TT, what's your opinion on Dipti Kalwani? I have really mixed feelings about her. I really liked the initial episodes of EBSS, they were among the best written in last few years on itv, and Jahnvi was such a delight to watch. But the way she (I assume) folded under pressure from Star, and gaslighted the show, which was apparently her dream project, I dunno.

I don’t really have much of an opinion on her. Her two main shows (Badho Bahu and EBSS) have been female-centric and are slightly different from the usual TV stuff. As for her folding under Star Plus, well, them’s the rules on that channel. It interferes with nearly every single show and forces changes that the producers don’t really want, but have to bring around to keep their show on. I haven’t watched Badho Bahu but it went on for quite a while, so I assume she can do well if the channel doesn’t adaaofy taang ainvayi mein. Let’s hope Sony let her and Gul do their own thing, coz clearly forcing them to change shit to garner ratings just leads them to fucking destroy the show.

Popular TV actress Shrenu Parikh, who was last seen in Star Plus’ show Ishqbaaaz as Gauri Sharma, is all set to play a typical daughter-in-law in Star Plus’ upcoming show Ek Bhram Sarva GunnSampann. “I'm looking forward to this association with Dipti Kalwani, the maker of Badho Bahu. Just like her previous progressive show, this one is an unusual and an unconventional family drama. I am playing a quintessential 'bahu' (daughter-in-law)", Shrenu commented on her role.

"We've just started shooting and it's an extremely interesting story based on a Marwari family and their journey along with their ups and downs. Jhanvi, my character, is that binding thread, the one that holds her family together and someone who can do anything for her loved ones", she added. Talking about the show, it will be shown that Jhanvi has some hidden motive that will be unveiled to the audiences very soon.
