Willow Creek (Braieforma Alliance)
Braieforma Palace
The Alliance is in mourning when their elderly King Archer Braieforma suddenly passed away after his runaway marriage and arrival of science baby children. His heir, Samantha Braieforma, stepped up to the role of Queen in her teenage years. With her boyfriend, Prince Sampson, by her side, she dropped out of school to join the Council of Kings and nervously takes on life as a world leader.

Everyman Academy
The new generation shows a bright and promising future as far as Willow Creek is concerned. Many are striking out as entrepreneurs and philanthropists, while others seek to help their royal sister/cousin with her royal duties. A new era of Her Majesties Secret Service will also begin upon graduation, as well as new advisors and military leaders.

Willow Creek Life
Willow Creek has become a haven for the lost and abandoned. After Regan Kincaid reached out for friends after her husband's death, and she found comfort in the widower King Archer, they were quickly married and had children. He passed away shortly after, and the twice widowed Regan fled the palace with her children. The newly queened Samantha promised Regan support and a family, but Regan still grieves and worries alone, scared to try love again.
Meanwhile, the current Captain of the Guard took in a widow after being widowed herself, hoping to help Ayumi Maeda in getting peace of mind with her new family.

Tartosa (Vakki Duchy)
Vakki Castle
Life has not been as easy going and calm in the Duchy of Tartosa. Many figureheads contributed in the relief effort of Invasion after Invasion, and many have perished. After Tartosa failed to make a militia of its own, it was figured that none was needed and no other efforts were made to make an army.
The royal family can only hope that no malicious forces see Tartosa as a target for Invasion.

The youth of Tartosa seem to have their lives all planned out for them. Archduke Coriolano is set to marry his fiance Cleo Faltal-Aoki when they become adults, while other teens look to head the many entrepreneurial roles around the Duchy to keep it the romantic, peaceful province it's always been famous for.

Forgotten Hollow (The Eighth Bastion)
Lamia Castle
After the death of both the Grand Count and Count during the Second Invasion, the Grand Countess Juri Uchibayashi held the throne until her son, Grand Count Nicolai, was an adult and ready to rule. Which didn't mean she didn't take time to mend her broken heart by romancing the local genealogist. She had to make the tough decision to not find a way to turn into a vampire and possibly live forever, knowing that one day she would join her husband in the afterlife.
With either a vampire or werewolf equating to at least one hundred men, Lord Sozen Bane put out the word to any vampire or werewolf wishing to be a part of the Bastion to help in the fighting and protecting of the Hollow. Time will tell who answers the call.

Forgotten Hollow Life
With many of this generation of vampires born out of obligation or spite, many find themselves listlessly going through life. And while Nicolai Lamia is eager to become a Grand Count and be a part of the Council of Kings, his mother forced him to stay in school and get his kingly education before he ascends.
And while some have a quiet but boring life, transplant Pale Braie has anything but. Being widowed from her werewolf wife and dating an introverted spellcaster, Pale has been left with children from almost all occult statuses. With little help and support from the Lamia family, she's looking to leave to be with her hopefully soon-to-be boyfriend in Glimmerbrook.

The hearing of remedies such as for preliminary injunctions may proceed to prevent ,for instance the husband from disposing conjugal properties designed to injure the interest of the wife.
Let's take the case of Dela Vina vs . Villarreal
This is an original petition presented in the Supreme Court. Its purpose is to obtain an order declaring: (a) That the respondent, the Honorable Antonio Villareal, as Auxiliary Judge sitting in the Court of First Instance of the province of Iloilo, has no jurisdiction to take cognizance of a certain action for divorce instituted in said court by the respondent Narcisa Geopano against her husband, Diego de la Viña, the petitioner herein.
(b) that the said respondent judge has exceeded his power and authority in issuing, in said action, a preliminary injunction against the said petitioner prohibiting him from alienating or encumberring any part of the conjugal property during the pendency of the action; and (c) that all the proceedings theretofore had in said court were null and void.
It appears from the record that on September 17, 1917, Narcisa Geopano filed a complaint in the Court of First Instance of the Province of Iloilo against Diego de la Viña, alleging:
(1) That she was a resident of the municipality of Iloilo, Province of Iloilo, and that the defendant was a resident of the municipality of Vallehermoso, Province of Oriental Negros; (2) that she was the legitimate wife of the defendant ; (3) petitioner defendant had lived as husband and wife and had nine children, three of whom were living and were already of age; (4) that during their marriage plaintiff and defendant had acquired property, real and personal, the value of which was about P300,000 and all of w(5) that since the year 1913 and up to the date of the complaint, the defendant had been committing acts of adultery with one Ana Calog, sustaining illicit relations with her and having her as his concubine, with public scandal and in disgrace of the plaintiff; (6) that because of said illicit relations, the defendant ejected the plaintiff from the conjugal home, for which reason she was obliged to live in the city of Iloilo, where she had since established her habitual residence; and (7) that the plaintiff, scorned by her husband, the defendant, had no means of support and was living only at the expense of one of her daughters. Upon said allegations she prayed for (a) a decree of divorce, (b) the partition of the conjugal property, and (c) alimony pendente lite in the sum of P400 per month.
Issue
Whether or not the respondent judge had no jurisdiction to take cognizance of the action in question, and had exceeded his power and authority in issuing said preliminary injunction.
Ruling:
Therefore, the petition should be and is hereby denied, with costs against the petitioner. So ordered.
The Court conclude, therefore, that in an action for divorce brought by the wife against the husband, in which the partition of the conjugal property is also prayed for, the wife may obtain a preliminary injunction against the husband, prohibiting the latter from alienating or encumberring any part of the conjugal property during the pendency of the action. It follows from all of the foregoing that the respondent, the Honorable Antonio Villareal, as Auxiliary Judge sitting in the Court of First Instance of the Province of Iloilo, had jurisdiction to hear and determine the action for divorce instituted in said court by the respondent Narcisa Geopano, and that he did not exceed his power and authority in issuing a preliminary injunction against the defendant, prohibiting him from alienating or encumbering any part of the conjugal property during the pendency of the action

Boats on the Beach at Étretat, Claude Monet, 1885, Art Institute of Chicago: European Painting and Sculpture
By the mid-1880s, Claude Monet had distanced himself from the modern city, seeking landscape subjects in various parts of France instead. The Norman town of Étretat was famous for its cliffs, rock formations, and fashionable summer homes, but Boats on the Beach at Étretat shows none of these familiar sights. Forced indoors by inclement weather, Monet painted this narrow view of the beach from his room in the Hôtel Blanquet, where he stayed from mid-October to mid-December 1885. In a letter to his future wife, he noted that he had spent the afternoon “painting the caloges [disused fishing boats covered with tarred planks and used for storage] in the rain.” Charles H. and Mary F. S. Worcester Collection Size: 66 × 82.3 cm (26 × 32 7/16 in.) Medium: Oil on canvas
