When I was younger I used to get so pissed off by high-school aus specifically bc no matter where the original story takes place the au would always be set in an American high-school and American High schools confuse the hell out of me

#Like there's several examples I can think of #But the most weird one had to be merlin #They're all English why are we in America #Anyway thinking about this rn #Bc I'm reading this cute book about a jock that falls in love with a cheerleader #And I kinda want to draw some steph cass jock cheerleader art now #But it also just reminded me of those old aus #And how I still think the American education system is weird #Why do split math up into 5 subjects #It's math #It's one subject #The number subject #Where I went to school there was just two types of math #Basic math and further math #Same math #Just difficulty difference
