E, F, and L for Nox and Lux???

OH GOOD MY NEW AND SUPER OBVIOUS TWINS 8D I’m doing Nox as male and Lux as female here, though they do swap a lot! they like to be opposites though. plays into the whole ~super obvious dichotomy~

E. paranoias / fears?

Level 1: You know these two already.* You know the cards they hold. Lux fears only the triumph of of darkness! Of injustice, of evil, of blight. But she is more tenacious than fearful, and besides, why need she fear? This is a realm where she can win. Nox fears what the darkness always fears: exposure, truth, and the Light that can never be his. He fears the narrative itself. He fears how it will end.

Level 2: They both fear all necromancy and the darkness (real darkness) that encroaches upon the Cardhouse. All denizens do: they’re not really made to withstand it (you live in an immaculate place long enough, your immune system gets very bad). They both fear the Carmaster. He made them, and could unmake them in a twinkling (also, the Cardmaster is very Weird about Nox in particular).

Level 3: Lux fears change and uncertainty and paradigm shift. She HATES it when the deck is reshuffled. Not so Nox! He fears stagnation, though he’s always a little nervous he might get shuffled back into the less glamorous labs, where he gets very, very bored. Also. Both Nox & Lux harbour a deep paranoia that something might Happen to the other. Nox would attempt a coup before letting anything happen to Lux. Lux would look on unmoving, and resign. (Is that even possible? Does she care?) 

F. jealousy or envy? neither? both?

Lux - jealousy. Don’t touch things that are hers. Just….don’t do it. Bad idea. What is not hers, however, she generally neither wants nor cares for.

Nox - oh both. naturally. More envy though; he’s not nearly so inflexibly jealous as Lux. But he has to like you. And he develops paranoias very easily.

L. which other characters do they like/dislike the most?

Lux & Nox are codependent in the extreme. Their roles make them nominal enemies, but underneath—insofar as they are sentient entities (insofar as any denizen can be)—they’re quite the Ship. They both love the Cardmaster (all denizens do). Nox gets along very well with Jezebel and frequently teams up with her against Logus (whom he loves to hate). Logus and Lux are on pretty good terms, though they do argue a lot (i mean…they’re just both very judgemental personalities, it’s inevitable). Nox quite fancies Alice and is a little disappointed that Jezebel got a hold of her first. Lux does not like any of Jezebel’s stars (she doesn’t take stars often, but wHEN SHE DOES. she’s very picky)

The love keeps coming

No, like, in all honest, most of the replies to my shitpost is just people like it and reblogging it with their opinion added. Idk what there intention is, but gonna take it as somewhat approval.

For those who hated the post. Ehhh, oh well. I have my opinions and u have yours. That’s why I posted my rant. (It’s been siting in my head for a year now) I’m sure it sounded kinda like I as trying to the whole fandom to fuck off (I kinda was), but a small amount of people that found my post somehow believe I’m some kinda “fuckboi” (please spell boy right) and want them to not play D&D. Well of course I want u to play. Just don’t tell me how to play. And don’t lord Matt Mercer over my head like the end all be all. (Because if u read it with an open mind, u could have realized that). I also want them to go learn about other things in the TRPG world, I see it as liking a very specific car. And then going around telling everyone your a carmaster. Some people honestly only know D&D and that’s all they play, if they said they where a D&D master, I would maybe agree (simply because I don’t anyone could be a master.) But the problem with most of the Critical Roll fandom is that they think they are the masters of it all. So come back when u are He-Man.

Don’t worry, this won’t be tagged in your fandom, so u special children don’t need to read something that could hurt feelings, or makes u think about people outside of you fandom. I will tag it with what I think u guys would like me to do?
