From yet another cbse 10thie how are you holding up with the fact that boards are literally a week away ? Literally crumbling here T-T.. Also what's your second language
First of all, hello! Thank you for stopping by :D
I literally just told my mom that the boards are in a week (Gotta keep the fam updated coz they seem to forget and ask me every day when my first exam is, like ???) while I was getting ready for bed. Honestly, it seems kinda unreal.
One minute I'm panicking or crying (though that is rare and my emotions are only scattered around the place when i'm doing sst) and the other I'm perfectly fine and singing and playing my ukulele as if I have no other worry in the world.
I have been revising the syllabus up till now, been doing one math sample paper everyday, giving science tests in tuition, and just hoping whatever I'm doing for sst is enough. All the other subjects have been forgotten and are being kept for 2 or 3 days before the boards.
I just want them to be over with. With this two boards system, it literally feels like 2 academic years instead of one. I don't wanna be in 10th grade anymore 😭😭
Also, I just wanna tell you not to stress out too much, I know it's our first time giving actual subjective boards but it'll be alright, just keep revising and do take out time for yourself, stay hydrated, take care of yourself and those you care about.
P.s I am fluent in Hindi, English and Sarcasm. In school, our second language is Hindi (but I don't think that's my second language) and I had French as a third language till 8th grade. So yeah, choose your pick ig :)

Is maths NCERT is enough for the preparation of 10th board exams?
It is too early to say. I don't think that NCERT books will be sufficient for the preparation of your 10th board exams.
You should make use of practice tests, NCERT solutions, previous year question papers and books of your teachers to prepare well for the exams
. You have to secure good marks in all the three exams of Maths, so you should be careful while attempting questions which can kill your chances of scoring good marks in the subject. So, I would suggest you to buy CBSE maths 10th syllabus and NCERT solutions online.
· The secret of cracking maths in board exam is to not getting stress over RD Sharma book. It’s overrated.
· When the school year started I was also going with the craze of following RD Sharma book. I did the first two chapters from RD Sharma diligently which did help me in school exams.
· But due to lengthy nature of the book, I couldn’t carry on using that book. The level of questions was too high and all those examples, exercises just made that book time-consuming to refer to.
· So I brought Oswaal Question Bank for Maths. This book made maths preparation much easier for me. The level of questions was same as board and it wasn’t time consuming.
· I sometimes did few solved examples from RD Sharma but that was solely because school exams of maths were very difficult.
· But before all of this don’t forget NCERT. DO NOT solve other reference books before you solve NCERT. Learn every formula given. Solve every example. Do all the exercises.
· Just because NCERT is easy that doesn’t mean you get to ignore it. There were many questions that was copy-pasted from NCERT book.
· When you feel confident in your mathematical skills after solving NCERT, then move onto doing Oswaal of that chapter.
· In the last two months, start going through NCERT again while solving new questions from Oswaal.
· Start solving sample papers. I used Oswaal CBSE Sample Question Paper. I printed past year sample papers and did them too.
· If you prefer solving them in exam environment with a timer and stuff, please do. But after you have done one sample paper, go back and analyze. Make sure you know how to solve each and every question.
· Otherwise, just take it as an exercise and solve the papers without any pressure of time on yourself. I personally followed this.
· Do not stress over completing ENTIRE RD Sharma. It wastes time and affects other subjects. Just do examples and few sums here and there.

How to do Revision before CBSE Board Exams 2022?
The CBSE Term 2 Board Exams 2022 for class 10th and 12th will begin on April 26th, 2022. Therefore students are already busy with their revisions and assignments. Revision before exams is an important part of studying because if you are not well prepared for CBSE Board Exams, then obviously you are going to lose a good amount of percentage in your exams.
How to do revision before the CBSE Board exams is a question that a lot of students have. It is challenging for them but it’s not impossible. While revising, our mind becomes a mess of formulas, concepts, and bits of information. The world becomes very fuzzy and it seems like we’re in the battle of our life.
It is not a good idea to revise your subjects the day before the exam. You need a more structured revision system. Revising isn’t easy but there are methods to help make it easier. To help you do some revision before your CBSE Term 2 board exams, we have written this blog.
Here are some tips that can help you revise for the CBSE term 2 board exams:
1. Create a revision timetable and follow it
A timetable is essential for keeping track of what and how much you need to do by the end of the day or week. Working as per a timetable allows you to set clear objectives for each revising session and tick them off as you go. These revision strategies help you stay on track in your study by reducing stress and exam anxiety.
2. Set reasonable study goals
The goal you set in your timetable should be practical so that you can complete it without skipping any other important topics. This way, instead of memorizing the entire syllabus just before the exam, you will be able to revise the entire portion of your studies by the end of the revision. So, plan your preparations in such a manner that you remember the most important points you need to learn.
3. Take shorter breaks
As the board examinations get closer, you'll need to take shorter breaks and concentrate more on studying and practicing for the exams. The breaks are vital, but they must be 'just breaks'– an hour of concentrated revision should be followed by a ten-minute break during which you can walk around, make a phone call, chat with friends, or even catch a look at your favorite show.
4. Take on difficult subjects with a fresh mind
Math, physics, chemistry, and accounting are all subjects that should be studied when the mind is fresh. You can go on to revise the chapters in languages and social sciences when you become tired. Before, returning to the more difficult mathematics topics, a little walk or a cup of coffee will help you freshen up your mind.
5. Prepare notes
Take a little pause every few minutes while studying to make notes of what you've learned. In your notes, you can provide a brief overview of the topic you learned. Preparing notes allows you to assess your memory capacity and determine if what you've learned in the past has been permanently recorded in your mind. It is simpler to recall your notes if you write them down in your own words.
6. Explain the topic to a friend
Explaining a topic as well as its concepts to a friend can make it easier for you to revise. You come across things that are unclear to you or that you are missing when explaining the topic to your friend. Then, at the same time, you can talk to your friend or teacher about those topics and clear up any concerns you have.
7. Practice mock tests
Many students have difficulty knowing everything yet are unable to write on the exam. To tackle this situation, you can start practicing mock tests and sample papers once a week. This also helps you in better time management when taking the actual exam and understanding the format of the board exams.
8. Prepare with confidence
As they progress, students sometimes feel as if they forgot what they learned in previous chapters. Practically, it doesn't happen. Whatever you study thoroughly will be stored in your memory. The question paper will work as a trigger, bringing all of what you've learned back to mind. So don't be afraid that you'll forget what you've learned. It's a feeling that will pass as your confidence grows.
