A Cleaner Tomorrow: Replacing Plastic with Biodegradable Items
Tumblr media
As the global environmental crisis intensifies, there is an urgent call for sustainable solutions to reduce pollution and protect ecosystems. One of the most impactful changes we can make is to replace plastic with biodegradable alternatives. By making small adjustments in our daily lives, such as choosing the best non-plastic carry bag in Laxmi Nagar, we can contribute significantly to a cleaner, greener future. In Delhi, various local markets are offering eco-friendly solutions, including biodegradable carry bags and other items that help minimize plastic waste.
The Plastic Problem: An Environmental Threat
Plastic has become a staple in modern life, but it comes at a heavy environmental cost. While it is inexpensive and versatile, plastic takes hundreds, if not thousands, of years to decompose. This slow decomposition contributes to plastic pollution, which is one of the most pressing environmental challenges today. Plastic waste is ubiquitous, often found in oceans, rivers, and even on land. It harms marine life, entangles animals, and causes irreversible damage to ecosystems.
Plastic waste is also a significant contributor to landfills. Since only a small percentage of plastic is recycled, much of it ends up in our environment. The overuse of single-use plastic products, such as plastic bags and straws, exacerbates the situation. Therefore, switching to biodegradable alternatives is one of the most effective ways to combat plastic pollution.
Biodegradable Items: A Step Toward Sustainability
Biodegradable materials are derived from natural sources and decompose quickly without harming the environment. These materials offer an environmentally friendly alternative to plastics, which take centuries to break down. By replacing plastic with biodegradable products, we can significantly reduce the environmental footprint of everyday items.
Biodegradable carry bags are one of the simplest yet most effective solutions to plastic pollution. Made from plant-based materials like cornstarch, jute, or cotton, these bags are designed to break down over time. Unlike plastic bags, which persist in landfills for hundreds of years, biodegradable bags decompose naturally, leaving no harmful residue behind.
In places like Peepal Chowk and Manal Bazaar Road in Delhi, local vendors are increasingly stocking eco-friendly products. From carry bags to packaging, many businesses are shifting toward biodegradable materials to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainability. These small but significant changes are a step in the right direction for a cleaner tomorrow.
Biodegradable Products in Laxmi Nagar
In bustling areas like Laxmi Nagar, which is home to a vibrant market scene, consumers now have access to bio non-plastic features items. These items include biodegradable carry bags, containers, and even utensils made from materials that break down easily in the environment. Shops in Laxmi Nagar have recognized the growing demand for eco-friendly alternatives, and many are offering biodegradable products to help reduce plastic waste.
Choosing biodegradable products is a simple yet effective way to promote environmental sustainability. These items are not only practical and functional but also safe for the planet. By opting for biodegradable bags and packaging, shoppers in Laxmi Nagar contribute to a reduction in plastic pollution, helping to create a cleaner and more sustainable community.
Benefits of Switching to Biodegradable Products
The shift from plastic to biodegradable alternatives offers numerous environmental benefits. First and foremost, biodegradable products reduce the volume of plastic waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. This helps protect wildlife from the harmful effects of plastic pollution, such as ingestion or entanglement.
Second, biodegradable materials are renewable and compostable, making them a more sustainable option than plastic, which relies on fossil fuels for production. Biodegradable items also help conserve resources by reducing the demand for plastic production, which is energy-intensive and polluting.
Lastly, biodegradable products are often safer for humans. Unlike plastic, which can leach harmful chemicals into food and beverages, biodegradable products are made from natural, non-toxic materials, making them safer for everyday use.
Conclusion
Replacing plastic with biodegradable items is essential for a cleaner and more sustainable future. Whether it’s the best non-plastic carry bag in Laxmi Nagar or other biodegradable alternatives, every small step we take can have a positive impact on the environment. By supporting local businesses in Delhi that offer eco-friendly products, we contribute to the global effort to reduce plastic pollution. The transition to biodegradable products is not just a trend but a necessity for the well-being of our planet and future generations.

Plasticizers Market: Trends, Insights & Leading Key Players
Tumblr media
Plasticizers play an indispensable role in modern materials science, particularly in enhancing the flexibility, durability, and longevity of plastics. These chemical additives are primarily used to soften rigid polymers—especially PVC—making them easier to process and more resilient in their final form. From cables and flooring to medical tubing and automotive interiors, plasticizers are embedded in everyday products we often take for granted.
With increasing demand for lightweight, durable, and sustainable materials across industries, the global plasticizers market is poised for steady growth. However, evolving regulations, environmental concerns, and the shift toward bio-based alternatives are reshaping the industry’s landscape.
What Are Plasticizers and Why Do They Matter?
Plasticizers are substances added to polymers to improve their flexibility, elasticity, and workability. By embedding themselves between polymer chains, they reduce the intermolecular forces, allowing the chains to slide past one another more freely. The result? A softer, more pliable plastic that maintains strength while being easier to handle.
The most widely used plasticizers are phthalates, such as DEHP, DINP, and DIDP. However, non-phthalate alternatives like adipates, citrates, benzoates, and epoxies are gaining market share as companies respond to environmental and health-related concerns. Bio-based plasticizers—derived from vegetable oils and other renewable resources—are also gaining traction.
Plasticizers are commonly found in:
PVC cables and wires (for insulation and flexibility)
Vinyl flooring and wall coverings
Automotive parts and dashboards
Medical devices like IV bags and tubing
Packaging films and synthetic leather
Market Overview and Growth Drivers
The global plasticizers market was valued at USD 13.5 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach approximately USD 17.4 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 5.2%. Several factors contribute to this momentum:
Booming Construction Sector: Infrastructure development, especially in Asia-Pacific, drives demand for flexible PVC products like flooring, roofing membranes, and cables.
Automotive Innovation: With vehicle interiors becoming more lightweight and feature-rich, plasticizers ensure materials meet both design and durability standards.
Healthcare Advancements: Medical-grade plasticizers used in IV bags, blood containers, and tubing ensure safety, flexibility, and sterilizability.
Electrification and 5G Infrastructure: Cables and wiring used in data centers, EVs, and smart grids require plasticizers for insulation and longevity.
Sustainability Push: Regulatory shifts, especially in Europe and North America, are accelerating the adoption of non-phthalate and bio-based plasticizers.
Regulatory Landscape and Environmental Trends
Plasticizers, particularly phthalates, have been under increased scrutiny due to potential health and environmental concerns. Regulatory bodies such as REACH (EU), EPA (US), and RoHS have imposed restrictions on certain phthalates in consumer and medical products. As a result, there's a strong pivot toward:
Non-phthalate plasticizers that offer similar performance without toxicity concerns.
Bio-based and renewable plasticizers that lower carbon footprint and align with circular economy principles.
Companies are investing in R&D to develop safe, high-performance plasticizers that meet both regulatory and consumer expectations.
Key Players in the Plasticizers Market
Several global chemical companies are at the forefront of the plasticizers market, offering diverse product portfolios and sustainable innovations:
BASF SE (Germany) – A leader in both traditional and eco-friendly plasticizers, including Hexamoll® DINCH and Palatinol®.
Evonik Industries (Germany) – Focuses on high-performance specialty plasticizers for cables, films, and automotive uses.

"A German bio-tech company has developed a naturally-occurring enzyme discovered in a cemetery into a near-market ready solution for recycling plastic without any loss of quality.
In 2022, GNN reported on a paper published by Leipzig-based scientists who first identified the enzyme. At the time, the enzyme was subject to a small side-by-side test, and caused the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic to decompose by a whopping 90%.
Tumblr media
Pictured: Before and After: A container of PET after 24 hours of contact with the enzyme leaves only dye
Fast forward to the spring of 2025 and those same scientists have perfected the capabilities of that enzyme, called PHL7, and have founded ESTER Biotech to bring those capabilities to market.
Their initial plan to be finished next year is a bathtub-sized pilot project reactor. If successful, their 2030 plan will be four 350 cubic-meter reactors capable of processing 45,000 metric tons of PET plastic every year.
PHL7 and ESTER Biotech boast several advantages over chemical and thermal recycling methods. For starters, once the polymers of PET are broken by the enzyme into monomers, or single component parts, they have suffered no degradation of their material characteristics unlike some recycled plastic which is weaker or less stable.
Additionally, PHL7 is exceptionally stable from 32 to 203 degrees Fahrenheit (0-95°C), and per kilogram of plastic, a dose of only 0.02% to 0.06% of the enzyme is required—substantially less than existing alternatives. Their new version of the enzyme also recycles the plastic several hours faster.
“Our technology makes it possible to bring material flows that are currently burned back to the beginning of the cycle at the molecular level,” says Christian Sonnendecker, lead author on the paper of the enzyme’s discovery, and co-founder of ESTER Biotech at the University of Leipzig. “And with high energy efficiency and scalability.”
“We are only at the beginning. But we are convinced that when science, entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility come together, a cemetery enzyme can become a beacon of hope for a better future.”
RECYCLING BREAKTHROUGHS:
Scientists in Japan Develop Non-Toxic Plastic That Dissolves in Seawater Within Hours
Cornell Researchers Create First-of-its-Kind Durable and Recyclable Plastic
New Process ‘Vaporizes’ Plastic Bags and Bottles to Help Make Recycled Materials
Revolutionary New ‘Living Plastic’ That Could Slash Damage to the Environment Developed by California Researchers
ESTER Biotech’s enzyme is able to separate certain multilayer composites which are normally thought of as unrecyclable. In addition to the infrastructure of the pilot project, ESTER is currently working with two medium-sized partners to build a cost-efficient supply chain with an aim to reduce the enzyme price to between 100 and 200 euros per kilogram.
Though no currently-commercialized recycling method can compete with the cost of virgin plastic, a price between 100 and 200 euros will put it in line with existing competitors.
Fortunately for anyone in the space, the EU is not afraid to use heavy-handed regulation to guarantee plastic recycling rates. By 2040, under existing EU legislation, 65% of plastic production will be mandated to come from recycled sources. ESTER believes that with its potential to offer a higher quality “recyclate,” the incentive to pursue and expand enzymatic methods will increase."

@redghostbirdy Dick/Danny, skeleton shaped sugar cookies cw blood and stitches
Of course Dick still had to take his trash out after getting back from patrol. He was exhausted and wounded, but the trash had really gotten untenable and now had bio-waste in it. He had to take it down to the dumpster. It was almost a compulsion at that point to get it taken care of, or he knew he wouldn’t sleep well. As much as his family teased him about the state of his apartment he had his limits.
So, Dick tied up the bag, tugged it free of the bin, managed to slip on some shoes after a few attempts, and headed out into the hallway. And right into his neighbor.
His hot, brick wall of a neighbor that could totally bench press Dick in all the meanings of that phrase that Dick had totally been thinking a little too much about for the last few months.
“Whoa, careful there, darlin’,” Danny drawled, steadying Dick with large hands on both of Dick’s shoulders. “What are you doing wandering around out here at this time?”
“Um, trash?” Dick said ineloquently and raised the bag a little. The bag which apparently was leaking because his hand was wet.
Dick looked down at his hand and the red blood that coated it. Did his stitches pop?
“Ah, fuck,” Danny cussed and stepped back a little.
(Embarrassingly, Dick almost swayed after him.)
Danny lifted up the edge of his shirt, which may have killed what was left of Dick’s brain functions, to show blood flaked skin and—
“Is that a menstrual pad covering a wound?!”
Danny shrugged. “It’s just a little knife wound and Jess, the bouncer, hand one handy.”
“Oh my god. Just, come on, we’re getting that stitched up or at least bandaged properly,” Dick said. He set his bag of trash down by the door and grabbed Danny’s hand with his clean one to drag the bemused man into his apartment.
Luckily the first aid kit was still out on the little island counter and Dick all but pushed Danny onto one of the stools. Dick peeled the offending pad off maybe a little more harshly than was necessary and found a plastic bag to drop it into.
“I can’t believe that’s what you were using. And you call that little? How did you even get that? You’re the bartender! You’re supposed to be behind the bar.”
Danny just shrugged, an easy going and not at all repentant grin on his face. “I had to stop someone from being a creep.”
Dick just glared, mildly, at him as he washed his hands. He couldn’t really argue with that. He snapped on some gloves instead and set about cleaning Danny’s wound.
“I think this could use some stitches. I can do them, but I can also just get you patched up enough to go to urgent care if you’d feel more comfortable with that.”
“You can do them.”
“…yeah?” Dick asked just to be sure and glanced up at Danny.
Danny shrugged again. “I mean, you do have a very well stocked first aid kit on your counter already. Why was that?”
“Hush.”
Dick covered the area around the wound with a numbing agent while Danny chuckled at the non answer.
“If I promise to be a better patient than your students, do I get a cute bandage?”
Dick smiled despite himself as he threaded the needle. “All the cute bandages are at the gym. Stay still now.”
“Damn,” Danny said, and then waited until after Dick had started the stitches to ask, “What about a lollipop?”
“I might have some jelly beans still,” Dick said, grinning now. He kept his eyes on his work though, not wanting to give Danny uneven stitches.
Thankfully, Danny didn’t need that many and Dick was soon tying them off and taking a step back.
“No fun bandage, no lollipop,” Danny sighed, “what about a kiss to make it all better?”
Dick’s gaze shot up to look at Danny and his cheeky little smirk.
“Or did I miss read things completely?”
Dick rolled his eyes at Danny’s confidence, though it made him smile. “I think a kiss to make it better I can do.”
Danny’s smile turned into a full on grin. “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” Dick said and leaned in to press his lips to Danny’s.
He tasted like spice, lime, and sugar.

Unethical fur farms, Yarn tails and Faux fur
It's a little alarming that people may not know about cruelty fur farms and unethical fur tails, so I'll put my little guide on how I usually spot them. I'll also have a little section comparing faux fur, yarn tails and real tails.
How to spot Unethically sourced fur
Everything I know is by my experience, as well as research I have done via youtube videos. Thorn from Therian Territiory has an excellent video talking about the subject, (Click Here) But I will summerise below if you want to get straight to the point.
A key feature I find when it comes to unethical tails is this goddamn golden keychain
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have 4 tails with this keychain and all of them are of varying quality - however I don't doubt they are from unethical fur farms.
Another key detail is The tail is thin, the fur brittle and the leather has not been scraped correctly, meaning there is fat from the animal it once came from. Have you ever bought a tail, looking at the leather within and there has been yellow patches? That is animal fat that should have been scraped away.
I avoid buying from Chinese or Korean sellers as that is usually where unethical fur comes from, there are very little rights to animals within these countries, so there is no guarantee the animal had a good life before being killed. As stated earlier, Thorn goes into detail on this subject, although I must warn you the contents He speaks about are quite upsetting.
I would also avoid buying from Amazon, temu, wish, shein and Ebay, as the tails bought from these sites are usually of questionable Quality.
So, where can I buy ethical fur from...?
I highly recommend Etsy, Always check the reviews from sellers - check how thin the tail is and check for that pesky key chain. As a personal caution, beware of cheap tails as there is a good chance they are drop shipped from unethical fur farms, I'd bought a cheap tail from a sale here in Australia (With the golden keychain) and the tail was sadly not great Quality...So always check for that keychain. I hear people can buy tails from Renfaires, oddity and taxidermy markets.

Authentic fur vs Yarn tails vs Faux Fur
I've seen there's quite a debate on which is the best to buy and best for the enviroment. I'm sure all of you have your reasons for swinging this way or that way, so I'll just list some pros and cons
Authentic Tails
Pros
Good for the environment as it is bio-degradable
Beautiful to look at
you will never find 2 identical tails
If well looked after, can last you a lifetime
supporting small buisness
Cons
Expensive
From a real animal
Yarn Tails
Pros
Fun craft
heavily customizable
cheap to make
Cons
Time consuming to make
Getting the supplies can be a pain
not completely biodegradable (Yarn has plastic)
Faux Fur
Pros
An animal didn't have to die for it
Durable if made right
Cons
not bio-degradable (Faux fur has plastic)
faux fur is expensive

ANON, IT'S BEEN 84 BILLION YEARS... ARE YOU STILL OUT THERE 😭😭😭
It’s 5/7 for a few more hours here still, aka n/anag/o day!! So I’m taking it as a sign to kick myself in the ass and drop a little n/anag/o treat for you all 🤑 I loved writing this when I first started it, and then I lowkey forgot about it, and THEN couldn't find the document when I remembered it existed... 😭 it’s been a long journey for a mere 2k words, woof!
Fanfic Masterlist
It’s surely the flu. Surely. Anything else would feel far better than this.
Far better than the brain fog, the lethargy, the massive pressure behind his eyes and sinuses.
Far better than the fever that stole his sleep last night, left only to shiver, sweat. Too hot with a blanket, too cold without.
And anything else would be far, far better than the body aches. That was the worst of all, the thing that dug the last nail into Nanami's personal coffin. Everything hurt, dull yet wickedly persistent- even the very hairs on his head weren't an exception. He didn't know hair was capable of hurting, and boy, he's finding it out the hard way.
And maybe, maybe, despite all that, it would all be far better, if not for the annoying weight currently clinging to Nanami’s shoulders.
“Get off of me.” Gojo only presses into him heavier, mocking the few inches of height he has on him.
“Come back to bed then,” Gojo whines in his ear. Nanami’s headache squeezes tighter at his temples.
He sighs, breath crackling unpleasantly in the lower depths of his lungs. Though grating, Gojo’s voice has never sounded so convincing. “Trust me, I wish I hadn’t left.” The misconduct in his lungs catches on the end of his words with a weak, wheezing cough.
It should motivate him, at least. The sooner he gets this done, the sooner he can go back to bed, and hopefully, sleep.
Gojo rests his head on Nanami’s shoulder, idly watching him tear open the plastic wrapping in his hands. “Why even bother testing?” he mumbles, cheek squished against him.
“I need proof to get time off.”
“Man, your job sucks.”
“Thangks, Captain Obvious.” Nanami wishes again that he would stop talking, just so he didn’t have to hear himself reply. The congestion dragging his consonants down is unpleasant to his ears, only worse layered over the roughness of a sore throat.
While Gojo manages to hold his tongue, Nanami assesses the items below him. He hovers his hand above the test kit on the counter, with a long q-tip lazingly perched between two fingers. His eyes glaze over the instructions; this isn't the first time he’s ever taken such a test, but a refresher never hurts.
… Whether looking at it actually helped refresh anything was contentious, however. The font and diagrams were muddy where they lay, only legible enough to jog his memory.
15 seconds in both sides, mix the end into the tube of fluid, place a few drops into the test strip, and then wait for the result that wouldn't surprise anyone with an ounce of common sense.
Easy enough.
…Sort of. Nanami’s eyes water the instant the cotton swab touches just inside one nostril. A sharp tingle radiates up into his sinuses and lingers. He dreads actually moving the thing, knowing it will only prod and tease at each swollen, sensitive nerve within.
Simply holding it in place won't do him any good either, though. He does as instructed, swirling the cotton tip along the walls of his nasal passages in a circular motion. The urge to sneeze increases tenfold. Nanami scrunches the bridge of his nose, eyes squeezed in a tight, focused squint.
Gojo notices all of this, much to his dismay. “Don’t sneeze…” he sings into his ear.
And Nanami nearly does. “HHdt-!” Tongue smacked to the roof of his mouth, he manages to withhold the urge from completely seizing him. But just barely. He blinks tears from his eyes.
“Cand you please nod- guh…” Nanami is left with a lingering, even thicker congestion, if that's even possible. He should really blow his nose, except that he also really shouldn't, not until this test was over.
The cotton swab dips into his other nostril- the one that's more sensitive of the two, because of course one of them has to be. It's the one Gojo has a better view of, too. Oh, joy.
Nanami’s breath catches almost instantly, only to release in an uncertain, tight exhale. “...hehh…” Gojo sees his abused nostril flare up and twitch, hiking upward as the entire bridge of his nose crinkled. Torturously, he swirls the cotton swab once, twice, three times. Hand trembling, breath shaking. The natural lines of his face turn more rigid to match his expression, barely holding it together.
Don’t sneeze. Don't sneeze. Gojo’s earlier advice echoes in his head, much as he loathed it at the time. Just a few more seconds…
“That looks like it really tickles…”
It's a few more seconds too long, and Gojo’s urging is the final straw. “hhuH-!” Nanami gasps loudly, urgently, shuddering under the other sorcerer’s still incessantly pressed weight on him. That inward breath messily crashes into the main production- “hEHH’SHIEhh-! hEHHH’ZSHHieh-!” His shoulders jostle violently. His throat barks through the deepest parts of it, fully exposing the flu-centered trauma his vocal cords carry.
Spray sprinkles wet, grey dots in a random pattern on his shirt, baggy and soft to the touch. Gojo’s weight against him only lightens a little, although Nanami is too distracted to care or notice. “hhdh… hiH-!” Without opening his eyes, he draws up for a precursor to another sneeze. He clumsily grabs the collar of his shirt, ducking down within the fabric this time- “hiehHH’SCHFHH-!”
Oh, God.
“Oh. Bless you.”
Gojo says it like he's surprised to hear him sneeze. Nanami feels a vein threaten to bulge on his temple.
Pinching away any excess evidence with his shirt- he winces when the damp fabric touches back to his chest- Nanami re-emerges with a scowl no less irritated than before. In his other hand hovers the soiled cotton swab, having been yanked from his nose the second before disaster.
He blinks away the stars that dance in his vision, wondering if it's possible to actually sneeze his brains out. The pain behind his eyes swells significantly, heightening his suspicions. Ugh.
He glances back down at the instructions. Right, next step. Into the tube the cotton swab goes, and Nanami swirls it, pushing against the sides of it. Just watching the motion stirs a tingle high in his sinuses, having not quite abandoned the sensation of the swirling motion.
Nanami glances at his watch after applying a few drops to the test strip. 6:51. He'd know by 7:06, then.
Gojo watches him set his watch, cheek pressed into his shoulder. “Hm… I don’t see anything in those instructions about sneezing all over yourself?” he teases.
The vein from before does finally bulge on his temple. He’s almost- almost- exhausted enough to sigh another sigh and let it go. But there’s fifteen minutes he needs to kill before he can send his halfwitted boss a picture of this stupid test, and Gojo doesn’t sound like he’s going to become any less insufferable in that time.
A taste of his own medicine might shut him up, or at the very least dent his pride. The unopened test kit resting on the counter is snatched into Nanami’s hand. He pauses for a dreadfully damp sniffle. “Gojo, I don't suppose you'd like to show me how to do this properly, then?”
Silence. Then, the other man tilts his head. “That’d be a waste of a good test, wouldn't it?”
“Haven't you considered that I might be contagious?” Might be, he says- more like definitely, absolutely. “Antivirals work better if you catch it early, you know.” Nanami maintains an even tone under the blanketing congestion.
“ …My Infinity protects me.”
Nanami pulls the new, fresh cotton swab from its packaging, careful not to touch the soft end. “You’re touching me right now, though.” And all this morning. And all last night. Satoru Gojo, the Strongest, Clingiest, Sorcerer in the world.
Said Sorcerer finds nothing to argue back with, instead speaking a short, “Fine.” Though his blindfold conceals his eyes, the pout on his lips is enough for Nanami to imagine the faux, pity-seeking look they’re wearing. Good thing he knows better than to fall for it.
Quicker than before, Nanami arranges the test tube and test strip on the counter top. Fresh cotton swab still in hand, Gojo actually steps back an inch when he faces him, showing reluctance. It's a rare emotion for him to express so physically.
He takes Gojo’s chin in one hand, holding him in place. The other man grimaces. “Hey, I can do it- myself, ya know…!”
”This is how Shoko would do it, and a doctor knows best. Chin up.” His hand grips a little firmer, and he tilts Gojo’s head up and towards himself. It’s an angle suited to expose his- and he hates to admit it- absolutely perfect nose. A straight, long bridge complimented by a set of narrow, symmetrical nostrils, all aesthetically framed by the dark fabric of his blindfold.
Given a few minutes though, it won't look nearly as composed.
Nanami doesn’t bother to warn Gojo when he slips the cotton swab into his nose. The other man gasps reflexively, and the bridge shivers in protest. Nanami’s hold on his chin keeps him steady though.
Any other day and he certainly wouldn't tolerate getting sneezed on- especially by someone who got on his nerves so regularly. But considering current circumstances, he can't find it in himself to care. He fully intends to change into a fresh pair of sweats after this test, not to mention that he's already dealt with enough of his own outbursts and fluids in the last 24 hours- what's a little more?
It would be worth the brief euphoria that came with getting payback, until his headache along with all the other bits of his misery tugged him out of that moment.
He changes the angle of the swab just slightly, softly bumping the shallow top wall of his nasal passages. Gojo swallows under Nanami’s palm. A circle is drawn along the rims of one nostril, and then another. His lips part to whine, but the sound melts into a telltale hitch.
“Nanhha- Nanami, whhait-hih-hihHH’SHIhh-!” Nanami doesn’t stop, nor does Gojo. “hyH’SHh-! ihhk‘SHieh-!” They’re fittish, rapid, and yet they drag out of him, like the last bit of juice squeezed from a lemon. He's trying to hold them back, but his willpower is faltering under Nanami's efforts and hurling out his throat instead.
A few more sneezes later, and Nanami gauges it's been long enough. He wordlessly removes the torture device from Gojo’s nose, and he sighs something between relief, exasperation, and another sneeze stopped in its tracks. He sniffles and tries to pull away, but Nanami tuts his disapproval.
“Still need to do the other side.” He doesn't allow Gojo so much as a spare breath to fight him on it. The nasal swab is already pressed to his septum, just inside the other nostril.
The tighter, desperate pinch of his eyebrows is visible even through his blindfold. Gojo’s lip quivers. He actually manages to hold it together this time- for the first five seconds.
Then…
“hih…hh, hihH-! hh…ghh-hiHH-! Hhp’TSHhh-! hihT’SHh-! Hh-hhH… HH’TShiew-! hY’ISHH-!”
His nostrils turn pink, shiny at the rims. Nanami ignores the mist settling on his wrist in progressively wetter qualities. It's generously soaking him when he decides again that he's done enough again, and he promptly wipes his hand on the leg of his sweatpants.
Gojo’s repeated sniffling, panting, and whining is mere background noise as he goes through the motions of this test.
“Nanamiiii… you're so meannn…”
Without taking his eyes off his watch to acknowledge Gojo’s Man-Child-like behavior, Nanami hands him a tissue. He always keeps a box close at a time like this. “Blow your nose, Gojo.”
There's still about 10 minutes left until he can actually consider this hassle taken care of.
Well, one hassle taken care of, anyway. Gojo has regrettably pressed himself back against him, sinuses cleared into a now crumpled tissue. “Can we please just go lay back down now?”
That, Nanami could seriously consider. A dull throb trickles back up into his head, coupled with a growing feeling he'd swallowed glass in his throat. He may as well take Gojo up on this- standing here isn't doing him any good.
A fresh change of clothes and a new dose of ibuprofen later, and enough time has passed that Nanami’s watch goes off, once for his test, which he snapped a picture of, and then again a few minutes later.
Test results on Nanami’s read positive- no surprise. Test results on Gojo’s read negative- for now, at least.

Tumblr media
You come out of the changing room and peek at the wall mirror as you pass. You admire your new bubblegum pink leggings and polka dot top. It’s a bit out there but you’ve seen neons in this place that make your retinas burn. Besides, you’ve never been shy when it comes to fashion. It’s not just your passion, it’s your job.
It’s late enough that the bodies there are far and few between. You prefer the nights when the gym feels like a ghost town. The air is quiet but not stagnant.
Your water bottle swings on its handle from your hand as your bouncy steps keep in time with the boppy music thrumming in your earbuds. Your workout mix is a nice blend of retro and contemporary bass hits. You catch yourself humming and stamp it down. Sometimes, you forget other people can perceive you, not that there’s many around to so.
You find an empty mat. They all are. You put your bottle down and start your stretches. Your late night sessions help clear your mind though it never really stops. In your mind, you’re seeing pleats, seams, and ruffles.
Your body moves without thinking. It’s all muscle memory. You’re no gym rat, you don’t go that hard, just enough to loosen up your muscles. Your note overly swoll as the young ones call it. You’re fit enough for a light jog and the stairs don’t leave you winded like they used to.
After your stretches, you slurp loudly from the straw of your water bottle, walking with it still between your lips as you head for an elliptical. You can just let the repetitive motion take over. You pop your lips off the tub and slip the bottle into the little plastic holder on the side of the machine.
As you climb up, you see another figure across the floor. The man sits on the end of a weight bench. For a moment, it looks, even feels, like he’s watching you. From there, you can’t see very well. You don’t wear your glasses in the gym since you lost a pair to a hungry leg press.
You can make out dark hair and his burly form. Hazy but wide enough to clock. Most people around here are stacked. You’re too casual for all that. And you like a piece of tiramisu with your Friday lattes.
You pick your speed and start to climb. You cling to the machine and rock your head to the music. Once more, your throat vibrates and you have to remind yourself to stop. You can’t help it, you love Destiny’s child. Does that date you? For someone working in fashion, you can’t ever risk that.
You zone out, vision blurring as you let your body do the work. The sweat speckles and slicks across your skin. Damn, you might just be bootylicious after this work out.
Your fitbit rumbles and you look down. You’re in the zone. You keep going until you hit thirty minutes and slow down. You cool off for ten minutes and swipe up your bottle, sucking on it greedily as you head back to the mats.
You swing out your arms and stretch your legs in slowly lunges. You bend forward, touching each toe with opposite hand, lingering with your ass up as you brace your hips. A sudden clang has you standing straight so fast you nearly topple onto your butt.
You throw out your arms to catch your balance as you let out a pathetic, ‘woah-oh-oh'. You look over at the man as begins reps with the heavy dumbbells. You’ve never gotten above the tens. His blue eyes flash in your direction and you give a sheepish smile.
You don’t want to seem weird so you return to your stretches. Arms up, lean to one side, then the other. You hear a strange rumble, like thunder, and look over at the man as he continues to work his traps, staring at you. You could even call it a glare.
You tap your ear bud as you face him, “sorry?”
“Do you have to make that noise?” He snarls.
Your brows pop up. We’re you humming again? Oops.
“Sorry, I didn’t realise I was,” you smile and before you can tap play, he scoffs.
“Typical,” he grumbles as alternates to biceps.
He’s built. He’s arms are bigger than your head. Probably. You don’t think he’d let you compare for scale. You drop your hand without tapping.
You get down and extend your legs in front of you. His breaths underline your movement as you bend one leg over the other and push your straight arm against it as you twist. As you do the other side, facing him, his gaze flicks over again.
“You put more time into choosing that outfit than you do working out,” he shakes his head.
You blanch. Oh wow. You must have been really out of tune if he’s that grumpy. You give a tight-lipped smile and keep going. He’s not the first grouch you’ve dealt with. Your editor is a chronic miser.
You straight arms and legs and bend to touch your toes. You then pull your arms back and plant your hands. You lift your pelvis and torso and lean your head back, raising yourself in a straight line as you hang your head back.
“Form is off,” he mutters.
You lower back down and look at him again.
“Oh, uh, do you have any tips?” You ask curiously. He grimaces. You push your shoulders up and tilt your head, “well, if you think of any, I'd be happy to work on it. I’d hate to hurt myself.”
You get to your knees and groan as you push yourself to your feet. He tuts as gets down to plank, still gripping the weights. He lifts the left and puts it back down, then the right. You watch him for a minute, impressed by his strength. Your wary of lifting too much, you don’t trust yourself.
“You think your cute,” he sneers under his breath.
“Um, sometimes,” you hover across from him, “I just thought you might know more than me--”
“Of course I do,” he puffs between lifts.
“Mm, okay, well, I’d love to learn--”
“They got trainers for that,” he snips as he finishes his reps and puts his knees down.
“Right, um, sorry to bother then. I was only... asking,” you turn and grab your bottle.
You flip the top up again and slurp. You get to the bottom, sucking air loudly up before giving up. He huffs and stands with the weights, slamming them back on the rack.
“Do you have to make so much goddamn noise?” He stands straight and turns to you, crossing his thick arms. You stop short and part your lips.
“It’s empty, I didn’t--”
“It’s not the only thing’s that empty,” he taps his skull, “go back to the mall, girl.”
You scrunch your nose, “you don’t have to be rude, mister.”
“Honesty is a gift,” he snorts.
You pull your chin back. You didn’t mean to annoy him and you apologised already. You’re a nice person but you don’t appreciate his tone.
“Well, if I’m being honest,” you put your hands on your hips, “you’re not very nice.”
He chortles as a crease forms in his forehead, “and you’re not as cute as you think.”
“What does it matter what I think I am?” You challenge, “I didn’t ask you.”
“No, you just float around like some airhead and disturb everyone else,” he accuses.
You peer around, “there’s no one here.”
He drops his arms and lifts his chin. He steps forward and you waver, just a bit, put off by his size.
“I’m here,” he says.
You blink. What does that mean?
He takes another step and you stare at him, necks and cheek burning. His words strike an epiphany. It’s just you and him. He’s a lot stronger than you.
Another step and you put your hands up, “mister, you better not come any closer.”
He scoffs again, “or what? Are you going to cry?”
You pout and shake your head, “no, but I... I could scream. Or bite.”
He shakes his head, “what do you think I’m gonna do, girl? That’s what you do, isn’t it? Make yourself the victim. You need the attention to make you feel special.”
He’s getting closer.
“I said stay away,” you project your voice as best you can, “I’m not afraid of you, mister.”
He chuckles and tilts his head. He stops, just a step away from you, “aren’t you?’
Your eyes meet his and you stand trapped in the snare of his glower. His blue eyes are deep and fiery, his chiseled face is framed by dark curls and a thick beard, and his chin is cleft handsomely. He’s fearsome, a bear in man’s flesh. You’re no more than helpless hare.
You back away and his mouth slants in triumph. He’s won. You turn and gulp, gripping tight your bottle as your sneaker squeaks loudly. You scurry away, buzzing with adrenaline.
“That’s right, you run away, girl, run as fast as you can,” he calls after you, “not very, I’m sure.”
You keep a brisk walk as you hurry towards the locker room and push inside. Your heart is hammering and your breathless as you reach your locker. You put the bottle on the bench and clutch the sides of your head. You’re dizzy as you try to get a rein on your frazzled nerves.
You thought you left the bullies behind in high school, over a decade ago. In that second, you’re right back in your teenage years. Your eyes sting with tears and your stomach churns with humiliation. That glimmer of insecurity creeps back into you.
No, no. You’re an adult. You’re a grown woman. You have a job and a life you love. You’re nothing they said you were. You proved them all wrong and you will prove that butthead wrong too.

The evolutionary trajectory of life on Earth has consistently challenged preconceived notions regarding the boundaries of biological viability. From the abyssal depths where chemosynthetic ecosystems flourish in the absence of solar radiation, to the hyperacidic geothermal springs where extremophiles exploit sulfur-based metabolic pathways, to the radiologically contaminated zones where fungal organisms appear to harness ionizing radiation through melanin-mediated processes, life has demonstrated remarkable plasticity in colonizing environments previously deemed sterile. This paradigmatic expansion of the habitable envelope naturally raises a provocative question: if biological systems can withstand the vacuum of space, lethal radiation doses, and corrosive chemical matrices, what fundamental constraints preclude the existence of life within molten silicate matrices—commonly known as lava?
Distinguishing Extreme Environments from Thermodynamically Prohibitive Conditions
To address this question rigorously, it is essential to establish a clear demarcation between environments that impose severe physiological stress and those that fundamentally disrupt molecular architecture. Lava represents molten silicate material with temperatures typically ranging from 973 to 1473 Kelvin (700°C to 1,200°C or 1,292°F to 2,192°F), creating conditions that exceed the thermal stability thresholds of all known biomolecules. This temperature regime does not merely stress biological systems—it induces catastrophic molecular dissociation and structural denaturation.
The thermodynamic reality of molten rock environments differs qualitatively from other extreme conditions. While ionizing radiation can cause DNA strand breaks that are potentially repairable through enzymatic mechanisms, and vacuum conditions can be survived through cryptobiotic states that suspend metabolic activity, the thermal energy present in lava fundamentally disrupts the covalent bonds that maintain molecular integrity. This represents a transition from survivable stress to inevitable molecular decomposition.
Biochemical Constraints of Carbon-Based Life
Contemporary terrestrial biology operates within a relatively narrow thermodynamic window defined by the stability of carbon-hydrogen bonds, phosphodiester linkages in nucleic acids, and the hydrophobic interactions that stabilize protein tertiary structure. Even the most thermoresistant extremophiles operate within these fundamental constraints. Methanopyrus kandleri, representing the current temperature record-holder among hyperthermophiles, maintains viability at 395 Kelvin (122°C) through specialized heat-shock proteins and thermostable enzyme variants, yet remains orders of magnitude below lava temperatures.
The molecular basis of this limitation is well-characterized. DNA undergoes thermal denaturation at approximately 368 Kelvin (95°C) under physiological conditions, while cell membrane phospholipids experience phase transitions that compromise barrier function well below 423 Kelvin (150°C). Even the most thermostable proteins, such as those found in hyperthermophilic archaea, lose catalytic function at temperatures that represent merely the lower bounds of molten rock environments.
However, this analysis is predicated upon the assumption that life universally adheres to terrestrial biochemical paradigms. The emerging field of astrobiology has increasingly challenged anthropocentric definitions of biological possibility, suggesting that alternative bio-chemistries might operate under fundamentally different thermodynamic constraints.
Alternative Biochemical Frameworks and Exotic Life Scenarios
The potential for non-carbon-based life has garnered serious consideration within the astrobiological community, particularly regarding silicon-based biochemistry. Silicon, sharing carbon's tetravalent bonding capacity, theoretically enables the formation of complex molecular architectures while potentially offering superior thermal stability. Silicon-oxygen bonds (Si-O) possess higher bond dissociation energies compared to carbon-hydrogen bonds, suggesting that silicon-based polymers might maintain structural integrity at elevated temperatures. However, silicon chemistry also presents significant limitations, including reduced structural flexibility and a tendency toward crystallization rather than the formation of dynamic, self-organizing systems characteristic of carbon-based life.
Beyond alternative elemental foundations, theoretical frameworks have been proposed for organisms incorporating inorganic protective matrices. Terrestrial precedent exists in biomineralizing organisms such as magnetotactic bacteria, which precipitate magnetite nanoparticles, and diatoms, which construct intricate silica frustules. Extrapolating from these examples, hypothetical organisms might evolve refractory ceramic or metallic shells capable of providing thermal insulation against extreme temperature gradients.
Recent discoveries have expanded our understanding of extremophile capabilities in ways that inform this discussion. The identification of radiotrophic fungi in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, which appear to metabolize ionizing radiation through melanin-mediated electron transport chains, demonstrates that life can not only survive but potentially thrive by exploiting energy sources previously considered universally destructive. Similarly, the rapid evolution of plastic-metabolizing bacteria in marine environments illustrates the remarkable adaptability of biological systems to novel chemical landscapes.
Transient Survivability and Cryptobiotic Strategies
A more plausible scenario for life's interaction with lava environments involves transient rather than permanent exposure. Many extremophiles employ cryptobiotic strategies—reversible metabolic suspension coupled with enhanced molecular protection—to survive otherwise lethal conditions. Tardigrades exemplify this approach, entering a desiccated "tun" state while producing damage-suppressing proteins and trehalose disaccharides that stabilize cellular structures during cryptobiosis.
Bacterial endospores represent perhaps the most relevant analogue for potential lava survival. These dormant structures, surrounded by multiple protective coats including calcium dipicolinate deposits, can withstand temperatures exceeding 393 Kelvin (120°C) for extended periods. Theoretical extensions of this strategy might enable organisms to survive brief transits through molten environments while in extreme cryptobiotic states, potentially reactivating within cooling lava tubes or solidified volcanic substrates rich in chemically accessible minerals.
Microenvironmental Niches and Thermal Gradients
The assumption that lava presents a uniformly lethal environment may itself be overly simplistic. Volcanic systems create complex thermal gradients with numerous microenvironments that might fall within the expanded tolerance ranges of extremophile organisms. Lava tubes, formed by the drainage of molten rock from beneath solidified crusts, can maintain moderate temperatures while providing access to mineral-rich substrates and potentially reducing atmospheric conditions. Similarly, the interfaces between active lava flows and ambient environments create steep thermal gradients where temperatures might transitionally approach the upper limits of hyperthermophile tolerance.
Subglacial volcanic systems present particularly intriguing possibilities. In these environments, the interaction between molten rock and ice creates complex thermal and chemical gradients, potentially generating microenvironments with temperatures compatible with extremophile survival while providing access to both oxidized and reduced chemical species for metabolic exploitation.
Geochemical Considerations and Deep Crustal Environments
The boundary between "lava" and "hot rock" is not merely semantic but reflects important distinctions in habitability potential. While actively molten rock exceeds known biological tolerance limits, the cooling and crystallization process creates a continuum of environments with varying thermal and chemical properties. Recent investigations of deep crustal microbial communities have revealed active biological processes at depths exceeding 5 kilometers, where temperatures approach 353 Kelvin (80°C) and pressure exceeds 50 megapascals.
These discoveries suggest that the transition zone between molten and solid rock—the crystallization front—might represent a previously unconsidered habitat. As cooling magma transitions from liquid to solid phases, it creates chemical gradients, gas evolution, and mineral precipitation that could potentially support specialized extremophile communities adapted to exploit these dynamic geochemical processes.
Synthesis and Future Directions
While current thermodynamic principles and biochemical knowledge suggest that conventional carbon-based life cannot maintain active metabolism within actively molten silicate environments, several theoretical pathways remain unexplored. These include:
alternative biochemistries operating at elevated temperature ranges
cryptobiotic survival strategies enabling transient exposure to extreme thermal conditions
exploitation of microenvironmental niches within complex volcanic systems
The question of life's ultimate temperature limits intersects with broader philosophical issues regarding the universality of terrestrial biochemical paradigms. As astrobiology continues to expand our conception of habitable environments—from the methane lakes of Titan to the sulfuric acid clouds of Venus to the subsurface oceans of Europa and Enceladus—the dismissal of any extreme environment as definitively uninhabitable requires increasingly rigorous justification.
The emerging understanding that life can exploit energy sources as diverse as ionizing radiation, methane seepage, and hydrogen sulfide suggests that our current models of biological impossibility may be overly conservative. While the direct colonization of actively molten rock remains highly improbable given known biochemical constraints, the complex thermal, chemical, and physical gradients associated with volcanic systems present numerous opportunities for life to approach—and potentially breach—previously assumed thermodynamic boundaries.
Future investigations might profitably focus on the systematic characterization of thermal gradients within volcanic systems, the laboratory evolution of hyperthermophile organisms under progressively elevated temperature regimes, and the theoretical modeling of alternative biochemistries capable of maintaining functionality at extreme temperatures. As our understanding of life's fundamental limits continues to evolve, the boundary between the possible and impossible remains not fixed, but perpetually expanding.
The ultimate question may not be whether life can survive in lava, but rather how closely life can approach the thermodynamic limits of molecular stability—and what new definitions of "life" might emerge from these investigations.

Tumblr media
The plasticizers market plays an indispensable role in modern manufacturing and industrial applications, enabling flexibility and durability in a wide range of materials, primarily plastics. This dynamic and growing market is evolving rapidly due to various factors including regulatory changes, shifting consumer preferences, and technological advancements. This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the current state of the global plasticizers market, highlighting key trends, challenges, and the future outlook
I. Overview of the Plasticizers Market
Plasticizers are additives that enhance the plasticity, flexibility, and durability of materials, particularly polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is widely used in construction, automotive, healthcare, and consumer goods industries. The global plasticizers market was valued at USD 17.0 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach USD 22.5 billion by 2027, growing at a cagr 5.7% from 2022 to 2027.  Key drivers of this growth include increasing demand for flexible PVC in construction, packaging, and automotive sectors, as well as the ongoing need for sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives.
II. Key Market Segments
The plasticizers market can be broadly categorized into several types based on the chemical composition and applications:
1. Phthalates
Phthalates have long been the dominant segment within the plasticizers market, accounting for nearly 60% of global consumption. Key types of phthalates include dioctyl phthalate (DOP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), and diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP). These compounds are known for their cost-effectiveness and versatility in applications, especially in flexible PVC products like cables, hoses, flooring, and medical devices.
However, growing concerns over the potential health and environmental impacts of phthalates, particularly endocrine disruption, have led to increased regulatory scrutiny, pushing many manufacturers to explore non-phthalate alternatives.
2. Non-Phthalates
The non-phthalate segment is the fastest-growing segment in the market, driven by increasing regulatory pressures and consumer demand for safer, more sustainable materials. Notable non-phthalate plasticizers include adipates, citrates, and bio-based plasticizers. These alternatives are often used in sensitive applications such as food packaging, children’s toys, and medical devices.
The adoption of non-phthalate plasticizers is expected to continue rising, particularly in Europe and North America, where stricter regulations are in place. Major chemical companies are investing heavily in the research and development of non-phthalate solutions to meet this growing demand while maintaining performance standards.
3. Bio-Based Plasticizers
Bio-based plasticizers are gaining significant traction as the market shifts toward sustainability. These plasticizers, derived from renewable resources like vegetable oils and other natural products, offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petrochemical-based plasticizers. While still a small portion of the overall market, bio-based plasticizers are projected to experience robust growth due to increasing environmental awareness and regulatory support.
III. Key Trends Shaping the Plasticizers Market
1. Regulatory Changes
One of the most significant drivers of change in the plasticizers market is the evolving regulatory landscape. Agencies such as the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have introduced stringent regulations regarding the use of certain phthalates due to their potential health risks. For instance, the European Union’s REACH regulation has restricted the use of several phthalates, including DEHP, DBP, BBP, and DIBP, particularly in consumer products.
These regulations have accelerated the transition toward non-phthalate and bio-based plasticizers, especially in regions with stricter compliance requirements. Companies that fail to adapt to these changes risk losing market share or facing legal penalties, making regulatory compliance a critical priority for industry leaders.
2. Increasing Demand for Sustainability
Sustainability is no longer a buzzword but a core component of business strategy for companies across industries. In the plasticizers market, there is growing demand for materials that have a lower environmental impact, both in terms of production and end-of-life disposal. This has led to a rise in bio-based plasticizers and increased research into recyclable and biodegradable plastic products.
Major industry players are investing in sustainable technologies, not only to meet regulatory requirements but also to appeal to eco-conscious consumers and businesses. C-suite leaders must align their long-term strategies with sustainability goals to remain competitive in an increasingly green market.
3. Technological Innovations
The plasticizers industry is undergoing a period of technological innovation aimed at improving the performance and environmental profile of these additives. Advancements in chemical engineering have led to the development of high-performance plasticizers that offer enhanced durability, flexibility, and safety.
For example, the development of bio-based plasticizers has benefited from breakthroughs in green chemistry, which enables the production of non-toxic, biodegradable materials without compromising on quality. Additionally, new processing technologies have made it easier to incorporate these eco-friendly alternatives into traditional manufacturing processes.

Hello everyone~
I’ll update this as needed
*liking, commenting, adding on, reblogging, etc. are all ok and ENCOURAGED!! Notifications make me horny lol*
I’m 19 and I live in the USA (my pronouns are she/they and gender is confusing, but I like femme terms most of the time)(also I’m bi with a slight slight preference men/masc ppl)
I am very opinionated in non-kink context, so if you like Trump, do not support Palestinians right to exist in their home, do not support trans and/or gay people, think that what is happening in the us is ok and normal, etc etc, let’s talk about it bcs I disagree with you. If you cannot behave like you have common decency then you’ll be blocked. This is still a kink blog I don’t have to deal with anything I don’t want to.
I truly believe that America can come back from this, but only if we work together as a people.
(Comments & asks can be as kinky as you would like, but please treat DMs like you just saw me on the street and see me as a real person)
Here are some things you can do to make me not want to talk to you:
- not have your age in your bio/be a minor (blocked)
- ask me for pics if you’ve followed me for less than a day and haven’t tried to talk to me much (I will only send when I want to and to the people I want to send to. If you don’t like it go away rn pls)
- ask me questions abt information that is immediately available to you (here or from my bio)
-send me pics without asking
- not able to separate this from reality (I am content knowing I will not find me soulmate on here and don’t want to lol)
- call me mean names before I know that you’ll call me nice ones too
- ask me to meet up I WILL NOT MEET YOU IRL!!! A lot of people have talked to me about where I live so that we could potentially have a session within the first WEEK of talking to me online. I don’t even know your name lol. (Hypothetical kinky stuff is different)
- coming to me to dominate you (I am a switch for the right people and it’s probably not you if you do this)
- get on my nerves about not responding to you fast enough if we don’t have an established convo (quickest way to give me the ick)
Kinks:
I have a bunch, so I’m not going to write them all out. You can find a bunch of them on my page. Which you should read 😁 I probably at least kind like whatever you’re thinking about, so feel free to ask:)
It’s important to know that “why” is my favorite question. If I ask you why you like something it’s bcs I think the why is hotter than the actual thing. I don’t do it constantly, but if it bothers you then you won’t like me lol
Limits:
Being pissed on (sorry guys), underage anything(I did not exist until the day I turned 18 in kink context), guns, actual sedation, broken bones, stabbing, (plastic) surgery, shit, vomit, literally anything that has to do with food (food control, sitting, gaining/losing weight), heavy degradation, snakes and worms, vore, packophilia, thinking aftercare is a kink, emotional abuse, farts, pregnancy (breeding is ok tho!)
Alcohol in ANY way (in love w weed tho)
While I enjoy a lot of aspects of CNC I do not love the word rape
Findom of any kind will never be ok with me, but if people want to send me money just because they like me I’ll accept it :p
I try to be organized with my tags but I’m not the best

The new 'compost obligatoire' rules came into force on 1 January 2024. Here's what they entail.
As of 1 January 2024, organic waste recycling is mandatory in France under new 'compost obligatoire' rules.
With support from the government’s Green Fund, municipalities must provide residents with ways to sort bio-waste, which includes food scraps, vegetable peels, expired food and garden waste.
Households and businesses are required to dispose of organic matter either in a dedicated small bin for home collection or at a municipal collection point. Previously, only those who generated over five tonnes of organic waste per year were required to separate it.
The waste will then be turned into biogas or compost to replace chemical fertilisers. Alternatively, it can be composted at home.
The obligation is currently on local authorities to provide an easy means for households to compost or separate organic waste.
While facilities are rolled out, there will not be fines imposed for non-compliance. It is yet to be seen whether stricter rules will be imposed in future.
One-third of household waste is bio-waste
Organic waste from food and gardens accounts for almost one-third of household waste. When it is mixed with other rubbish, it typically ends up in landfills or incinerators, where it produces heat-trapping greenhouse gases like methane and CO2.
Food waste is responsible for about 16 per cent of the total emissions from the EU food system, according to the European Commission. Globally, food loss and waste generates around 8 per cent of all human-caused emissions annually, the UN says.
It can also contaminate packaging destined for recycling like paper, plastic and glass.
In 2018, only 34 per cent of the EU’s total bio-waste was collected, leaving 40 million tonnes of potential soil nutrients to be discarded, according to NGO Zero Waste Europe.
In France, an estimated 82 kg of compostable waste per person is thrown away each year.
Is bio-waste separation mandatory in other European countries?
Under the EU’s Waste Framework Directive, bio-waste collection is being encouraged this year, but it stops short of setting mandatory targets.
In many European countries, organic waste separation has already been implemented at the municipal level.
Milan in Italy has been running a residential food waste collection programme since 2014. Households were given dedicated bins and compostable bags to kick off the scheme.
Elsewhere, taxes or bans on incinerating bio-waste have encouraged similar schemes, with separate bins and home composting widespread in Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The UK announced plans to roll out separate food waste collection in 2023. It remains voluntary for households in England, but is more strictly enforced in Wales and for business owners.
How to sort your bio-waste
Ideally, all waste - including organic matter - should be kept to a minimum.
This can be achieved through careful meal planning. Consuming, freezing or preserving food before it expires along with using every part of an ingredient also help to reduce waste. Some food waste can even be repurposed into animal feed.
Any food waste that cannot be saved or repurposed should be either composted or separated for collection. This includes uneaten food scraps, baked goods, dairy products, eggshells, fruit and vegetables and their peels, mouldy food, pet food, raw and cooked meat and fish, bones, tea and coffee grounds.
Liquids, non-food products and packaging should not be placed in bio-waste bins.

an incomplete list of chaotic science shit I've done over the years:
collected moss for three hours in the woods to take home and hunt for tardigrades under the microscope (found them!)
tried to neutralise gone off red wine and accidentally turned it green
improvised a smoke bomb with fertiliser and sugar and accidentally smoked out my building
stabbed my own finger with a scalpel to draw blood and examine it under a microscope to diagnose megaloblastic anemia
begged the science department for non-pathonogenic e-coli to genetically splice and make glow in the dark
made green flame candles with wax and copper sulfate
analysed a 1940s bottle of carbonic acid i found in the attic (it was not carbonic acid)
synthesised banana oil and ended up spraying it all over me by over-pressurising the flask (my clothes smelled like banana for weeks)
made bio-fuel by transesterification of sunflower oil
made gooey fondant filled chocolate using invertase enzymes and ate far too many (they were fine)
created benedict's reagent for testing for reducing sugars using copper sulfate, citric acid, and baking soda
attempted to create a non-toxic scent-confusing chemical to throw off illegal fox hunts (unproductive. was just very smelly)
whipped up a solution for developing fingerprints left on paper using ninhydrin and acetone and developed books from the charity shop
leached additives from plastic bags and tested for illegal pollutants (found some!)
determined the iron content of irn bru (disappointingly little)
made a chemical battery using ionic salt solutions
learnt coding to download the entire protein data bank (1TB) to run an antibody discovery search
freeze-distilled vodka to produce concentrated ethanol for a plant extraction before finding out it's illegal
shattered six glass bottles by making elderflower cordial and accidentally leaving them to ferment
held my breath for 90 seconds to surreptitiously abstain from an ethically questionable experiment involving feeding crickets your expelled co2 to measure breathing
synthesised aspirin from willow bark
made art from iodine solution, for some reason, even though ink is the same colour and won't kill you
helped measure a friend's blood glucose after they ate 15 cream eggs, and plotted a disappointedly linear graph
had the brilliant idea of using ethyl acetate and acetone to remove a wall stain (stripped the paint)
extracted the caffeine from 20 bags of tea (it sits temptingly in a glass vial on my shelf, definitely impure, and somehow slightly green)
did all this and still managed to fuck up an omelette

It gives them migraines, and it can be difficult for them to see the bigger picture. They don't like knowing other people's thoughts. The information sometimes overloads their brain and makes them pass out. They cannot see into the future, however.

Favourite subject: Music
Hobbies: Investigating things, reading, bowling
Likes: Cats, horror, knowledge, stories,
Dislikes: Spiders (they know things), worms, eye symbols, tight spaces
Favourite food: chicken pasta
Least favourite food: mashed potato
Appearance:
Clyde is neither tall nor short. They're neither thin nor fat. They have hair. Yes, they do. It is long, pink, and sage green. They also have eyes. They are dark pink in colour, like dark gemstones. They have dark skin and pearly white teeth. They also wear glasses.
Personality:
Clyde is an interesting fella. They manage to simultaneously be a shut-in and an extrovert. They're friendly and fairly kind, but they can be cryptic and apathetic at times. They're one of those people who are genuinely nice but have little to no morals. They show very little concern when violence or terrible incidents occur around them.
They're absent-minded and easily distracted. They are very inquisitive and will constantly asks question after question even if it is not wanted. They always look less pale (for their skintone) than before once they've needled stories out of various people.
They will occasionally get suspicious of someone for some random thing and investigate them by following them around. They like investigating in general. When they don't use they're UM they're either extremely horribly wrong or 100% right with no in-between.
They often spout what, to others, sounds like nonsense. They also like to narrate what they are doing sometimes and always walk around with a tape recorder.
They are kind of paranoid and have many conspiracy theories, but nobody can tell if it's satirical or not. ("We're nothing but the playthings of a higher being, going through the motions with nothing but idle movements and stories designed for us." "...Is that a no on the tea?")
When they have a bad day or in a bad mood, they can be found huddled somewhere or staring into the distance, muttering into their tape recorder. (If you really want an example: "The thing that is but is not, what is a face is not a face what is a face, what is a smile is hollow plastic, cotton hair and taxidermied skin.")
Some Fun Facts/Extra Info
•Clyde is twisted from both Jonothan Sims from The Magnus Archives and Cecil Palmer from Welcome to Night Vale. They are excellent podcasts, and I recommend them, especially TMA :)
•Has their own podcast, though nobody knows where their recording booth is or when they started the podcast
•They have a deep, velvety voice that can sound creepy at times
•They have a TERRIBLE fashion sense. Fuzzy pants with a waist coat and sandals, anyone? Occasionally, they manage to look like a librarian, but...
•They're basically living Azul's wet dream with all the blackmail they want at their fingertips but they do nothing with it, apart from the occasional podcast livestream where he starts narrating what a random student is doing and freaks the shit out of them
•They are not made for violence pls don't hurt them 🥺
•They can often be found lurking in the library, reorganising the books
•Some students think they should be at RSA, others think they would make those soft boys burst into tears
•They always stare at Grim when he's in their line of sight
•They never run out of stories to tell
•They almost never stop smiling
•They once made an announcement about the school's third overblot and recommended you stay cautious, as the organisation they cannot name will come collect those poor poor students. Nobody believed them.
