Are you also an imminent AGI head? Has been upsetting to learn that so many of the people I like on here, allegedly fellow nothing ever happens cels, are like actually worried about being paperclipped and in short term too- probably my bad for being on rat-adj-adj blr but if ends up majority of the good posters were/are fully pilled on AGI, this website will cease to be net positive worth using, which is unfortunate

hmm, not really. i guess i feel like my main feeling re: AGI is uncertainty. like, AGI in the next ten years is definitely not impossible imo (i think since 2017 we should be cautious abt what we consider impossible) but its also definitely not certain (even in the next 20 years). but also, even in the case of AGI i dont see much reason to imagine a paperclipping scenario. i guess it's not a priori impossible, but fundamentally i'd say intelligence doesn't "work like that": it neither allows for immediate infinite power, nor is it compatible with "paperclip" type goals. AGI would be an extremely big deal, an industrial revolution big deal, but it wouldnt be a literal-apocalypse type big deal, except in basically the same ways that human action could lead to literal apocalypse

Bovendien behaalt de 24-jarige Duitse hier zelfs haar beste senior resultaat ooit, en pakt brons op deze GSL, beter dan haar 5°-plaats begin maart in Tashkent (Uzb). Toch een sterke wedstrijd van Alessia; ze komt iets voorbij halfweg achter met sumi-gaeshi, maar herstelt dat in de laatste minuut met soto-makikomi; uiteindelijk wint Pohl met uchi-mata na 5'05"min.

Gaby Willems (°97; /-70kg; 30° WRL): out (0 own) -1/16-fin: Celinda Corozo (°98; Ecu; 39° WRL) blijkt een krachtige judoka te zijn die met regelmaat seoi-nage uitvoert en daarmee Gaby verhindert háár geliefkoosde judo te etaleren. Ze moet er zelfs een shido door incasseren, want telkens Gaby iets probeert op te bouwen, volgt er een pseudo-aanval van Celinda, die uitmondt in 'maté'. Behoorlijk frustrerend wellicht, en bij een poging om het dan maar te forceren (sneller, met wat minder controle) loopt Gaby op een counter met ura-nage (waza-ari, na 2'17"min). Tai-otoshi, harai-goshi, het lukt nooit echt, en ook op grond - waar Gaby thuis is - blijkt Celinda alles goed gesloten te houden. Geen doorkomen aan, en na 4'min uit het tornooi. Een kamp tegen Lara Cvjetko (°01; Cro; 6° WRL) zal er dus nooit komen. De Croatische opvolgster van Barbara Matic zal overigens ook niet scoren tegen Corozo, maar wel winnen op shido (00s0/00s3). Cvjetko verliest uiteindelijk de finale (met ura-nage) tegen een verrassende Tais Pina (°04; Por; 36° WRL), een junior dus; nu ja, ze werd dit jaar, als 19-jarige, 5° GSL Paris en 2° GSL Antalya. Als ze goed scoort op het WK, heeft ze kans op een Olympische kwalificatie !

Sami Chouchi (°93; /-90kg; 35° WRL): out (0 own) -1/16-fin: tegen laatstejaars junior Mamedaly Achyldyyev (°04; Tkm; 73° WRL): vorig jaar 2x op het podium van een WCup, en dit jaar telkens één overwinning op 3 GSLs (Tashkent, Tbilisi, Dushanbe). "Sami, il faut que tu travailles !" riep Cédric Taymans vanaf de stoel, en dat deed hij uiteindelijk ook, maar na 2'36"min staat hij wel 00s2/00s1 achter, en dat houdt altijd risico's in, vooral tegen een fysiek sterke tegenstander. Een 'valse aanval' met 2 shido's achter je naam is nooit zo bedoeld, maar eens men wat moe wordt, wordt het door de scheids wél vaak zo geïnterpreteerd, en dat scenario had Sami kunnen vermijden door meer alertheid in die eerste minuut... Helaas. Alleen een mirakel op het WK kan hem nog naar Paris leiden, maar dat zie ik persoonlijk niet gebeuren... 1. Tagging group names

Obviously this depends on the group you’re posting for but it is helpful to put both the group name and the short version. For example, when I post for Seventeen I’ll tag “seventeen” and “svt”. 

As long as you tag the full group name it should be fine. The shortened version is just optional.

2. Tagging member names

Also obvious, tag both the stage name and real name if they apply. For members that use their real name, tag the real name and their full name. 

(NOTE #1: Do be aware that some idols prefer to strictly use their stage names. For example, Wonho doesn’t like to be called by his real name. Be sure to tag accordingly!)

(NOTE #2: For Thai idols, please do not use their real names! Just use their stage names. To understand why, please read this very helpful post!)

If some members have the same name as other members in another group, be sure to state the group name before their name. For example, “monsta x minhyuk” vs “btob minhyuk”.

3. Networks

Probably the most important one, networks are what help circulate content around kpopblr.

Since we're done with the goalkeepers, now let's move on to a set of four (sometimes three or five too according to the needs) people we trust to help our goalies maintaining the sanctity of our net.

Spoiler alert: they don't always succeed.

Arsenal's defense has always been a internal joke within the Premier League for years and I honestly thought if we have the resource to clone Tony Adams then we should (not that we have the money anyway but a girl can dream), and we have had to endure the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz in the heart of our defense for years (I'm sorry for naming names. Those people still give me nightmares sometimes). And trust me when I say that if you managed to miss all those dark times, well, lucky you.

But now I can proudly say that we actually do have some people with braincells as our backline who actually try their best so our goalies can take a breath of relief...sometimes.

So, without further ado, let's delve into this!

The first man to be introduced here will be our left-back Kieran Tierney (24), KT for short, for you bayern-blr just imagine a Scottish, left-footed Joshua Kimmich and you'll get him, he's an old school type of player who tucks his kit in and loves defending, enjoys chocolates and rom-com movies, future Arsenal captain for sure, will absolutely scream and yell at his teammates whenever things don't go according to plan

And yes, Arsenal youtube channel rarely uses subtitles for the English-speaking players but they gave one for KT because his lovely Scottish accent needs a subtitle always lol.

This man is also hard as nails, he can very much become the male Elsa because the cold never bothers him, he'll appear in nothing but short-sleeved top and shorts even if Arsenal's playing in the North Pole in the middle of winter, if anything I'm guessing the cold unlocks his special power even

(This is his celebration after scoring a goal against West Brom, in the middle of snow, with his weaker foot. Guess which one is KT lol)

He's a bit injury prone sadly but always gives 200% whenever he's on the pitch, tackles goals assists he has everything in his Tesco bag, why Tesco bag you might ask?? Moving on from KT, now we have our resident whore and himbo center back Ben White (24), yes this guy is an Arsenal player, I know, unbelievable, with that kind of name lol so we affectionately call him Benny Blanco, how come the guy with the blandest, whitest name in the world be spicy af but that's just how he is, his every action screams "I'm sexy and I know it", this guy KNOWS he's hot and would use every single chance he has to flaunt his beautiful, flawless tanned skin and tattoos and yes I do sound like a fanfiction writer at this rate and I don't care

I think it's not too much when I say: WOOF.

His price tag was almost as spicy as he looks for we forked out 50 million to get him from Brighton and people were jeering at us for that but I can assure you that amount is much too cheap, he will put his life to defend his boyfriend our goal no matter what, just look at tall Ben White squaring up to his (usually much smaller) opponents and you'll understand why

As a wise man once said, he's too beautiful to be good at defending. And poor Placheta had no chance there, especially with Ben giving him THAT look.

But despite of everything Benny Blanco is a lovable guy who flirts with everyone in the squad loves his teammates with all his heart and soul and always fucks praises them to no end in interviews, he would regularly posts photos of said boyfriends and/or fuck buddies teammates in his instastory at any given occasion, especially ones of his one true love, Aaron Ramsdale:

The third defender on this list will be Ben's centre back partner and our Brazilian wonderwall Gabriel Magalhaes (24), Gabriel for short, I personally call him Biel to differentiate him with Gabriel Martinelli, he joined us from Lille last season and it's another transfer we never regret because this guy is MASSIVE, he won Arsenal's Player of the Month for three months in a row when he just came, and this season he goes even stronger, his partnership with Ben has given us the same number of clean sheets as Manchester City so far by the time of writing

(Question here, why are our main CBs both dripping with ink? Lol)

If any of you notice his teeth, yes they're THAT white and THAT perfect, and yes they're veneers, he's lost them TWICE on the pitch so far, but each time we won I think so all's good, he sacrificed those beautiful teeth for the sake of his team

Anyway, Arsenal's defenders are generally something else and Gabriel is no exception, he's actually fought some masked robbers who had followed him home and then tried to steal his car and his watch, he then threatened to beat them up by their own baseball bat, this man has the heart of steel both on and off the pitch I can tell you

But despite all of those, deep inside he's a very sweet and gentle man who loves his fiancee and family, he posts about her A LOT in his instagram which shows how much he loves and appreciates her, also this man's going to be a dad, which he announced this way after he scored our third goal against Southampton:

Hope Baby Magalhaes will grow into such a tall and strong CB like his dad.

Passively watching other people's lives or getting advice for shit... I didn't ask for...

I liked Tumblr because...I'm an active participant.

And there's more of an opportunity to be so.

Sure, it's not as mainstream as it was.

But, it's still useful...

Let's see if we can get back to pure human self-expression.

Which is Beautiful.

Instead of "brain-dead" net culture where it's all about marketing and trends all. the. time.

He was the night; dark and mysterious. Shifting from shadow to shadow like a nightmare just beyond your vision but there. In the back of your brain. That chill that runs up your spine. That ghost of fear that is hiding in your closet.  

 He was the wind. Swift and undetectable. A breeze to a hurricane. 

He was

Ice cream.

“Whoops.” 

Roy turned wiping away the sweet mint chocolate off his face, turning to glare at the dark-haired girl who was standing a few feet away from him. Her ice-blue eyes shining with laughter as she held up her plastic spoon like a catapult. 

"You did that on purpose!!" 

"Keep up Harper" she giggled admitting to nothing as she stuck out her tongue at him. Pulling out her bow and arrow she leapt from the building racing across the city.  

“You’re such a childs” 

“No, I just like to have fun.” 

Roy rolled his eyes as they raced over the city flipping over buildings and vaulting over balconies. Oliver had left him in charge and Roy Harper was going to prove to that big doof that he was ready for league duty. He just needed to focus. 

Now if she would stop rattling off House Wives facts. 

“I’m just saying she had it coming after the birthday party.” 

“Do I look like I care?” Roy asked, coming up next to her. She giggled looking up at the redhead.

“Yes.” 

“Look Oliver is counting on us to take care of the city while he’s gone.” 

“We take care of the city all the time,” the female archer said, running her fingers through her hair, “You just need to relax. Where’s my fun time Roy?” giggling she pushed him lightly only to have him catch her wrist.

“I’m serious….” 

“So am I.” 

Her voice was softer this time as she looked up at him. Meeting his gaze with her own. He was about to respond when gunshots rang out. 

Both teens turned to the sound of the shots. A convenience store right below them. 

“Please, it was a hard month…” 

“Just shut up and get the money from the safe.”

Roy nodded toward the back of the store motioning to have this partner go around the opposite way to surround four gunmen. 

“Four there is only a few hundred in here.” the bagman said looking over the contents before looking up at the one holding the gun.

“There was supposed to be more… Bring us to your safe.”

“There is nothing there, I just went to the bank.” 

“Four?” one of the other guys said clearly annoyed with this bust of a robbery. But the one called Four shoved the man.

“He’s lying, take us to your safe!”

The man nodded slowly starting to walk around the counter when he saw the young female hero from behind a magazine rack. Her bow ready, she nodded to him to duck. 

From his position across the store from her Roy leapt forward shooting two arrows. One of them freezing Four’s trigger figure. The store owner fell onto the floor behind the counter as Roy’s backup shot two more arrows at the other two guys with guns. 

Bag guy let out a scream of fear dashing toward the door only to have Roy shoot a bolas arrow which wrapped itself around the bag guy’s feet causing him to fall hard on the floor. 

Four growled swinging his now frozen gun at Roy who ducked as his partner flipped over the magazine rack shooting a net around Four. 

Sirens blared in the distance. 

Picking up the bag of money the young woman walked it over to the store owner. “Here” 

“I… how can I thank you?” he asked, taking the bag. 

“No need” Roy said, waving his hand while puffing out his chest a little doing his best Oliver impression. 

“Well… If you're offering…” the young woman’s voice trailed off as she glanced at the large icebox that held the ice cream bars.

"This is the best," She giggled swinging her legs as they dangled off the 13 story building while she munched on her Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream bar. Glancing at Roy she smiled as he took a bite out of his bar not saying anything. Scooting closer she nudged him with her shoulder. 

“Ok fine, ice cream Mickey’s are the best” he mumbled glancing over at she who just smiled back at him. 

“Yeah, they make everything better, even getting left behind.” 

“I wasn’t left behind,” Roy argued, “You’re here.” 

“And I’m way better than Oliver.” 

Roy chuckled taking a lick of the dripping ice cream as he watched her lean against the railing looking out at the city. The sun was just starting peak it’s way over the tall buildings. Bright orange and golds streaming across the city lighting up the the wide eyes of the girl next to him. 

“I guess.” 

- Years later - 

Will sighed as he looked over his paperwork. 

Mondays. 

Looking over the figures he ran his fingers through his hair when a Mickey-shaped ice cream bar took over his vision. 

Looking up, his green eyes met her’s. 

“I heard about last night from Artemis. And I know a wise woman who once said mickey bars always make everything better.” Chuckling Will took the ice cream seeing that his visitor had already had eaten half of hers. “I’m sorry” she added. 

“I’m not” Will responded before taking a bite of the sweet treat, letting the hard chocolate shell melt in his mouth, his tongue licking up some of the sweet creams. His green eyes meeting hers again. “Want to go get something a little more substantial than this? I have been craving that Ramen from across the street.” 

“I’m totally down but…” 

“Daddy!” Lian squealed coming rushing into the office, ice cream all over her face.

“So maybe Mcdonals?” Will asked scooping up his daughter before wiping her face, “They have the best play place.” 

“Nuggets” Lian agreed nodding as her father kissed her cheek.

“Nuggets sound AMAZING,” the woman said looking up at Will. “Don’t you think Harper?” 

“Almost as amazing as Mickey ice cream” he laughed grabbing his jacket his eyes never leaving hers. As if he looked away she would disappear. As if he could pretend that every other woman he had tired to replace her with was equal in any way. 

Because she was ice cream. Sweet and cool and always there when you needed it most. It always made you feel better no matter what. 

It was amazing. 

Just like her.

you’d had a great support system with all of your closest friends there for you along the way.

wonyoung dragged you to yoga classes every saturday morning, claiming it was “cleansing for the soul.”

jungwon always had some new stupid meme to send you, lighting up your phone at the most unexpected times.

and then there was sunoo—happy and bubbly, coming over whenever you said you’d cried thinking about him. there whenever you said you needed some fresh air. there, for you.

he was there when you felt like you were sinking, and felt amicably helpless. comforting you, tell you that you were worth it, and to never let anyone take away your light like your ex boyfriend had.

he had this way of knowing exactly when to show up. if you texted him at 2 a.m., admitting you couldn’t sleep because your mind was spiraling, he’d arrive with snacks and that bright, comforting smile.

sunoo was your anchor.

he was the kind of person who could make you laugh when your chest felt too tight to breathe. he’d die for your laugh, your laugh that colored the sky.

he was the kind who knew what you needed before you even realized it yourself.

one rainy afternoon, the two of you sat on your couch, watching some random drama he’d insisted on. the raindrops against the window blurred the world outside, leaving the two of you in a cozy bubble.

“y/n,” he said suddenly, his tone more serious than usual.

“yeah?” you turned to face him, surprised.

“do you ever think about… starting over? with someone new?” he asked, his eyes focused on the tv but his fingers nervously fiddling with the edge of the blanket.

you hesitated. “sometimes,” you admitted. “but it’s scary, you know? letting someone in again. trusting someone.”

sunoo hummed and nodded.

“would you ever consider taking a chance.. with me?” he asked absentmindedly.

truth be told, sunoo’s crush on you started after you broke up, but he didn’t want to overwhelm you, love bomb you, or be anything of the sort. how it killed him to be in love with a girl that now thought love was overrated. he wanted to tell you that he’d forever be your safety net.

now that you were healed, it didn’t feel so impossible to take a chance with him, so that’s what you did.
