Bleach (Burichi) (2004-2012) including Memories of Nobody (2006), The DiamondDust Rebellion (2007), Fade to Black (2008), and Hell Verse (2010)

A young man who can see spirits is entrusted with the powers of a Soul Reaper. He trains to make himself stronger so that he can always protect his loved ones and stop villains and monsters intent on destruction.

 I watched this series with the English dubbing feature on because it’s easier for me to watch without having to read and I rather liked the voice actor for Ichigo. I may return to the series and watch it with the original Japanese audio another time. The characters are all fairly strong and get little sections of back story which explain their motivations and make them more complex; this is quite consistent and things are referenced many seasons apart. The animation was pretty good and some of the effects look striking and pretty. There is also some humour which occasionally comes at odd times but the parts with Rangiku are usually amusing.

 The stories can get a little repetitive on occasion when it’s mostly battling or training but they often lead to better and more interesting things soon enough. There’s sometimes a random cut-away episode to the characters having a day at the beach or something equally irrelevant which can be good or feel pointless. The conclusion of the main arc is drawn out for 15 seasons so it’s not a surprise that it ends a little disappointingly and quickly, for one thing we didn’t even get to see the level 0 Arancar get defeated or find out every Soul Reaper’s power by the end. The main one I was curious about is the little pink-haired one that Kempachi always carries around.

 One of the most appealing things about the series is that all the characters have special powers that we gradually learn new things about and they develop as much as the characters. It’s entertaining to see rules set up for their abilities only for them to be broken or subverted in some way to defeat an enemy as the villains sometimes get more confident about what they know about an opponent’s weapon only for it to be wrong.

 The earlier films are the better ones because they have more coherent stories and use more of the characters. The later ones are still good but are a little too predictable. The main issue with the series which gets a little irritating is that most of the trouble could be solved by the characters just talking to each other more instead of needlessly keeping secrets. There are times when things are exploding and people are getting hurt but the head captain doesn’t bother to tell anyone that he knows exactly who is doing it because it’s a bit embarrassing.

 6/10 -Just a cut above average-

 -The show is named after the creator’s favourite Nirvana album.

-Rukia was the first character to be drawn for the manga and was originally intended to be the lead character in the series.

-The Soul Reaper guard near the end of Hell Verse who is outside the medical tent is the same one that guards Rukia in series 2.

Okay guys, I'm a native spanish speaker and in one of the communities I'm part of they shared info the other side is spreading saying that Ku/bo is talking Pierrot into continuing the Ble/ach anime and that's the most hilarious thing I read today because:

1. Ku/bo? Giving a fuck about Ble/ach on 2019? Yeaaaaah, suuuuuure.

2. IDK I hopped into the internet and I see pretty much everyone in the fandom is chill, I even checked the hellsites for rumours but came up empty handed so... Something like that should at least make some noise??

3. They claim Pierrot told Ku/bo they won't pick up Ble/ach again unless they're allowed to erase the ending kids from existence. I mean if that's true Pierrot is my new heroe lmao.

4. The Ble/ach anime returning after all this time, just to give us that shit ending... ROFLMAO.

So yeah, I'm sharing this because they basically made my day I haven't stopped laughing for the last three hours and well... Who knows? IT MIGHT BE TRUE! So if you know anything feel free to let me know if not you're also free to laugh with me.
