He's not very good in the romance department, so he comes off awkward and nervous

He tries really hard to be normal, but he can't help it

Watches you from a distance. Sighs in bliss and draws hearts with your initials with his

Tries to approach you, but each time he always either backs out or he can't get his words out

You'll look over and see a classmate approach you. You recognize him, but you don't recall his name. He stops a few feet from you and you watch him expectedly. He opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out

"Uh- I... Hi," He awkwardly waves and you look at your friends. You look back at him and wave back

Before he can get a word out, someone calls your name and you have to leave. You apologize to the guy and tell him goodbye

He's disappointed, but it's the most you've spoken to him, so his disappointment is short lived

He approached you the next day, trying to conversate a little more, but he's still a little shy

100% a stalker, though he is nonchalant about it [Or at least he tries too]

You were so cool in his eyes, so when he ended up accidentally running into you, his whole world change

^ He stuttered over his words, while you looked at him confused. He does eventually get out an apology and you end up asking for his name

^ He wants to say he knows, but he thinks that will probably be weird

You end up inviting him to hang out with you and your friends and he thinks he's died and gone to heaven. He's ecstatic and he brags to his mom about it

Thankfully, your friends are warm and welcoming and don't even notice his awkwardness

He mainly sticks with you, but does end up becoming friendly with your other friends

You two become really close and end up spending time together alone

You meet his mom and he stands behind you slicing a hand over his throat while shaking his head [Pretty much trying to tell his mom to stop talking when she starts to go on about what he's said about you]

Barley gets way too comfortable with you, much to Ian's annoyance

Barley is just very extroverted, but he makes you feel right at home

And you always feel at home when you're with him. It helps bring you and Ian closer

Summary: Ian has been building up the courage to talk to you and he finally makes an attempt

Ian took a deep breath, before taking a step forward; Only to immediately turn around and head back to his brother's van. He groaned, hitting his head against the headboard.

"What's wrong with you, lil bro?"

Ian sighs, turning his head towards Barley. "It's nothing."

Barley punched his shoulder lightly, "You can tell me anything, Ian."

"It's just a girl-"

"Oh, a girl!" Barley poked his brother, teasing him, while Ian groaned.

"Can we just go home?"

"Why don't you talk to her?"

"That's the problem!" Ian holds his hands out, "I can't talk to her."

"Why not."

"I don't know... I just can't."

"You talk to Mom just fine, tho."

Ian groans, again, grabbing his head in his hands, "Yeah, but that's mom."

"Well, why don't you pretend she's mom?"

"I- Uh... Well," Ian looks over Barley's shoulder to see where you are. "That's not a bad idea." Ian takes a deep breath before getting out of the truck and heading in your direction.

"You get 'em lil bro!"

Ian internally facepalms but shakes it off. He heads in your direction, before freezing when you look at him. He awkwardly waves, "Hi." He says, his voice cracking.

"Hi, Ian."

You knew his name? Okay, that's a good sign. Wow, he never thought he'd make it this far. He froze, not knowing how to continue with the conversation.

"Are you okay?"

There were some laughs and he blushed. "Um," He rubbed the back of his neck, "Do you want to hang out sometime. I mean, only if you're free. Not that you have to spend it with me. I mean you can do whatever you want, because you are your own person..."

He continues to rant and you giggle at the male.

"Sure, Ian. We can hang out."

"I mean it'd okay if you say no-"

"I said yes, Ian. I'd love to hang out with you."

"Oh. Great!" he finger guns you, before going back to his brother's van.

"He's kind of cute."

As much as he would love to hold your hand and kiss you, he's still really shy

While he gained a lot of confidence on the trip with his brother, he's still so shy with you

It can take a while to get used to your height difference, especially if it's a big height difference [Like 6'- 12' inches], but it will be quickly resolved

His face gets so red that it goes to the tip of his ears

He's so giddy when you want to hold his hands and intertwine your hands

Though he does get embarrassed, more so because he's not used to it

But he would do anything for you

But don't worry, because the rest of his family is super affectionate

They will hug you whenever they can, whether it be a side hug or even a full-on hug

I can also see Barley trying to wrestle you because you're closer in height. Doesn't matter what gender you are, he's willing to take you on

The only ears he's seen were round, like circles, but yours were ovalish

He thinks your ears are more sensitive than they actually are since his ears are really sensitive

Se he's very gentle, though I can't say the same about you

Since your ears aren't sensitive when pulled, you didn't expect him to be sensitive

You had touched his ear gently, before tugging it, causing him to squeal
