of your vehicle and have this problem addressed.
2.Erratic Electrical Function – A damaged body control module can also lead to sporadic performance of a number of electrical features, including the horn, lights, and wipers of a car. You run the danger of a failing if these components don't function properly because they are tested during a MOT. To properly investigate and address the issue, you need schedule an appointment with a competent mechanic at one of the car garages in Reading you find online. Unusual door lock and radio operation are additional warning signs of body control module failure, as are dials in the instrument cluster that sweep erratically. When more than one of these symptoms is present at any particular period, the likelihood that such problems are BCM-related rises.
3.Security System Issues - The body control module nearly always controls the security system in a vehicle. Therefore, it is simple to conclude that recurring yet mysterious security system problems with vehicles are a result of a broken or malfunctioning body control module. Problems with a vehicle's keyless entry or passive entry systems can also fall under this category.
4.Dashboard Warning Lights - The instrument cluster of a car might suffer greatly from a malfunctioning body control module. Unremarkable dash displays might suddenly become incredibly lit, almost like a Christmas tree. This happens when one or more of a vehicle's extra control modules, such as the airbag control module, powertrain control module, or transmission control module, are unable to interact with a BCM. If any warning lights are on your dashboard, you should look online for garages in Reading so that a technician may examine your vehicle, identify the issue, and make any necessary repairs.
5.Failure To Start - In some circumstances, a malfunctioning or damaged body control module may also prohibit a vehicle from starting at all. Even though it happens infrequently, a malfunctioning BCM can inhibit starter engagement by failing to recognise the transponder chip in the key or by simply failing to provide a "start" signal from the ignition switch. Inability of the BCM to communicate with other associated control modules can also cause problems starting the engine.
Is a Bad BCM Safe to Drive With?
It is generally not recommended to drive a car with a damaged body control module, even though it is hypothetically possible to do so. This is due to the unpredictability of a computer module that is about to break.
Simply said, it is impossible to foresee which of a malfunctioning computer's features will work as intended at any given time. The issue with this is that it is impossible to predict whether a BCM failure will lead to a safety-sensitive issue or not.
There is no assurance that a malfunctioning BCM would turn on a vehicle's lights, when necessary, even if nothing similar has ever happened in the past. The occupants of a vehicle are put at a reasonable risk by this.

Kit is still a WIP, but I’ve been happy with what I’ve been building up.
Dedicated IFAK pouch for the belt, new pistol mag carriers, and a dump pouch are still to come, along with misc. other improvements as necessary.
PC: Velocity Systems LEPC with Ferro Concepts cummerbund (big improvement over the standard elastic cummerbund, low profile while adding Molle and a lot more ridgidity and comfort) and a HSP D3CRM. Chest rig has 3 rifle mags, pistol mag, multi tool, medical, and a headlamp. Using Hesco L210s with First Spear plate backers to fill out the pouches and to aid comfort and airflow.
Bag: Tactical Tailor/Milspec Monkey Adapt pack, can be adapted to attach to a carrier but I prefer being able to remove a bag. Gloves, water, extra mags, batteries, ear pro, eye pro, and miscellaneous bits and bobs.
Belt: Ferro Concepts Bison belt. Huge upgrade over my old shitty padded battle belt setup. Thin, low profile, rigid, and comfortable. Definitely would recommend. Glock 19 in a mid-ride UBL Safariland with generic Amazon elastic leg strap. ITW fastmag for the rifle mag, which I love, and an HSGI Taco for the pistol mag, which I hate.
Rifle is largely unchanged, got a Ferro Slingster about a year ago that I like a lot, but otherwise it’s just heavy and reliable.
Bushmaster (lmao) lower with a Geissele SSA-E, BCM SOCOM 14.5” upper with a RIS II, Aimpoint CompM4, Surefire 600 Scout on a (slightly bent) HSP Thorntail mount, Surefire SF3P flash hider.
Nothing super Gucci, but I like the scalability and I’ve tried to focus on quality, well made kit. Had to make some color compromises on some items because the availability just wasn’t there, but full matchy matchy is for dorks anyway.
