he envelopes her hands between his, kissing the knuckles to ease her. "don't worry about that. got too much money in my bank account and I will use it to spoil the fuck out of both of you."

"But on the bright side, new fandoms mean new ideas, and I’m sure focus will seesaw back and forth instead of both becoming all-encompassing," says a friend, but they don't grasp how bad it is when I join fandoms. The way I interact with my fandoms is more like the demented love child of a bouncy castle and an insane asylum than it is a cutesy little seesaw. The fandoms will bounce around my head like a DVD logo, and whatever hits the corner gets to pilot my brain like Ratatouille, with the rest of the fandoms running amok in the back of my head like wild monkeys until God finally decides to grant me a morsel of mercy. This particular fandom has been on and off for me for a while because I honestly don't have time for another hyperfixation on top of all the others. Especially when I start reading the fanfiction. I've been trying to resist this fandom for a while, but I did the dumb stupid thing and started reading the fanfic. My computer can't handle another 100 open tabs added to the millions I have on my backlog! My poor laptop is struggling and my bookmarks/tabs are endless! I'm still safe when it's just the fanart, DJs, and YouTube videos. I don't even have to fully watch the show, read the entire og manga, and/or playthrough the games to be fully sucked into a fandom. I just have to really enjoy the fanfiction written about the source material. Fanfic is when I'm at the point of no return. It's always the fanfic that gets me. It's how I ended up being a rabid fangirl of many other fandoms rather than just a casual enjoyer.

One of my guests (a distant cousin) not only wore a white dress, but the exact same wedding gown as me. Apparently she had been messaging my mom incessantly for months until she broke down and sent her a picture of the dress and said where I got it. When I was set to walk down the aisle, this cousin got up out of her seat and tried to walk down the aisle in my place.

My brother-in-law demanded that we stop the reception and have the DJ turn off the music because he had a "special surprise". He did the worm for 20 minutes. In silence. While everyone watched.
One of my old friends brought her 5-year-old daughter to my child-free wedding. I knew she was doing this because she called me the day before saying we would "need" a bouncy castle for her daughter at the wedding. Said 5-year-old screamed and cried through the whole ceremony because her mom promised her a bouncy castle. My friend also spent half an hour arguing with the caterer trying to get them to give her kid a slice of cake before we'd cut it.

I (dad) along with 3 other dad’s have been trapped in a strange new world and these dicks in purple robs have taken our kids from us.
we got a bunch of jewels that are worth so much money, and we were going to use them to hire mercenaries to storm the castle our kids are being held in, but this dude pretended to be me and stole the jewels from us. he lead us to his bouncy castle where we had to answer riddles, and then play truth or dare or else he was going to throw the jewels in a bottomless pit.
for context he’s doing this because we killed his cousin so i guess this is maybe psychological torture on his part?
my friend H had to answer which one of his sons he liked more, and he refused so 5 jewels went in the pit. my challenge was to lose all ability to play guitar (i’m a touring rockstar that’s how i earn money to support my kid) instead of being a rockstar i would become the dj for a lincoln park cover band. i refused that’s fucking lame i’m a rockstar that’s who i am but everyone’s like “put your pride aside become a dj we have to save our kids.”
