A Tribute to Catherine Dent.

For those who did not pay attention, in the Mentalist season six opener episode which premiered last Sunday, the cop lady who was in the crime scene arguing with Lisbon has that striking resemblance to Catherine Dent in the TV Show The Shield in which Mrs. Dent played the role Danielle "Danni" Sofer, a police officer and a single woman in a world who understands brutality than beauty.

And needless to add that Mrs. Catherine Dent faced off Patrick Jane during the fourth season’s run of the Mentalist playing the role of the FBI gal Susan Darcy.

I guess Bruno Heller who wrote the season six premiere wanted to pay a tribute to Mrs. Dent. She is so much missed.
