How do you think the brothers would react to a human s/o that compared ears? Like touching their ears and letting them touch theirs? I think it would be super cute and a little funny

He would be interested in your ears since they're unlike anything he's seen

The only ears he's seen were round, like circles, but yours were ovalish

He thinks your ears are more sensitive than they actually are since his ears are really sensitive

Se he's very gentle, though I can't say the same about you

Since your ears aren't sensitive when pulled, you didn't expect him to be sensitive

You had touched his ear gently, before tugging it, causing him to squeal

^You blushed, before quickly apologizing, as his face deepened. He hadn't expected you to do that and was quite surprised

^"I'm so sorry Ian!"

^ "It's fine. I've been through worse"

^ "I just didn't expect... you know- for your ears to be so sensitive"

^ "Are yours not?"

^ You laughed, thinking he was joking, before realizing he was serious and stopped, "Of course not- Well... Not like yours. I mean it hurts when you cut them or tug really hard, but you can tug them," You tug your ears to show him, "and it won't hurt."

He, unlike his brother, would not realize his own strength and tug on your ears-hard

When you squealed in pain, he quickly apologized

^ You might grab his in retaliation, but you can pull as hard as you want, it won't hurt him

Because his ears, also unlike his brother, aren't as sensitive. So he didn't think yours would be sensitive, what he DIDN'T know was that while yours weren't sensitive, they were more so than his

From then on, he would be a lot softer with your ears

He doesn't want to accidentally hurt you again

He really likes when you touch his ears

^ When you feel them, rub them, massage them, pull them gently- He loves it all

Not in a sexual way, at least not all the time

He has a fascination with your ears- He wants to know if they work the same as his and if they're different, how they're different, why are they so round? Can you hear different sounds then him? Can one of you hear farther than the other, etc,

He just wants to know everything, because he loves you and he thinks you shouls knw everything about someone you love

one of the many things i love about onward is just how fully and sincerely barley loves ian. like when he realizes that ian has the innate ability to do magic and he doesn't, you might expect him to be a little annoyed given that ian had zero interest in magic and didn't believe it ever existed, while barley was always the one who absolutely loved magic and would've been way happier than ian was to find out he was not only right about it being real, but that he could do it. but if he is annoyed or disappointed in any way, he certainly doesn't show it. instead he encourages ian, guides him, and shows how proud and excited he is that his little brother is a wizard!!
