oh nothing just buffy and cordelia are literally cosmically linked.
cordy wishes buffy had never come to sunnydale (despite being wronged by xander, not buffy - lesbian behaviour tbh but that is a different conversation) and the entire universe changes.
and now we know that in a universe where buffy doesn’t exist, it’s cordelia who becomes the slayer.
I might be grasping at straws here but like… seriously?? two of the major alternate universes in the buffyverse hinge on the inherent connection and opposition of buffy and cordelia??? AT THIS POINT YOUR FATES ARE NOT UNEXPLAINABLY INTERTWINED BY THE UNIVERSE YOU ARE JUST GAY

spuffy + cangel go on a double date to see barbie!
Angel is pretending to be annoyed. Spike's the one who planned the whole thing. Buffy and Cordy wanted to see Oppenhiemer, but they're very excited to be the prettiest girls in the movie theatre.

Do you keep a list of changes you would make if you were made responsible for a remake of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or are you weird?

Somehow I have managed to become totally re-obsessed with Spuffy and Cangel. I was going to start a separate sideblog devoted to those ships and shows but am of course too lazy, so I'm throwing them in here!
The few but truly appreciated and beloved mutuals who already follow me for Friends, That 70s Show etc - please just block the Spuffy, Cangel, btvs and/or ats tags if you don't want to see those posts!
Spuffy and/or Cangel lovers who I don't already follow - I'd really love to find anyone else who still loves these ships and will follow back right away!
