The Beekeeper will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 23 via Warner Bros. Directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad, Fury), the 2024 action thriller is currently available on PVOD.

Jason Statham stars with Emmy Raver-Lampman, Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Phylicia Rashad, Jemma Redgrave, and Jeremy Irons. Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium, Salt) penned the script.

The Beekeeper is presented in 4K with HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. No special features are included.

The Beekeeper (2024)

The Beekeeper has several scenes using strobing police lights that light up entire environments. Rapid-firing weapons are used frequently. The opening credits have bright flashes of light throughout, including the fourth production company logo.

Some mild shaking cameras are used. The rapid editing style may be disorienting.

Flashing Lights: 10/10. Motion Sickness: 6/10.

TRIGGER WARNING: Near the beginning of the film, someone dies off-screen by suicide, and we see the aftermath. There is some gore shown on-screen. The feeling of being surrounded by buzzing bees may be disturbing during the first few minutes of the film.
