Luca's Nonsensical Facts:
I switched schools and went to career tech school in high school, majoring in veterinary science. I didn't go for the animals initially, I went because I was bullied kindergarten- tenth grade at the old school. The career tech school was 11-12 grade.
Because I was in the vet science program, I kidnapped some rather odd critters over school breaks. Chinchillas, hedgehogs, rats, ferrets, and even a snake one time. If you think that's crazy, one of the girls took a whole pig home over break once. I also came to school during breaks to take care of our cattle, goats, and horses.
I did FFA in high school and hold several state titles from winning first place. I also have a silver award from competing in a competition at the national level. I'm not actually competitive, but the 'tism came through strong on things like veterinary science, animal behavior and welfare, equine judging, and animal care.
I can recognize almost all AKC dog breeds, CFA cat breeds, and I also know the breeds for guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, goats, sheep, cattle, and pigs.
At the time I had the most animals at once (in high school) I had: Six parakeets, two Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs, three domestic shorthair cats, two mice, two hamsters, four rabbits, three guinea pigs, two hamsters, and a bearded dragon.
Currently I only have three main pets: Juno, my sheltie, Hatter, my rabbit, and Genesis Rhapsodos, my siamese fighting fish. The two dogs mentioned above are still alive, they're just family dogs, same with the cats.
I survived a hurricane when I was fifteen, which is funny because before I was born, a fortune teller warned my grandmother to watch her firstborn grandchild around water or she'd lose them around the age of fifteen. She didn't tell me this until I told her I'd almost drowned.
My personality is stickers. Everywhere. On all the water bottles, on notebooks, folders, organization, you name it. I also give them out at my club meetings.
On the topic of clubs, I run a creative writing club on my campus. I'm also a tutor in the campus writing center.
My online name came from the Vocaloid, Luka Megurine, but I spelled it wrong and Luca stuck. I previously went by my real name, but I started going by Luca back when I created a different account to avoid death threats and cyberbullying. This was five or so years ago, and it just worked.
I have the "trophy" from my first surgery still preserved in a specimen jar. It's a cat testicle I personally removed. I didn't have the container when I brought it home from school, so I accidentally jumpscared my mom with it because I brought it home in a ziplock bag with isopropyl alcohol in my lunch bag.
I also have my sheltie's puppy teeth, but I'm not sure what to do with them. I might have them sent away from mom-baby memorial jewelry.
I work for a facility that is an all in one: Pet clinic, boarding facility, grooming facility, training center, and doggy daycare. The best part of my job is I can take Juno, my puppy, to work with me and drop her off in daycare. Her best friend is a sweet little mini schnauzer named Sophie. They became friends when Sophie was crying and the other dogs were picking on her, so Juno went over and spent the morning with her until her grooming appointment that afternoon.
I enjoy being crafty, and my current obsession (since last June) is crochet. I like doing my lecture notes and flashcards before my classes and just sitting in lecture and crocheting. It keeps my hands busy and I retain the information better than trying to keep up and do the notes in class.
Oh, and one last thing: as of writing this, I have a Duolingo streak of 1689 days.
Alright that's more than enough so I call @flowerwiththemachinegun and @turborozpruwacz to do this next (if you want).

Persian Cats
The dignified and docile Persian is thought for being quiet and candy.
The Persian cat is the quintessential pure-bred cat. Most of what you see in these cats was man-made. Snub-nosed, kittenish faces, big eyes, plump our bodies and fur so long as eight inches within the present ring each coloration below the rainbow and a loyal, mild companion as nicely.
Tumblr media
The Persian is an outdated breed. To those that love this elegant cat, it should come as no shock that the longhaired magnificence originated within the cradle of civilization: Mesopotamia, which was later referred to as Persia and is now modern-day Iran. The breed’s lengthy hair was most likely the results of a pure mutation, and its placing look attracted the eye of 17th-century Italian nobleman and world traveler Pietro Della Valle, who’s credited with bringing the primary longhaired cats to Europe in 1626. At the moment, the cats had shiny, silky grey fur, however due to selective breeding Persians are actually present in a kaleidoscope of colours, together with bi-color (a shade plus white).
Till the late 19th century, when breeding and displaying cats grew to become fashionable, longhaired cats from Persia, Turkey, Afghanistan and different unique locales have been recognized merely as “Asiatic” cats and had been typically bred collectively. On the Crystal Palace cat present in 1871, Persian-type cats had been among the many breeds exhibited. They have been standard pets of the time and had a particular cachet due to Queen Victoria’s fondness for the breed. Even within the Victoria period, affiliation with a “superstar” ensured an animal’s desirability.
By means of selective breeding, cat fanciers started to mildew the Persian to its present-day look. They bred cats to have a spherical head, brief face, snub nostril, chubby cheeks, small, rounded ears, massive eyes, and a sturdy physique. Their fur was longer than that of the Angora cat, they usually had shorter legs. Quickly, the Persians surpassed the Angoras in reputation.
In the USA, the place they have been first imported within the late 19th century, additionally they turned favorites, edging out the longhaired Maine Coon cat, which had as soon as held pleasure of place as an American sweetheart. Within the little greater than a century since, the Persian has grow to be essentially the most beloved cat breed on this planet, prized for its stunning look and candy persona.
Measurement: This can be a medium-size cat. Persians normally have a weight vary of seven to 12 kilos.
Life Span: 10 to 15 years
PERSIAN CAT PERSONALITY
The persona of the Persian cat is the product of centuries of labor.
This breed was created purely for home companionship. It’s surprisingly able to adjusting to a myriad of life, loves kids, canines, horses and even tends to journey properly.
It excels in its home duties with a presence that could be very candy, very mellow and really adaptable.
The Persian cat is acknowledged by the Cat Fanciers Affiliation (CFA), the world’s largest cat group. It’s simply one of the crucial in style pure-bred or “pedigreed” home cat breeds on the planet.
There are a number of varieties which can be nearly breeds unto themselves together with the Himalayan cat and the Chinchilla. All colours and patterns happen, and within the prime present rings, every coloration is proven individually.
The coat is lengthy and profuse with a dense undercoat. Matting happens freely and repeatedly and you need to brush this cat a number of instances every week to keep away from well being and pores and skin issues, in addition to to keep up their look.
Common grooming is usually a great and enjoyable expertise for each pet and proprietor, however should you smirked (even just a bit) while you learn that, then please do not get a Persian cat. The attraction of the magnificent coat will get previous quick if you happen to do not benefit from the maintainance, and a shaved Persian is solely a horrible waste.
These are spherical, stocky cats that, sadly, have many breed-related well being points. They’re particularly bred to be brachycephalic, (flat nosed) and with the shortening of the face comes many different skeletal points affecting the respiratory, the eyes, and presumably even the mind in excessive instances. Potential house owners ought to research breeders rigorously, and attempt to observe the grownup cats from every bloodline.
As a result of it’s easy-going and revels in quiet interplay, the Persian is a pleasant household cat that does surprisingly effectively with thoughtful youngsters, canine, and different pets, and, with grooming necessities in thoughts, is usually a actually fantastic companion for an aged residence dweller. See additionally the Unique Shorthair cat which affords lots of the Persian cats charms with out the lengthy coat.
PERSIAN CAT HEALTH
Each pedigreed cats and mixed-breed cats have various incidences of well being issues that could be genetic in nature. Though they’re stunning and candy, Persians are susceptible to various potential well being issues, mostly associated to their facial construction:
Respiratory problem or noisy respiratory brought on by constricted nostrils Dental malocclusions, which means the tooth don’t mesh nicely collectively Extreme tearing Eye circumstances reminiscent of cherry eye and entropion Warmth sensitivity Polycystic kidney illness, for which a genetic check is obtainable Predisposition to ringworm, a fungal an infection Seborrhea oleosa, a pores and skin situation that causes itchiness, redness and hair loss
PERSIAN CAT CARE
An important factor to grasp about caring for a Persian is the necessity for every day grooming. That lengthy, stunning coat doesn’t keep clear and tangle-free by itself. It should be gently however completely combed and brushed each day, and common bathing—a minimum of as soon as a month—is a good suggestion.
One other issue to think about is the litter field difficulty. Litter might turn into lodged in a Persian’s paws or coat. If the cat and the litter field aren’t stored scrupulously clear, a Persian is extra probably than most to simply cease utilizing the field.
Extreme tearing is usually a downside on this breed, so wipe the corners of the eyes clear day by day to stop under-eye stains from forming. Brush the tooth to stop periodontal illness. Every day dental hygiene is greatest, however weekly brushing is best than nothing.
It’s a good suggestion to maintain a Persian as an indoor-only cat. She’s not a scrapper and would fare poorly towards different cats, canine, coyotes and the opposite risks that face cats who go outdoor. Neither is the Persian’s coat made for shedding grime, leaves and stickers. Letting a Persian open air simply means that rather more time spent grooming the cat. Persians who go outside additionally run the chance of being stolen by somebody who wish to have such a ravishing cat with out paying for it.
PERSIAN BREED TRAITS
Through the years, the present pattern has been towards a flatter, extra excessive facial kind for the Persian. This troubles some fanciers, who really feel the acute face could be dangerous to the breed. Reported issues embrace higher respiratory issues, ‘weepy’ eyes, malocclusions, and birthing difficulties. The Peke-face crimson Persian, named after the Pekingese canine, has an much more excessive facial association. For many who like a much less excessive facial association, the Conventional Cat Affiliation (TCA) acknowledges and promotes the Conventional Persian, additionally referred to as the Doll Face Persian. This kind possesses a much less excessive look and emphasizes the candy expression.
Persians are available many colours and patterns. The varied colours, together with the breed itself, have an extended historical past of selective breeding. Breeders have labored lengthy and exhausting to excellent every, and every breeder normally makes a speciality of a couple of favorites. Inside the divisions are a large number of colours and patterns, including as much as greater than 80 varieties. The physique and face kind does differ barely from one colour to the subsequent, and subsequently judges are given some leeway in judging. The general steadiness is extra necessary than particular person traits.
PERSIAN CAT COAR AND GROOMİNG
The Persian has a particular look: a big, spherical head; giant, spherical eyes; a brief nostril; full cheeks; and small ears with rounded ideas. The top is supported by a brief, thick neck and a deceptively sturdy, muscular physique—a kind referred to as “cobby.” A Persian’s legs are brief, thick and robust with massive, spherical, agency paws. The tail is brief however proportional to the size of the cat’s physique.
An extended, thick, shiny coat with a nice texture completes the Persian’s look. It’s lengthy all around the physique and contains an immense ruff across the neck, a deep frill between the entrance legs, lengthy ear and toe tufts, and a full “brush,” or tail.

Assume twice concerning the respiratory issues such a cat may need earlier than deciding to get one. “Doll-face” Persians are mentioned to have a extra old style look, with a face that’s not as flat because the present Persian or the Peke-face Persian.
Persians of all stripes stand out for his or her infinite number of coat colours and patterns. Think about, if you’ll, seven strong coloration divisions—white, blue, black, pink, cream, chocolate and lilac—plus silver and golden division colours of chinchilla and shaded silver or golden and blue chinchilla and blue shaded silver or golden; after which there are the shaded, smoke, tabby, calico, particolor and bicolor divisions. That’s not counting the varied pointed patterns of the Himalayan. Eye colour is expounded to coat colour. As an illustration, white Persians have deep blue or good copper eyes; different solid-colored Persians have sensible copper eyes; silver and golden Persians have inexperienced or blue-green eyes; and so forth.
PERSIAN KITTENS
Persian kittens are usually just a bit much less rowdy than another breeds. They don’t seem to be as prone to escape their confines or wander away, and are often very content material to snuggle up on human furnishings.
These cats are the product of breeding for home companionship, and they also search the creature comforts. In the event you do not wish to share your mattress together with your Persian you will need to set up that boundary early or else abandon the battle.
Get your Persian kitten accustom to common grooming at an early age, and they’re going to shortly be taught to take pleasure in routine pampering.
Kitten-proofing is certainly advisable for anybody contemplating adopting or buying any kitten.
Excessive furnishings ought to be off limits, warning ought to be taken when holding these wriggly little kids, notably when carrying them throughout exhausting wooden or tile flooring, and areas beneath counters and doorways must be blocked off as they’ve a really robust urge to discover.
In Look, the Persian kitten appears very very like a miniature grownup. They have a tendency to have extra of a” child fuzz” which can fill out over time, and since the cheeks and brow develop over time as effectively, they will not have the identical expression as an grownup. There have been many posts recently regarding first years striking out with investment banking recruiting.
Now that we are nearing the end of the recruiting cycle, I wanted to provide an update on a prior post that was incredibly helpful for investment banking and Cornell Johnson hopefuls, linked here
'20-'21 was an undoubtedly challenging recruiting cycle for all involved. Not only were fewer firms across the Street recruiting, but the sheer uncertainly resulting from COVID-19 lent itself to much more conservative recruiting decisions, both in terms of headcount and selection. That being said, I believe Johnson held its ground and placed a significant number of investment banking hopefuls, on par versus prior year.
IB Opportunities
Nearly every firm runs a structured recruiting process on campus. Firms that came to campus this year, in no particular order, include: GS, JPM, MS, BoA, Citi, CS, UBS, RBC, Wells Fargo, Evercore, Lazard, Moelis, Greenhill, Guggenheim, Jefferies, Houlihan Lokey, Cain, MTS, Piper Sandler, Simmons Energy, Baird, TD, Greentech, Marathon Capital, and Harris Williams. We also placed at Rothschild and Miller Buckfire. Several firms that did not run processes this year include DB, BMO, William Blair, and Barclays. Classmates also received round 1 invites at PJT. As mentioned last year with respect to Goldman, some of these firms that don't consider Johnson a "core" school will cut 50-60% off the resume drop and maybe extend 3-4 round 1 invites. Johnson students placed into top groups at their respective firms.
The (Virtual) Process
The process can be largely broken up into two phases: Phase I includes on-campus interviews, briefings held by the banks, and on-campus networking. Phase II includes hours of Zoom/phone informationals and coffee chats. The process was a bit accelerated this year given the late start. Phase I kicked off a few weeks after orientation and lasted until the last week of October. Phase II ran until winter break in mid December. During Phase II, candidates were allocated 8 hours of interview slots to meet with 4 banks each week. While under normal circumstances, there would be logistical challenges of meeting with more banks each week, the virtual environment enabled candidates to meet with as many firms as possible any hour of the day. At my peak, I met with 15 banks in one week with coffee chats beginning as early as 6:30AM and as late as midnight. The virtual environment enabled candidates to cast a wider net. There are explicit instructions on where you need to be, what technicals you should be prepared to be asked, what emails to send, who to send them to, and even what specific time to send the emails. Each week, you may be cut from certain bank’s processes depending on your performance the previous week. Performance could entail a tech-screen, behavioral interviews with alumni, informationals, and all the other soft-skill interrogation that is par-for-the-course during IB recruiting from any MBA program.
While I had the benefit of not wasting 10 hours per week traveling to and from NYC, the process was absolutely exhausting. On any given day I had 2-5 hours of informationals + class. Sunday nights, when banks inform if you've been cut, can be demoralizing, and being on top of your technicals, recent transactions, and firm knowledge is mentally draining. Serious candidates were lucky to sleep 5 hours per night and were on the recruiting grind 7 days per week.
A large reason the process is so exhausting is the extremely high standards Cornell Johnson alumni have for their candidates. Candidates must first pass through Johnson alumni before being put in front of other and more senior members of the bank. Johnson alum take the recruiting process very seriously and expect excellence. Compared to a colleague at Stern I probably had 2x the number of informationals and coffee chats, reaching well north of 100. From a technical perspective, Johnson leverages its own set of technical prep questions and the 400 guide. Each week, Johnson candidates are given a set of technicals to be proficient in. Alumni are aware of where we are in the guides and those questions are all fair game to be asked in our informationals. Alumni are also aware that questions asked in informationals are shared essentially in real time over Slack and really push the boundaries of acceptable questions to ask. In one such coffee chat, the interviewer pulled up a case study over Zoom and asked that I create the pro-forma balance sheet from provided information. The technical knowledge necessary compounds and questions get more challenging week over week. Week 1 may include the simple walk me through $10 of depreciation. Week 5 will feature napkin LBOs.
Evaluating the Process
Candidly, my choice to apply to Johnson on a whim was absolutely worth it. The recruiting process was insane, but gave me the structure I needed to get an offer. The schedule was very demanding, coupled with a heavy fall course load, but the schedule gave me the chance to demonstrate my abilities. Even in a virtual environment, my class was very close and worked together throughout the process. I believe this experience creates a bond amongst first years and alumni immediately share that connection. Year over year, we are making in roads at more firms, achieving "target" status at new shops, and generally have developed an image of having the grindy/scrappy mentality that firms look for in summer associates. Johnson gets a lukewarm reputation on various forums for its place in the rankings, but Johnson is absolutely a heavy hitter in IB placement.
I will plug thoughts on competition, negatives, and closing remarks from last year's post because they remain the same:
Competition:
I did not feel competition with classmates while recruiting IB at Johnson. I am not naive; I understand that at some level IB offers are a zero-sum game. However, at Johnson, the sheer totality of structured opportunities changes the thought process from “PrestigiousBank1 has X offers this year so I am competing with my classmates for those offers” to “There are going to be at least 12 offers from one of PrestigiousBank1, PretigiousBank2, or PrestigiousBank3 where I am in the running and if I stay on my game I can get one of them.” That attitude is emphasized by the finance club and behavior which prioritizes yourself above classmates (such as backdooring processes or telling multiple banks they are your number 1 choice) is explicitly discouraged by Johnson alumni at the banks. Your classmates are your support system and alumni expect you to go through the gauntlet together. This attitude creates strong connections amongst the class which translates to a strong Wall Street network. Alumni emphasized this point repeatedly in informationals.
Negatives:
Some people would consider the structure a negative if they are supreme networkers who perform best in entrepreneurial environments. That person is not me so I can’t really speak to it. I think the largest idiosyncratic “downside” to Johnson is that the structure and close alumni network make it neigh- impossible to hoard offers. Alumni will know through their friends where you are tracking so nobody is able to sit on 5-6 offers. 95% of candidates will only have 1-2 offers at the end of the day. Frankly, I don’t consider this a downside. By limiting hoarding offers, we maximize our placement across the street.
The other downside worth mentioning is difficult to evaluate. As of this date there are a few strong candidates without offers. Still, there should be at least two more offers coming through the pipeline. From talking with friends at other business schools, this was a down year for IB recruiting but apparently there are deserving folks who strike out every single year from every single school. I don’t believe the few deserving candidates we currently have without offers are inevitable, but I also can’t identify a specific weakness in the process that led to their outcomes.
Overall:
Anybody who wants to recruit IB out of their MBA program should send an app to Cornell Johnson. It is an ideal safety for someone targeting CBS or Wharton, and if you can wrangle money out of Johnson vs going to some of the other strong finance programs at full sticker price, I think Johnson could be a no-brainer. If you are a career switcher who just wants to get into IB, Johnson will give you the opportunity to recruit across every name brand BB and EB on Wall Street. And if you are a finance stud who wants to work for the best groups at the most prestigious banks in the world, Johnson will let you control your own destiny.
----
Having a professional background in finance helps from a learning curve perspective. Those with finance backgrounds have to put a little less effort into learning technicals relative to pure career switchers that have never looked at a P&L before.
I recruited amongst CFAs and CPAs and while they were able to get their foot in the door with banks quite easily, I don't believe they were materially better off than career switchers because cultural fit and personality are far more important than technical proficiency. A few classmates had significant M&A and capital raising experience and they were by far the most sought after.
As every banker will say, technical proficiency is a "check the box". Johnson gives every IB candidate enough resources to "check the box" with every firm. At the end of the day, it comes down to cultural fit, being someone that bankers want to work with, and demonstrating interest in the career path.
---
Q:  When (if) they ask about where you see your future career path, is it frowned upon to say you'd like to end up in Corp Dev/Fin after 2 years as an associate or are they looking for the "career banker" response?
A: If you were interviewing for any other job, would you tell the hiring manager that you are planning to leave after a year to pursue something else?Conversely, if you were the hiring manager, would you give an offer to someone who doesn't really want to be there?Play the game, drink the kool aid, you were born to bank. Also, just my opinion, if you go into IB with your eyes set on something else, you will be absolutely miserable.

Bill to Regulate Income-Share Agreements Moves Through the California Legislature, Again
University students in California could soon be able to delay paying college tuition until after they graduate and land a job.
California’s Assembly Committee on Higher Education approved a bill on Tuesday to pilot income-share agreements at the California State University and University of California systems. The legislation passed with a 12-0 vote and now heads to the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
Proposed by Assemblyman Randy Voepel (R-Santee), the bill would provide funds to enable students and their universities to enter income-share agreements, which require students to pay back a portion of their salary after graduating instead of paying tuition up-front. The two-year pilot program would begin in the 2021-22 academic year, and the university systems would be required to report back about the pilot to the California Legislature in 2023 and 2026.
Advocates of the income-share model say it provides an alternative to traditional student loans and the sticker shock of college. The bill states that the “agreement is not a debt instrument and “the repayment obligation of the student under the agreement may not be dischargeable under bankruptcy law.”
On Tuesday, Voepel said that “ISAs provide another financing option to alleviate the monetary burden on students earning their bachelor’s degrees,” adding that the pilot would serve to “examine the effectiveness” of the model.
Critics, however, say income-share agreements could favor students who are projected to make higher earnings by not offering the option to students in lower-paying fields, that students could pay back much more than standard tuition, and that allowing private investors to fund ISAs can create new risks to students and institutions.
If the university will experiment to provide additional assistance to students, that better be done with public resources.
The California Faculty Association is against the bill, saying it would be better to provide more financial aid to students, and that it risks learning on private industry. “This is innovative in the idea given there is no interest on it, but if the university will experiment to provide additional assistance to students, that better be done with public resources and not tools backed by private investors,” a representative from CFA said on Tuesday.
Lawmakers have tried in the past to regulate the ISA model, albeit many of those efforts have fallen flat. Voepel proposed a similar ISA bill in the 2018 legislative season. That bill also passed unanimously in the Assembly but did not pass the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Meanwhile, New York prevents schools from charging different amounts for the same program, which would hinder income-share agreement providers from collecting different amounts from students after graduating.
And at the federal level, senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Todd Young (R-IN) introduced the Investing in Student Success Act, S. 268 in 2017, with the aim of providing legal structure for income-share agreements. The proposed legislation has yet to move forward in the Senate.
The income-share agreement model has become a popular pitch among for-profit coding bootcamps, which seek to train students in tech skills over a short period. (A recent study, however, shows only around 1 percent of bootcamps offer ISAs.)
Lack of regulation hasn’t stopped several non-profit institutions from giving the income-share model a try. In 2016, Purdue University launched its Back-A-Boiler program, which offers students $10,000 per year to cover the cost of tuition before they pay back a portion of their income after graduating. Colorado Mountain College offers ISAs for undocumented studnets, who can take out $3,000 per year and do not pay back more than the ISA amount they take out.
The California pilot would require students to pay back a percentage of their income for a maximum of 10 years, and payments would not begin until a student makes at least $20,000. If a student makes less than $20,000 during that period say, to go back to school or take time off, the payment period pauses.
Voepel’s 2018 ISA bill attempted to allocate $600,000 for CSUs and $250,000 for UCs, according to a legislative assistant for the assemblyman. The amount funded for the bill will be determined in the Appropriations Committee, and those funds would be distributed among California universities that choose to participate.
Private investors and companies would be allowed to inject more funding into particular programs if the pilot is deemed successful. “I anticipate corporations funding this in the future,” Voepel said.
Casey Jennings, COO of nonprofit 13th Avenue funding, which advised Purdue’s ISA program, pointed out on Tuesday that nothing currently prevents higher-ed institutions from offering ISAs, and that the bill would regulate a model that already exists. Students in California already take out ISAs at coding bootcamps, or in public programs such as UC San Diego Extension and at the two-year Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, Calif.
“ISAs offer the potential to move some of that [student debt] risk from the students to a party better able to bear that risk,” said Jennings. But “there’s no oversight, there’s no regulation.”
Students in their sophomore, junior or senior year would be eligible to participate in the pilot program. To discourage universities from prioritizing majors that could lead to higher-paying salaries, the bill states that “students approved to participate in the pilot program be enrolled in a wide variety of baccalaureate degree programs.”

Drama: An open letter to Gavin and EthCore by Piper Merriam
tl;dr - There's been long simmering tension between many non-Parity core devs and Gavin. Much of the community doesn't know; Piper decided to inform us.
Play by play: Digix announced the Kovan testnet using Parity, a couple days after the dev call where they had discussed testnet solutions.  Parity was already working on a solution, but did not inform the others during the call.  Gavin says Digix, et al, wanted to keep it quiet.
Digix says Parity was only tangentially involved.

This was the first time I could foresee even the remotest possibility of Ethereum politics breaking down into the irreparable dysfunction of Bitcoin politics.  Let's cross our fingers and swallow our egos to avoid that.

I want to remember forever
Wednesday May 11th, 2016-I was already out with my friends, quite drunk I may add. I saw you from the line outside of Cool Beans. I remember telling Abbey about how mad I was that you were talking to some girl inside. But, when I walked in everything changed. You looked me up and down with a big grin, and asked Abbey who this beautiful lady was.. me. I was attached to your hip all night, meeting friends of yours. Little did I know these would be people I'd here about, and get to know. We went back to my place, if only I could remember how we got there.
Thursday May 12, 2016- The morning of your graduation from a Master’s of Public Health. This was the second night ever that you stayed with me. I remember waking up so sick that morning. I’ll always be envious of your ability to never be hungover after drinking. We were rolling around a little bit, kissing, when I knew I was going to be sick. I jumped up from the bed and straight to the toilet I went. How embarrassing... this soon and I’m already puking. I can’t believe you stuck around after that. Not shortly after, I was puking again. This time you graved my hair, and got me ice water. After cleaning myself up, I had to drive you to meet a friend for breakfast. I was still feeling sick and you laughed at me while I kept making wrong turns around downtown Knox. After a short nap I was giddy about waking up to a text from you wanting to hang out. You came over and we spent the afternoon watching t.v while you had your head in my lap. I remember thinking that I couldn’t believe that you were doing that, and that it must be that you just might like me. You left me with a kiss before heading out the door to get ready for your graduation. Later that night I picked you and your friends up to go out. It rained, and the night was no fun, but I was happy to have you come back home to me.
Friday May 13th, 2016- I woke up early to go to Abbey’s graduation. It was long and extremely boring, but I couldn’t wait to get back to you. When I finally got back to my room from what felt like forever, I found you still naked in my bed. I couldn't help but to crawl in your arms in that moment. We decided to go on our very first breakfast date to Gourmet Market. That morning started our forever argument about whether our favorite meal was really called the Breakfast Bowl or Rib Sticker. Later that afternoon I met you out at the pool with a bunch of camp vets. I was so nervous, but you quickly showed me that you wanted me there. I will never forget when you came and sat so close to me in the pool. With each beer and passing minute we got closer and closer. You’d grab my hips, or pull me aside for a kiss in hiding.. because Kirby just conveniently showed up. I was so tired from the afternoon that I didn't go out that night, but surely you showed up and crawled into bed with me.
Saturday May 14th, 2016- MY GRADUATION DAY. We quickly went and grabbed some CFA before I needed to get ready to meet my family. I couldn't hardly keep my happiness to myself while walking around downtown and eating at Stock and Barrel. I was giddy just thinking about the thought of you watching me walk across the stage. To my surprise I heard you call my name to see me right after. You had said I looked beautiful. After a steak dinner with my family, you met me out at the bars. I had Greg with me, but you were so welcoming. I was on cloud 9 that entire night, loving every minute of four “brothers” buying me drinks all night. That was the first time I ever got to meet Dustin. Dustin drove us home, and I’ll never forget when you told me you couldn’t wait to hold me all night when we finally got back to my apartment.
