small rant abt how much i hate hitler + other war stuff

today in class we had to write like a report on a historical event (the majority of the class chose 9/11 as the anniversary was yesterday), however there were also quite a few people choosing the holocaust so i decided to also research a bit more on the topic to try and create a news article kind of report. anyway, we were encouraged to add pictures from the event so i started looking at the eisenhower presidential library and oh my god it was horrific. one of the pictures showcases a piece of tattooed flesh used as ‘decor’ by nazi ss soldiers which was skinned off of a man at a concentration camp (most likely while he was alive). i don’t know how to explain this without sounding like an idiot but i just don’t understand how people could do such horrible things and not feel any remorse or care for the person, like you’re telling me millions of people (and literal children) were brutally murdered all because they were jewish and/or didn’t share the same political views as the nazis? it’s so crazy to me, especially with the fact that the same sort of thing is happening in palestine and even still with all the mass destruction, violence and murder palestinians are facing some people either just don’t care or they are siding with israel? it’s horrible and i just don’t understand

I do not understand people who see genocide and say "why won't The World do anything" and "someone please make this stop" but refuse to support armed resistance from Palestinians themselves.
