Les Hawks d'Atlanta ont réalisé une incroyable remontée pour battre les Celtics de Boston, qui étaient en tête de la conférence Est, malgré un déficit de 30 points en première mi-temps. Privés de leur meneur star Trae Young, les Hawks ont su compter sur leur agressivité pour l'emporter 120-118, offrant une belle victoire à leur public. Domantas Sabonis des Sacramento Kings a également marqué l'histoire en enregistrant un triple-double lors de la victoire de son équipe contre les 76ers, devenant le cinquième joueur de l'histoire à réaliser au moins 25 triple-doubles en une saison.
