Inspired by an earlier post to share this: my mixed tape collection from the 90's. 😅 With some store-bought ones in there as well because I'm never completely organized. It would've been really helpful if I had labeled them more by the artists or genre than just "mix". 😐 I started to in the beginning, but on most tapes the songs and artists are written neatly on the front where you can't see them! Probably haven't played these since the early 2000's and I don't know when I'll ever play them again. So here they sit. 😶

Also found the handmade tape my friends and I recorded one very rainy Labor Day. None of us were really musicians (in fact, it all sounds pretty awful), but I seemed to have fun creating the design for the cassette tape.

But I've been a fan of Bloom County forever, so here's the flexi-disc single for Billy & The Boingers, from the 'Billy & The Boingers Bootleg" Bloom County comic strip anthology. Unfortunately, in my impetuous youth, I trimmed all the excess material off the disc as was indicated on the record, thus destroying its immense future value. This is my absolute favorite gag from the fourth volume of the Bloom County library, in the middle of the Billy and the Boingers run (BB have made a recent re-appearance in the new web version of the strip 😜😜)
