With his first feature directorial effort, modern horror master Dario Argento immediately showed off his skill, precision, and artistry. Often looked upon as the rise in popularity for Giallo films, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970) would set the bar for all the pre-slasher killer mystery thrillers for over a decade even giving the father of the subgenre, Mario Bava (The Girl Who Too Much, 1963; Blood and Black Lace, 1964), a run for his money. While Argento adapts many influences into his first of a series of films known as the “Animal Trilogy,” along with The Cat o’ Nine Tails (1971) and Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1971), his film would in turn influence many films for decades to come. Some of those films would be directed by his peers such as Bava and Lucio Fulci. Others who would pay homage would be the likes of Carpenter and de Palma. Jeff, Doc, Bill, and Chad gather to discuss the film, its creators, and its mark on the genre.  

At the time of this writing, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage is available to stream on a multitude of streaming and PPV services including Kanopy, Tubi, Prime Video, and Screambox to name a few.  The film is also available as a Blu-ray and as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray from Arrow Video.

Ed eccoci qui con le ultime anticipazioni di Uominiedonne per questa stagione. Infatti ieri sera a tarda notte ha scelto la tronsita Nicole Santinelli e quindi il programma di Maria de Filippi si è virtualmente concluso.

Veniamo quindi a raccontarvi che cosa è accaduto ieri nel trono Classico di Maria. In primis la tronista Nicole Santinelli ha portato entrambi i corteggiatori in esterna. Prima è uscita con Andrea e gli ha fatto conoscere la sorella tramite una video chiamata, poi sono andati a parlare in un divano e lui si è fatto andate e le ha rubato un bacio. Ma comunque si è trattato unicamente di un bacio a stampo La tronsita va quindi in esterna con il corteggiatore Carlo Mancini che in una lettera le comunica tutte le sue paure, le sue ansietà e come mai da piccolo si era rifugiato nel cibo allontanandosi dagli altri. La tronista gli fa capire che lo capisce e anche fra di loro c'è un bacio. Si arriva quindi alla scelta finale del trono, ma prima la tronista decide di ballare con il padre . Viene chiamato prima Andrea, la tronista gli dice che è il primo che ha baciato e che c'è voluto del tempo a conoscerlo, ma poi l'ha capito, ma nonostante questo non è lui la scelta. Gianni Sperti nota che il tronista prende la non scelta in maniera fredda. Ma la tronista assicura che il fatto è dovuto perchè lui ha un carattere introverso. Si passa quindi a Carlo Mancini, la tronista gli dice che cerca un uomo che la rassicuri e la sostenga nei momenti difficili e che questo uomo è proprio lui. Ovviamente è un si, in particolare lui era molto emozionato si vedeva chiaramente.

Anticipazioni Trono Over Uominiedonne.

Si comincia il programma con Gemma Galgani che litiga con Gabriella in quanto è incoerente e si è baciata con Elio. Nella discussione subentra quindi la dama Carla che addirittura accusa la stessa dama di essersi baciata con tutti. C'è una bella lite fra Tina Cipollari e Elio, la consigliera finge di volere dare a Elio del burro e ricotta di cui lui è intollerante. Alla fine interviene Maria de Filippi a sedare gli animi un pò troppo accesi. Discussione bella accesa anche fra Armando Incarnato e Edo, infatti alla fine devono intervenire gli assistenti per placare i bollenti spiriti. Read the full article
