Thoughts on this week’s Chesapeake Shores episode 4.04

Connor was right to break up with Danielle. She was projecting her fear about her family onto his family and it wasn’t fair for her to say that everyone is showing up with their problems. Yes, that is what a family is about. The good, the bad. And I don’t believe that she would ever accept his, no matter how much he or they would try.

I understand why Sarah and Kevin eloped. Megan was driving her crazy with everything, but I’m glad they decided to have a reception there. It’s always nice when the family comes together.

I like Abby and this new guy. They don’t seem to hurry anything up, while Trace’s new relationship - so to call it - seems to be happening only because he realized Abby might be moving on, not because he genuinely liked this girl.

Jess and David are the cutest couple ever. I love their dynamic and how the seem to always figure shit out, even in the hardest of times. And now I’m intrigued to what Bree will do about Simon, if she does anything and how this new Mick and Megan thing will work out. 

I can’t believe there are only 2 more episodes left of this season. And I am not sure that we will get a renewal.

Hallmark Movie Ratings - Update

I thought it’d be fun to see the ranking of the 2022 Hallmark movies that have aired thus far ratings wise. It’s interesting. Ratings have been good overall this year for Hallmark, the network is holding steady and doing slightly better than last year in some cases. Obviously I’ll update this as more movies premiere and at the end of certain movie blocks. It’s all in good fun.
