This is Sony (1989 Analog HDTV 1080i HDVS Video Demonstration Disc)
This is "This is Sony" (HD-123) from a Sony-made high-definition 12" HDVS videodisc. The HDVS disc format was designed to be a highly portable 12" laserdisc-derived media format for Sony's "High-Definition Video System" or "Hi-Vision" back in the early 1990's! Back then, high definition was a little different from how it is now. It was analog (not digital) & close to but slightly different in resolution to the 1080i picture we receive over the air today as it was technically 1125i/1035i. Before the earliest high-definition media was available to the public (via satellite, MUSE Laserdisc, & W-VHS tapes), Sony and other companies began shooting footage, doing research, and, showing public displays of high-definition television. There were three main ways of storing HDTV (or HDVS) at that time: Reel-to-reel tape (HDV-1000), cartridge tape (HDV-10 "UniHi"), & 12" Laserdisc-style discs (HDL-5800 / HDL-2000). This footage came from one of the Laserdisc-style discs. These HDVS discs could only hold a maximum of 15 minutes of video (on CLV discs, even less on CAV discs)…but it held uncompressed, raw high-definition component video! Take that, Blu-Ray. This video is one of the first videos to be produced for the HDVS disc format in 1989. This analog HD recording focuses on some of the many technologies that Sony was using & manufacturing at the time such as Hi8 camcorders, Discman CD players, D-2 digital tape recorders, 48-track PCM recorders, and the very unusual Sony NEWS workstation computers. The video is split into four sections: Semiconductor Factory, Network Station, Factory Automation, & Broadcast System For Professionals. It features some rare footage of the inside of Sony's factories and some very cool footage that was used in various 1988-era commercials & advertisements which has never before been seen in HD. As a result, it is likely that this footage may have actually been taped in 1988.

 本作の主人公は売れないマンガ家おじさん・よしお(35歳)と、その姪・美咲(16歳)です。4年ぶりの再会でギャルになっていた美咲は、暇つぶしに来た「よしおじ」(よしおの愛称)の家で懐かしの「ヒャミコン」を見つけ、何もないよりはマシとプレイ開始。よしおは仕事をジャマされながらも、昔のゲームをプレイする美咲にアドバイスしたりツッコミを入れたりして交流していきます。登場するゲームは、タイトルこそもじっているものの、ネタを見れば元タイトルが分かる有名どころが揃っています。

 作中で「スペランキング」と題されたゲームはスペランカー。身長と同じくらいの高さの穴に落ちて死ぬのは有名ですね。あまりの難易度に美咲もさっさと投げ出すありさま。ちょっと調べてみたところ、このシビアな難易度はファミコンに移植された際のアレンジによるものだとか。

 「クレイジーバイク」と題されたゲームはエキサイトバイク。大事故しても「スペランキング」のように死ぬことはない点が美咲にはウケた様子。美咲が初めてクリアできたゲームでもあります。こちらもちょっと調べてみたところ、ニンテンドーク��シックミニの説明書ページ には エキサイトバイクの説明書PDF があり、ちゃんと残ってるんだなあ、としみじみしました。
 この他にも、スパルタンX、ドンキーコング、スーパーマリオブラザーズ、バルーンファイト、ドクターマリオ、ドラゴンクエスト、さらにゲーム機を広げて、桃太郎電鉄、ポケットモンスター(初代)、ときめきメモリアル、ストリートファイター――と様々なゲームのネタが登場します。よしおと同世代の読者をしっかり狙ってくるチョイス、いい……。また、ゲームの登場につれてキャラの方も、美咲の友人で黒ギャルのゆかりや、同じく友人のギャル男・ケンゾーが加わって、ワイワイにぎやかになっていきます。

 本作の楽しさは、ゲームネタを通じた、よしおと美咲の掛け合いです。よしおにとってのゲームあるあるやノスタルジーは、美咲にしてみればウケポイントであったり理不尽であったりする。こうしたある種の世代間ギャップが笑いを誘うのです。

 その最たるものは「ドラゴンファンタジー」(元ネタはドラゴンクエスト)でしょうか。「ふっかつのことば」でコンティニューされたデータの主人公の名前が「よしお」であることに美咲はウケた様子。自分や友だちの名前をつけるのはあるある、とよしおが説明すると、美咲はさらに「ハルコ」の名前にツッコんでくる始末。このよしおの顔、図星を突かれた顔だ!

 ニューゲームをプレイ開始した美咲は、何の説明もなくフィールドに放り出され、どうしていいか分からない状態に。隣にある街に気づくこともなく、フィールドをさまよい始めます。今どきのゲームなら最初に操作方法やストーリーのチュートリアルがあるところ、昔は説明書を読まないと分からないこともありましたよねえ。

 説明書を探していたよしおが、代わりに発掘したのは黒歴史ノート。あいたたたたたた。もちろん美咲には大ウケ。いやこれノートの存在を晒す時点でよしおマジ勇気あるっしょ。

 そしてなかなか攻略が進まない美咲に対するよしおのアドバイスはゲーム内セリフのよう。よしお自身が「オヤジ」と呼ばれる年代であることが、この会話を味わい深いものにしています。
 本作はこのように同じゲームをふたつの視点で見ていく話ですが、よしおだけでなく美咲の言動もまた、読者にノスタルジーを呼び起こすものかもしれません。だって美咲の「ドラゴンファンタジー」のプレイっぷり、筆者が小学校低学年の時に、おばさんから借りたファイナルファンタジーのプレイっぷりとそっくりなんだもん……。小さい頃って、ゲームをプレイする思考の枠組み、特にロールプレイングゲームのそれは、まだ形成途中の段階だと思うんですよね。美咲はそれを所々トレースしていて、かつての自分自身を思い起こさせてくれるところがあります。
 とかく、ゲームに素朴に触れている美咲がイイんですよね。ブーブー言いつつも楽しんでたり、表情豊かに一喜一憂したり、冷静に見れば「せやな」と思える的確なツッコミをしたり。その素朴な反応こそ、私たちが触れてきたゲーム文化の、奇怪で複雑であるがゆえの豊穣を映し出しているように思うのです。ゲームネタを通じてその豊穣を丁寧にすくい上げる、まっすぐでステキな作品だと思いました。
 さて、最後に「ふっかつのことば」の書き取りの時間です。

(CLV) – NSƯT Tâm Tâm cho biết nghệ sĩ Chiêu Linh bị nhồi máu cơ tim, dù được người nhà đưa đến Bệnh viện Nhân dân 115 cấp cứu nhưng ông đã trút hơi thở lúc 11 giờ 48 phút ngày 2-2 ở tuổi 55. Nghệ sĩ Chiêu Linh Nghệ sĩ Chiêu Linh tên thật Trần Văn Su Ky, sinh ngày 7-7-1966. Ông học ca cổ và tham gia phong trào đờn ca tài tử từ nhỏ. Năm 17 tuổi, ông theo các nghệ sĩ cải lương lưu diễn ở các đoàn…

 Phải thừa nhận ngài thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc của nước ta có đầu óc khôi hài và giỏi tưởng tưởng nhất quả đất.
Dù bận trăm công nghìn việc, nhưng hễ mỗi lần đi công cán đến  địa phương nào là ngài sẽ có ngay những câu tuyên bố nổ vang trời. Làm cho người dân dù vất vả bận rộn đến mấy, nhưng hễ nghe ngài lên tiếng là mọi lo âu phiền toái trong cuộc sống bộn bề đều tan biến đâu mất, và gieo vào lòng niềm hy vọng não nề. Ồ quên: Niềm hy vọng bao la vô bờ bến.
Các vị nguyên thủ quốc gia của những nước dãy chết còn phải xếp hàng dài dài, theo học cách phát ngôn của ngài thủ tướng nước ta cũng đừng mơ theo kịp.
Ngay từ những tháng đầu tiên khi gánh vác trọng trách của một vị nguyên thủ quốc gia hơn chín mươi triệu dân, ngài đã có những phát ngôn đi vào lịch sử, làm cho “niền tự hào dân tộc”của người Việt cứ tăng trưởng theo đà tham nhũng của các quan tham. Những phát ngôn lẫy lừng khí phách của ngài thủ tướng vẫn “liên tục phát triển và ngày càng được nâng lên một tầm cao mới”.
Này nhé: Ngày 26/10/2016, khi mới ngồi ghế thủ tướng chính phủ được nửa năm, tại hội nghị cấp cao hợp tác Campuchia-Lào-Myanmar-Việt Nam lần thứ 8, diễn ra tại Hà Nội từ ngày 24/6 đến ngày 26/6/2016. Ngài thủ tướng Việt Nam Nguyễn Xuân Phúc phát biểu nói về tác dụng của vốn ADB trong việc phát triển kinh tế, kết nối hạ tầng giao thông của 4 khu vực gồm: tiểu vùng sông Mê Công, ACMECS, CLMV, CLV. Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc đọc là "cờ lờ mờ vờ", và "cờ lờ vờ"(1).
Đấy. Ngài phát âm tiếng Việt chuẩn cực kỳ. Ngài không cần đọc theo ý của những cụm từ viết tắt này là "Campuchia, Lào, Mianma, Việt Nam", và "Campuchia, Lào, Việt Nam", mà ngài đọc nguyên văn ghi trong văn bản, ai hiểu thì hiểu. Mà đây là hội nghị quốc tế có nhiều đại biểu người nước ngoài, cho nên dù ngài có đọc đúng cụm từ tiếng Việt thì chắc gì họ đã hiểu. Thôi thì cứ đọc theo nguyên văn mấy chữ cái cho chắc.
Thế mà cái bọn “nhàn cư vi bất thiện” cứ “suy bụng ta ra bụng người”. Chúng cho rằng: ông thủ tướng đang “so sánh” cái l… của mẹ vợ (CLMV) và cái l… của vợ (CLV). Thật là bậy bạ hết chỗ nói.
Chưa hết: Chúng còn lôi ra lần ông phát biểu tại hội nghị "Doanh nghiệp Việt Nam – động lực phát triển kinh tế của đất nước" hôm 29/4/2016 tại  Sài Gòn. Tại đây ông Phúc tỏ ra nghiêm nghị và nói một cách hùng hồn:
“Đặc biệt, tạo điều kiện cho doanh nghiệp phát triển và hội nhập để không những phát triển kinh tế trong nước mà còn có nhiều doanh nghiệp xuất khẩu ở nước ngoài, mang thương hiệu mà ta hay gọi là “Ma-dzê in Việt Nam”.
Vậy là cái biệt danh “Phúc Ma-dzê in”bắt nguồn từ đây.
Chúng vẫn chưa tha cho ổng. Chúng còn dẫn chứng rằng: “Tại buổi làm việc với TPHCM ngày 27/6/2016, để đánh giá kết quả thực hiện nhiệm vụ kinh tế-xã hội 6 tháng đầu năm 2016, thủ tướng chính phủ Nguyễn Xuân Phúc nói: “TPHCM phải là hòn ngọc chiếu sáng Viễn Đông”… "TPHCM phải phát huy được vai trò đầu tàu. Là hòn ngọc chiếu sáng Viễn Đông chứ không phải hòn ngọc Viễn Đông thông thường"(2).
Chúng còn tìm cách “chẻ sợi tóc làm tư” khi nói rằng câu nói này sai hai ý:
Thứ nhất là sai kiến thức vật lý. Ngọc chỉ là một loại đá, tự thân nó không phát sáng như ngọn đèn hay mặt trời, nên tự nó không chiếu sáng hay tỏa sáng được cho ai. Nó chỉ phản xạ ánh sáng của kẻ khác mà thôi.
Thứ hai là sai kiến thức địa lý. Người Pháp khi đứng từ nước Pháp mới gọi vùng Đông Á là vùng Viễn Đông.
Còn người Việt Nam đang đứng trên đất nước Việt Nam thì không thể nào gọi Đông Á, trong đó có Việt Nam là Viễn Đông được?
Kể ra bọn chúng cũng lo xa quá. Hòn ngọc, bản thân nó không phát tự phát sáng. Nhưng dưới bàn tay kỳ diệu của ngài thủ tướng mà nó phát sáng được mới tài. Phải coi đó là một sáng tạo mới đúng chứ?
Lại nói đến hai chữ “đầu tàu”. Chúng còn nói rằng đồng chí thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc thường xuyên phát biểu những câu ngớ ngẩn như: “Quảng Ninh là đầu tàu kinh tế của cả nước”, “Vĩnh Phúc sẽ vươn lên trở thành đầu tàu kinh tế của cả nước”, “Long An phải trở thành đầu tàu kinh tế của cả nước”, “Hải Phòng là đầu tàu quan trọng của cả nước”, “Bình Dương phải là đầu tàu phát triển kinh tế mạnh nhất của cả nước”, “Đà Nẵng phải là thành phố độc đáo nhất, vô nhị trên thế giới”, “Đà Nẵng phát triển như Singapore, Hồng Kông”…
Ý tưởng vĩ đại của ngài thủ tướng là chỗ đó. Ngài đâu có nói trong thời gian bao lâu thì Đà Nẵng được như Singapore, như Hồng Kông. Cứ tin tưởng vào sự lãnh đạo sáng suốt và tài tình dưới bàn tay lèo lái của ngài đi. Thế kỷ này chưa làm được thì thế kỷ sau có sao đâu. Cũng như ngài phó TT Vũ Đức Đam từng nói với giới trẻ rằng: “Hoàng Sa là của Việt Nam. Trung quốc đã dùng vũ lực để chiếm Hoàng Sa và nhất định chúng ta phải đòi lại. Đời tôi, đời các bạn chưa đòi được thì con cháu chúng ta sẽ tiếp tục đòi lại”(3).
Óc sáng tạo của ngài thủ tướng phong phú và đa dạng là ở chỗ: Ngài không chỉ dùng từ đầu tàu cho các địa phương khi ngài đến thăm, ngài còn dùng cụm từ khác bay bổng hơn, mỹ miều hơn: “Phát biểu tại buổi làm việc với lãnh đạo chủ chốt của tỉnh Quảng Ninh, sáng 24/5/2020 tại TP. Hạ Long, thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc khẳng định Quảng Ninh là hình mẫu về chuyển đổi mô hình kinh tế; đồng thời yêu cầu Quảng Ninh phải là một động lực đóng góp cho sự hưng thịnh của quốc gia”(4).
Hai chữ động lực nghe mạnh mẽ và khí thế hơn hai chữ đầu tàu nhiều. Vì có đầu tàu mà không có động lực thì cũng nằm bẹp một chỗ mà thôi.
Chưa hết. Một tỉnh miền núi vào loại nghèo nhất nước, hằng năm sống nhờ ngân sách trung ương tài trợ như Lào Cai. Vậy mà khi thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc đến thăm thì… bỗng “rũ bùn – đứng dậy – sáng lòa”.
“Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc nhấn mạnh Lào Cai phải nỗ lực hơn nữa, quyết tâm hơn nữa để hướng tới mục tiêu là đầu tầu kinh tế của khu vực Tây Bắc và đứng trong top 15 tỉnh phát triển của cả nước”(5).
Nghĩa là Lào Cai sau khi được ngài thủ tướng tiếp sức, sẽ vươn lên mạnh mẽ và đạp trên đầu 48 tỉnh thành còn lại. Ghê  gớm chưa?
Phải thừa nhận cách dùng câu chữ của ngài thủ tướng như… trận đồ bát quái, người thường khó mà hiểu biết hết những ý thâm sâu trong đó.
Trong chỉ thị 16 về “Cách ly toàn xã hội: tinh thần là tỉnh nào ở tỉnh đó, huyện nào ở huyện đó, xã nào ở xã đó, thôn nào ở thôn đó, nhà nào ở nhà đó”(6).
Rất nhiều người không hiểu “cách ly toàn xã hội” là gì? Có phải là lệnh phong tỏa toàn quốc hay không?
Vậy là các địa phương thi nhau rào làng, đắp lũy, dăng dây kẽm gai để “chống dịch như chống giặc”.
Hậu quả là ông chủ nhiệm VPCP Mai Tiến Dũng phải thanh minh thanh nga, rằng thì là cách ly toàn xã hội không phải là ngăn sông cấm chợ. Rằng thì là “cách ly xã hội không phải là thiết quân luật hay phong tỏa đất nước, không đóng cửa siêu thị và những cửa hàng bán đồ thiết yếu như lương thực, thực phẩm, rau quả, xăng dầu. Không ai cho phép các địa phương ngăn cấm đi lại như vậy".
Óc khôi hài và  tưởng tượng phong phú của ngài thủ tướng có mặt mọi lúc mọi nơi và luôn bắt nhịp với hơi thở của thời đại.
“Tại cuộc họp bàn về giải pháp thù hút đầu tư nước ngoài, thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc cho rằng, Việt Nam là điểm đến an toàn, vì vậy Việt Nam có cơ hội, có nhiều lợi thế để đón đầu làn sóng này, thu hút các “đại bàng” đến làm tổ”(7).
Kết quả là 27 doanh nghiệp của Mỹ rời Trung quốc mà chẳng con đại bàng nào đến Viêt Nam để đẻ, mặc dù ổ đã lót sẵn. Chúng thi nhau bay sang Indonesia hết.
Đây nữa: “Lò-xo” kinh tế sẽ bật lên khi dịch bệnh cơ bản được giải quyết.
Việc hỗ trợ người lao động mất việc, người nghèo, người yếu thế, bảo đảm an sinh xã hội, với tinh thần như một chiếc lò-xo bị nén, chuẩn bị đón bắt thời cơ, biến nguy thành cơ để phát triển khi dịch giảm, bị chặn đứng”(8).
Không biết lò-xo bật dậy đến đâu, nhưng điều mà ai cũng thấy là gói cứu trợ không vào những hộ nghèo mất việc do dịch bệnh, mà đa số đi lạc vào nhà quan, những kẻ có ô-tô nhà lầu.
Và hậu quả trước mắt là chính phủ đề nghị quốc hội không tăng lương cho cán bộ, công nhân viên chức như kế hoạch ban đầu là tăng vào đầu tháng 7 năm 2020, làm hàng triệu người cụt hứng. Nói trắng ra, nói tăng lương nhưng thực chất  chẳng qua là bù trượt giá mà thôi.
Ca ngợi tài “kinh bang tế thế” của ngài thủ tướng mà không nói đến tài thơ của ngài là một thiếu sót lớn.
“Ngày 30/01/2020, thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc bày tỏ vui mừng dự lễ hưởng ứng Tết trồng cây đời đời nhớ ơn bác Hồ tại xã Việt Cường, huyện Trấn Yên, tỉnh Yên Bái”.
Tại đây dòng máu thi ca trong ngài sôi lên. Ngài bỗng nổi hứng đọc mấy câu thơ như sau: “Sông Hồng sóng cuộn phù sa / Chảy xuôi Yên Bái chia ra hai bờ / Mường Lò đẹp đến sững sờ / Khiến hồn lữ khách thẫn thờ miên man / Trập trùng dãy ruộng bậc thang / Lúa xanh óng ả bạt ngàn nhấp nhô”(9).
Cái tài của ngài và các quân sư quạt mo của ổng là đã phát minh ra một hiện tượng tự nhiên rất… vĩ đại, khi nói rằng “Sông Hồng sóng cuộn phù sa / Chảy xuôi Yên Bái chia ra hai bờ”. Ô hô thiên địa! Một điều hiển nhiên như vậy mà không ai biết. Chỉ có con mắt tinh đời của ngài thủ tướng mới phát hiện ra. Nhiều người hỏi rằng, vậy thì trước khi đến Yên Bái sông Hồng có mấy bờ? Hỏi vậy mà cũng đi hỏi làm cho ngài thủ tướng tắc tỵ.
Đến đây thì hàng chục ngàn bò đỏ, DLV [dư luận viên] và lực lượng 47, dù có yêu mến ngài thủ tướng nhà ta cách mấy, cũng không dám mở lời bênh được tý nào. Vì những phát ngôn của ngài thủ tướng quá xuất sắc, vượt quá tầm thời đại.
Có người nói đây là bệnh nổ không những của ngài thủ tướng, mà là căn bệnh chung của các quan chức cs, của giới tự cho mình là “đỉnh cao trí tuệ”. Cũng có người nói đây là căn bệnh bẩm sinh do khuyết tật ở cái đầu “tháp nghiêng”mà ra.
Nhưng nói gì thì nói, ít nhất nó cũng mang lại những tiếng cười sảng khoái  miễn phí cho người dân Việt Nam, làm gia vị cho những cuộc bình loạn những lúc trà dư tửu hậu. Vậy thì cũng tốt chứ sao?
Vẫn biết người dân bây giờ phải sống bằng niềm tin là chính. Tin rằng đến cuối thế kỷ này không biết đã xây dựng thành công CNXH hay chưa. Nghĩa là sống theo“phép thắng lợi tinh thần”.

Nhưng đem cái L của mẹ vợ (CLMV) đi so sánh với cái L của vợ (CLV) thì hoàn toàn không chấp nhận được. Phải không các bạn?
