The robot flew swiftly back to the base after that.
As soon as it was docked, everyone disengaged from it as now they had other things to be concerned over.
Ren wasn't waking up. Jinmay had realized it when on the flight back, as he laid on the floor of the torso tank cockpit, he hadn't moved at all. He would groan in pain but that was about it.
"Is he… gonna be okay?" Jinmay asked as she and Chiro helped him out of the robot.
Her brother had always been a constant in her life… and apparently, from what she realized tonight, even after her life.
The memories that flowed into her mind replayed like a reel of film. When she looked at her brother's unconscious face, she saw many things.
She saw the strong jawline their father had, she saw the dark purple hair that her mother had been known for. They always used to joke that Jinmay was more of a carbon copy of her mother, looks wise, while Ren was his father's son through and through…
She also saw the fear he had when she used herself to shield him.
"REN LOOK OUT-!"
Her heart raced but it didn't have time to worry. She tried to shake her head free of those thoughts.
"He's gonna live. I promise." Chiro told her, trying to give her a reassuring smile.
He was exhausted, his body screaming for rest but that could wait.
The monkeys were hurrying out already as well.
Ren being as tall as he was, was difficult for the teens to hold up as they dragged him out of the mecha.
Antauri frowned, hurrying over.
"Here, allow me please. Otto, Gibson! Get a stretcher!"
"We're already on it!" Otto called over his shoulder.
Antauri lifted a hand up, levitating Ren off of the two teens and onto the awaiting hovering stretcher that Gibson and Otto had pulled over.
As soon as he was laid on it, they hurried off with him to an elevator nearby designed to fit it.
"W-Where are they taking him?" Jinmay asked, her heart skipping a beat. "L-Let me go with-"
"They're going to make sure he's alright." Antauri assured her, giving her a reassuring look. "I'm sorry you had to go through all of this tonight, Jinmay."
Her eyes welled up a little.
If you asked her, that was the understatement of the year.
"Yeah… me too…" She wrapped her arms around herself, closing her eyes tightly. "Why are you still helping him? He screwed up so badly… Why are you helping us?" Her voice cracked. "For all you guys knew, I could've been helping him…"
"Because…"
Antauri tilted her chin up, looking into her eyes as he floated to her level.
"We're here to help. Not to judge… Even if someone wronged us, if that person needs help, we will still help them. That is our way." He gave her a gentle look. "You're only thirteen. It's hardly fair to judge you for the mistakes of an adult… especially after all you've endured. You're only a child."
"I… but I…"
Jinmay's eyes trembled as the hot tears stung her eyes.
It had been too much. Too much to bear in one evening for her.
Chiro brought his arms around her, bringing her in close to him.
"Shh…"
Jinmay cried out as she sobbed, hugging the boy tightly. Her hands dug into his uniform, gripping the fabric as she buried her face into his shoulder.
Chiro tightened his embrace, resting his head against hers.
"It's okay to cry." He told her softly. "It's okay… Let it out."

I got bored and felt that I needed some quick art motivation before I was stuck with writing based work (Profiles for Hunter Butterfly and course work). I then saw @theblacksunking's new Replica character Jayleen and I was like "Hey, lets make a quick Replica OC!"
So here she is, this is Nia who managed to leave her old life behind and create her own identity. The person who took her in to be their daughter is known as Dr Zupan, a woman who could never have children of her own. She did lose the memory of her original name and Replica number due to damage but she is generally uncaring about it as she wants to distance herself from her origins as much as possible. She has a drastic design change to create her own idenity although there were some aspects she couldn't control such as her scars and robotic abilities. In terms of robotic abilities, she is very limited in comparison to Jinmay and the other Replicas since it was a very risky procedure to restoring her but she has leaned to compensate with martial arts skills and her own weapons.
Personality wise she is a very likeable character. Despite her rough past, she is very outgoing and has very chill vibe to her, Nia has a habit of being forwards when around people she likes and can get very protective of those she has grown attached to. She is far more clever than what she gives herself create for since her habit is to act friendly but keeps a cautious head around new people to see if they truly friends or if they are secretly foes. She is very emotionally vulnerable but is reluctant to talk about it since she hates the idea of burdening people with her problems, this is mainly seen about her past being the topic as Nia can be uncharacteristically angry as she doesn't want anything to do with it.
Relationship wise she became close to her adopted mother very quickly and sees her as more of a parental figure than Scrapperton and Maezono, the bridge between her and Scrapperton is something that really needs to be fixed but she doesn't want to. Her and Chiro's relationship is very much a big sister-little brother relationship, she's always been surrounded by girls/sister so for her it was nice to have a brother/a male family figure instead. The two are very similar so they would naturally get along. Nia's relation with the monkeys is very positive, they get along and she easily meshes with them as she has at least two things in common with them to easily hang out at anytime. Nia is sadly uncomfortable around Jinmay because of her origins as a Replica, she doesn't want to be compared to the original despite her hiding her past really well. Nia knows that Jinmay is an ally and intends to keep it that way. She shares the same enemies as the Hyperforce team despite not being involved with them that long, any evil is an evil that needs to be stopped.
A part of her design and character/personality were based on Binjay because I thought she was cool.
I really enjoyed creating her and I might use her for something else, of course rewriting her so that she isn't a Replica. I'll use her for a different series for 'Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!' but I'm not sure, at most it will probbaly be art to better explore her character.

Once upon a time, in Shuggazoom City, lived a pair of siblings who loved each other very much. The boy had a magical destiny—he was to become the blade that would shatter the darkness that threatened to destroy the universe. And the girl would become the shield to guard him, to protect him from everything the universe could throw at them.
As Chiro went along his hero’s journey, Amber found herself getting wrapped up in the middle of all the Hyperforce’s troubles. Amber’s story became the story of two siblings, five cyborg monkeys, a robot girl, and a super robot —a team, a family bonded in love and light, that would stand tall against the forces of darkness.
(Or, it’s basically a show rewrite from the POV of Chiro’s sister!)
[link in reblog]
If you like OC’s, sibling shenanigans, monkey team shenanigans, Chiro getting the love and affection he deserves, and/or canon from a slightly different perspective, you’ll probably like this fic and this AU! It’s been in the works for about 5 years now, and I’m now getting around to editing and rewriting it to make it as amazing as possible. I’m planning on having this fic cover the entirety of the show, so Amber’s got a lot ahead of her!

I drew Pyrrha’s parents in my rewrite AU of RWBY. This is Peleus and Thetis Nikos.
Peleus is a famous Huntsman from Mistral who was quite a hero in his youth. He trained under a horse Faunus named Chiro, who was a well known hero in his own right. Peleus made his name travelling in a group of Huntsman and Huntresses based on the Argonauts, and became so well known for his ability to single handedly fight off hordes of Grimm that he was even hired by the Queen of Mistral to do jobs.
Thetis was a well known swimmer and gold medalist in the Remnant equivalent of the Olympics. She was infamously difficult to date so when the great Huntsman Peleus attempted to flirt with her she played hard to get to see if he would keep trying. It took a while but with help from his teacher Chiro Peleus finally convinced Thetis to date him. She graduated from university in Mistral with a degree in business, which she put to use while managing Pyrrha.
(more about them under the cut)
Peleus and Thetis both adore Pyrrha. They had only the best teachers for Pyrrha in both academics and fighting. Peleus had his old teacher Chiro train Pyrrha the same way he was trained, and Pyrrha displayed a great talent for fighting. Peleus and Thetis act as Pyrrha’s managers, dealing with her sponsors, her agent, her legal team, and the finances. While Peleus was excited about Pyrrha’s choice to become a Huntress Thetis wasn’t so sure because of the dangers the job comes with. She ultimately relented and let Pyrrha attend Beacon. That doesn’t stop her from worrying about Pyrrha, though.
They rub shoulders with the elites of the world, including the Schnees, the Mistral Royal Family, and Dr. Isaac Polendina, to name a few. There are few rich people in Remnant that the Nikos family are not acquainted with. Both Peleus and Thetis have gotten a bit out of touch with the average person since Pyrrha’s career took off and they became one of the richest families in Remnant, but Pyrrha is always going to be their little girl and they always look out for her best interests, which includes keeping away people who’d like to leech off of Pyrrha or paparazzi who hound her. Pyrrha learned her morals from her parents and thinks the world of both of them.
