The Weezer fandom has to be the funniest bandom I've ever been in cause instead of fans writing RPF fanfictions about the lead singer and rhythm guitarist getting the sloppy toppy or stories about the most gut-wrenching plot featuring your faves in impossible situations that will end in the most beautiful gay romance between them (usually the lead singer and rhythm guitarist), we have whatever these things are

Note
My mom just texted me one of the worst name related puns that has ever been conceived (for context my brother is named Blake)
"Hey we're going to legally change your name to Briver."
So can i get an appraisal of the names Briver and Bocean (she made the same joke with my other sibling, but with the name Bocean instead of Briver)
Both sound like things I could see on a truly interesting baby name Facebook page, so in that way credit where it’s due.

1 Nephi Chapter 2 "Obedience."
Tumblr media
Lehi takes his family into the wilderness by the Red Sea—They leave their property—Lehi offers a sacrifice to the Lord and teaches his sons to keep the commandments—Laman and Lemuel murmur against their father—Nephi is obedient and prays in faith; the Lord speaks to him, and he is chosen to rule over his brethren. About 600 B.C.
Lehi, the "speaker" is told by the Spirit to read the Book and fill himself with the Pillar of Fire, and incorporate the 12. This is all new to him but fearing destruction of his soul he ventures out. To venture out towards the Red Sea is to study the Bible or Torah or Book of Mormon in the Morning.
Mornings are when what was hidden at night is revealed. We are alone with our fear of the unknown at night, as soon as the sun rises we know what is going to happen and can act. The study of the Books gives one confidence and the skills to approach the unknown with maturity and grace:
What Was the Parting of the Red Sea?
The miracle of the parting of the Red Sea (keriat yam suf in Hebrew) was performed by G‑d through Moses, seven days after the Israelites’ Exodus from Egypt. Pharaoh and the Egyptian armies had pursued Israel to the water. Moses turned to G‑d in prayer, and G‑d instructed him to raise his staff.
A strong east wind blew, and the sea parted, allowing the Israelites to walk through it on dry land. When the Egyptian pursuers attempted to follow, the water came crashing down, drowning them in its churning depths. Recognizing the great miracle that had occurred, Moses and the people of Israel sang the Song of the Sea, and Miriam led the women in song and dance.1
This first part of the Book of Mormon is the East Wind, which rises up to open the mind and blow all the delusion, lies, fear, bad attitudes away and like the sun lights the way forward:
1 For behold, it came to pass that the Lord spake unto my father, yea, even in a dream, and said unto him: Blessed art thou Lehi, because of the things which thou hast done; and because thou hast been faithful and declared unto this people the things which I commanded thee, behold, they seek to atake away thy blife.
2 And it came to pass that the Lord acommanded my father, even in a bdream, that he should ctake his family and depart into the wilderness.
The 12 Tribes of Israel have a cohort in the Book of Mormon called Nephites. Nephites are traits, skills and practices that make us dear to God and of ample service to humanity. They are the antithesis to the destroyers of mankind called the Lamanites "Stupidities."
One of the exercises we are going to undertake here is a thorough analysis of the Nephites and the Lamanites and the other types of disciplines the Prophet says will make us better men.
Obedience is one:
3 And it came to pass that he was aobedient unto the word of the Lord, wherefore he did as the Lord commanded him.
4 And it came to pass that he departed into the wilderness. And he left his house, and the land of his inheritance, and his gold, and his silver, and his precious things, and took nothing with him, save it were his family, and provisions, and tents, and adeparted into the wilderness.
Gold, silver and precious things do not matter without one's inner discipline. This is what is meant by leaving with only basic necessities and one's relatives, which are "Nephi, the meritorious one, approached the unknown in the company of the Chief Prophetess, the intellect, and the "dream of yoking to humanity through the creation of a violence free world."
5 And he came down by the borders near the shore of the aRed Sea; and he traveled in the wilderness in the borders which are nearer the Red Sea; and he did travel in the wilderness with his family, which consisted of my mother, Sariah, and my elder brothers, who were Laman, Lemuel, and Sam.
6 And it came to pass that when he had traveled three days in the wilderness, he pitched his tent in a avalley by the side of a briver of water.
7 And it came to pass that he built an aaltar of bstones, and made an coffering unto the Lord, and gave dthanks unto the Lord our God.
8 And it came to pass that he called the name of the river, Laman, and it emptied into the Red Sea; and the valley was in the borders near the mouth thereof.
Laman means "to yoke to something other than the past."
The Altar of Stones are the 12 stones in the Breastplate of an Israelite. Near the valley of the mouth "in between the brain and the tongue" and below, between the heart and the windpipe, there live the Israelites. The mouth must be emptied every morning of what does not belong from the day before as one contemplates the values hidden in the Stones.
9 And when my father saw that the waters of the river emptied into the afountain of the Red Sea, he spake unto Laman, saying: O that thou mightest be like unto this river, continually running into the fountain of all righteousness!
Another name for God is the "Eye of the Fountain" this is what is meant here.
10 And he also spake unto Lemuel: O that thou mightest be like unto this valley, afirm and bsteadfast, and immovable in keeping the commandments of the Lord!
11 Now this he spake because of the astiffneckedness of Laman and Lemuel; for behold they did bmurmur in many things against their cfather, because he was a dvisionary man, and had led them out of the land of Jerusalem, to leave the land of their inheritance, and their gold, and their silver, and their precious things, to perish in the wilderness. And this they said he had done because of the foolish imaginations of his heart.
Lehi means "jawbone". "Who controls the jawbone controls the world."
"The noun לחי (lehi) means jawbone or cheek. It's not clear where this noun comes from, and creative observers might be forgiven to see a resemblance with the particle ל (le), meaning for, and the noun חי (hay) meaning life. The jaw allows food to be chewed, and it's essential in speaking. And when one dominates the jaw of an animal (or human, for that matter), one dominates the whole animal."
Yes, Lehi, the "Voice of God" was trying to kill Laman and Lemuel, and the rest, it was time to leave youth behind and embrace reality. To die in the Book of Mormon and the Torah is to surpass the previous thought level of existence. In this instance we know the Prophet wanted people to leave slavery, corruption, secret combinations, mass pollution and killing behind.
12 And thus Laman and Lemuel, being the eldest, did murmur against their afather. And they did bmurmur because they cknew not the dealings of that God who had dcreated them.
13 Neither did they abelieve that Jerusalem, that great city, could be bdestroyed according to the words of the prophets. And they were like unto the Jews who were at Jerusalem, who sought to take away the life of my father.
This comment is not about a gang of Jews running around trying to kill people, it is about slander.
Later in the Book of Mormon we learn Jews were slandering poor people and preventing them from entering the Temple. This is what is meant by the "Jews were trying to take my life."
The Prophet admonishes them for this, there is a change of heart, and Judaism and the Synagogue become lauded by the Book of Mormon.
14 And it came to pass that my father did speak unto them in the avalley of Lemuel, with bpower, being filled with the Spirit, until their frames did cshake before him. And he did confound them, that they durst not utter against him; wherefore, they did as he commanded them.
15 And my father dwelt in a atent.
The Frames are the Portions or the Plates in this book, they "frame" the Spirit of God. To be spoken to in the "valley of the surpassing" after one crosses "the river of yoking" and dwell in a tent, is how one escapes heresy and its influences.
As for the tent:
The Tent and the Field
Jewish teaching sees the life of the individual as expressing an inner struggle. One part of the person relates to Nature—untamed, uncontrolled, like natural forests and unclaimed fields. The other part has a Divine quality, expressing G‑d Who created nature in order to make it His dwelling.
The untamed aspect is called the Natural Soul, or the Animal Soul. Sometimes the Sages describe it as the "Evil Desire." The problem is that much of the time it does not appear as evil, just as free and unrestrained: natural. The Divine quality is known as the Divine Soul, the spark of G‑d within the person. It is sometimes called simply the "Good Desire."
These two forces within person, the Natural Soul and the Divine Soul, struggle together. Each soul tries to dominate the day-to-day life of the individual: what one thinks about, what one says and above all what one actually does. But the Divine Soul is seeking not just to win the immediate battle. Its goal is to transform the Natural Soul, to tame it, to reveal its tremendous potential for good.
16 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, being exceedingly young, nevertheless being large in stature, and also having great desires to know of the amysteries of God, wherefore, I did cry unto the Lord; and behold he did bvisit me, and did csoften my heart that I did dbelieve all the words which had been spoken by my efather; wherefore, I did not frebel against him like unto my brothers.
17 And I spake unto Sam, "to flee" making known unto him the things which the Lord had manifested unto me by his Holy Spirit. And it came to pass that he believed in my words.
18 But, behold, Laman and Lemuel would not hearken unto my words; and being agrieved because of the hardness of their hearts I cried unto the Lord for them.
19 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto me, saying: Blessed art thou, Nephi, because of thy afaith, for thou hast sought me diligently, with lowliness of heart.
20 And inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall aprosper, and shall be led to a bland of promise; yea, even a land which I have prepared for you; yea, a land which is choice above all other lands.
21 And inasmuch as thy brethren shall rebel against thee, they shall be acut off from the presence of the Lord.
22 And inasmuch as thou shalt keep my commandments, thou shalt be made a aruler and a teacher over thy brethren.
23 For behold, in that day that they shall arebel against me, I will bcurse them even with a sore curse, and they shall have no power over thy seed except they shall crebel against me also.
24 And if it so be that they rebel against me, they shall be a ascourge unto thy seed, to bstir them up in the ways of remembrance.

Chapter 10: Colour theory? Never heard of her. (Also, a wedding) (Found these in drafts)
I decided to go for the full My Wedding shit Stories experience and decided to document it all. Unfortunately I still was not actively blogging so I hope you like plumbobs.
Bus and Wolfgang had been married for a while, Bus and Morgyn had been engaged for a minute or two. Time to plan the wedding. First, the Officiant: Bus Driver Dus Briver. The first form of the current basic bitch you know and loathe after their first transformation from Broyce Taters. Have I mentioned Bus started out as a neckbeard? Anyway... A quick import, some cash money and a disapproving glare from Morgyn later, we've got the Officiant!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then it was off to design the wedding venue.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perfect Okay, now for the guest list
Well, I don't remember who most of them are now and they're likely all dead. But they were all close or best friends of Bus. Morgyn's only friend was possibly the nanny Bus tried to burn to death. OKAY TIME TO START THE EVENT
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So far so good, Celebrant showed up, some of the guests are here. Fuzz has a strange concept of ''Formal'' but honestly, I'll allow it. Now do we start straight at the aisle or do we go to !!!THE RECEPTION!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, that'll do. The cake spawning attempt was a failure. Maybe bus can make one after the ceremony. Onward, forward and whirling, whirling, whirling towards freedom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bus and Morgyn greet their guests as Wolfgang begins to do situps which is due to being energized and absolutely not a display of his manly prowess. Cunnova, Slenderman and Dus hit off in the library giving the couple a few moments to capture memories.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And maybe a couple of cheeky snaps with Wolfgang, much to Morgyn's chagrin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ALRIGHT TIME FOR A GOD DAMN WEDDING
Tumblr media
Uh... hello?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The guests finally began filtering in, Bus took a while to to track down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wolfgang decided it would be appropriate to have a quick pash before running off to angrily eat some floor cake.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Morgyn took a quick powernap while Dus Briver wondered why they ever agreed to this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND WE'RE OFF!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aaaand... they're gone.
(I have reached the photo limit for a post, so I guess there's a part 2. I'm so sorry. )
