@arcgeminga and I were talking about Manigoldo and haha, omg I swear Manigoldo is like the Pope's espionage or babysitter or Pokémon haha.

Pope Sage: Manigoldo, I need you to babysit Tenma and his friends. Make sure they are okay.

Pope Sage: Manigoldo, I need you to babysit Shion in case my brother does something drastic which I know he will.

Pope Sage: Kardia kidnapped Sasha. They are taking a long time coming back. Manigoldo, I need you to make sure both of them are okay and bring them home. (Get them home quickly so Sisyphus can stop worrying about them.) (This one is only my guess since the audio drama has not come out yet)

Pope Sage: Albafica is going on a mission. Manigoldo, I need you to go with him.

Cancer Manigoldo: Oi, am I just a babysitter here?!

AN HEART TO LOVE THE ROSES AND THE THORNS

It was so quiet, and yet it seemed louder than anything in the world to your eyes. Ever since you arrived at the sanctuary, during your training, you'd felt his presence, without ever really speaking to him. An utterly splendid man, but with sad eyes, so sad. You soon learned who he was. Albafica, the Golden Knight of the piscesYou were made to swear not to go near him, without giving any reason. Why then? Why did this melancholy man seem to condemn himself to being alone? So many questions swirled around in your head, seeking elusive answers.

One hot summer's noon, those hours when the sun shines with passion, the cicadas sing their hearts out and the air is thick with heat, you stopped your training with Regulus. The atmosphere was becoming too suffocating for any physical activity, even for the young prodigy that was the Lion Knight. Sitting with him against the trunk of a tree, enjoying the peace of the shade, didn't seem so bad. Your eyelids grew heavy and you allowed yourself to close your eyes for a moment, resting your head on the young teenager's shoulder. He felt his cheeks burn for a moment before closing his eyes with a childish smile and leaning against you in turn. Lulled by the warmth, he fell asleep.

It was cooler when you opened your eyes, the brilliant blue of the sky having given way to a soft orange, the clouds tinted pink. Something was resting in your lap. A beautiful red rose. Before you could fully comprehend who was the sender of this splendid flower, someone hit you hard on the back of the head. A gasp of pain escaped your lips as you rubbed the sore spot, trying not to wake Regulus. The perpetrator made no attempt to be discreet, laughing loudly at your pain. Despite this, a slight smile grew on your face. Manigoldo was definitely something. "Well let's see..... Did Albafica give you a little present? "exclaimed the Cancer Knight. "It's not like that handsome boy to approach so..... directly. He must really like you! ".

Still rubbing the back of your head, you stared at Manigoldo and muttered: "Well, come on..... stop fooling around....see how you talk about it, it looks like he's not going to see anyone because his blood is poisoned...."

Your eyes met for a brief moment and at the slight hiss the cancer saint let out, you knew you'd touched something. "Isn't that right?! His blood is poisoned and nobody tells me? " . You lunged at Manigoldo, wanting to slap him or simply wipe that smirk off his face, but he stopped you with one hand. "Stop being a brat and listen," he huffed. If we'd told you the truth, you'd have gone right over and hugged him, to test your resistance to the poison. True or false? " These words stopped you in your tracks, for they held a great deal of truth. But you were determined to prove to the Knight of Cancer that you could get close to the magnificent Albafica, poisoned blood or not.

Days had passed since that discussion, and an idea had germinated in your head. Albafica roses suffocated all forms of life, so you had to find a flower that could live without being suffocated by the poison. So you trained a splendid camellia, making it strong and resistant with your cosmos. Then you set off in search of albafica. It was rather difficult to find, because, as a newcomer to the sanctuary, you didn't know where you could be alone. However, a path cluttered with stones led to a cliff overlooking the sanctuary. You had heard that the Saint of Pisces often stayed here. So, camellia in hand, you began your ascent. The path was easy, the birdsong mingling with the dance of the leaves. Finally, you saw him, with his long hair and mole under his eye. When did he make your heart beat so fast?

When Albafica saw you, his first instinct was to move away. "Go away and don't come near me". His voice was dry but seemed to hide so much pain. "I'm not coming near you, I only have a gift for you..... it's a plant that can resist your poison....., "you replied . You placed your gift on the ground and fled quickly, the leather of your sandals clacking on the dusty floor.

You didn't see the shadow in his eyes as he approached the camelia. You didn't see the shiver that ran through him when he felt the flower petals touch his skin. For the first time in years, something had broken through his defenses. You, with your courage and your kindness. For you saw all the roses he threw you, never speaking aloud, but his heart said it all. You saw all the times he got closer to you, when he seemed less cold, more open. And you experienced your long walks together, where your gloved hand sometimes found his.

The naming convention of the three main Cancer Gold Saints are so interesting. Deathmask, Deathtoll and Manigoldo, manigoldo is an Italian word having different meanings like executioner, rascal, scoundrel. Like, yeah perfect names for people who have powers related to death

Veia a Sisifo de Sagitario como un hermano mayor.
