Style fun!! Decided to draw my sister's SRMTHG OC, Mila, in a more canon style. XD Honestly I had a ton of fun. Always a good exercise to do something different. Either way, Mila looks hecking cute.

You asked for Mila and Otto shopping and drinking boba together and of course I asked if I could include Amber - so naturally the two sisters went and took Otto on a little shopping spree bc he deserves it XD I had a really fun time drawing this, I ADORE Mila's outfit and Amber's dress is so cute!

"Nothing works... I don't know what I'm doing wrong... Whatever I do, no one wants to give me a chance."

"I'm sorry... This is all my fault."

"Hey, remember that Mila?" "We were pretty young... Not a lot of experience."

"Are you... really us? Do we get it right? Eventually?"

"Eventually, you're writing is gonna open up doors, even you won't be able to comprehend. Keep shooting for the stars... I promise, it'll work out one day."

"Melody too?" "Yeah, we get her right too. I promise... That story you wanna tell, is gonna happen one day. Just practice."

So, I've been kind of in a massive state of burnout and remembering some... really messed up stuff, due to the current burnout. I got bullied a lot as a kid, fandom was no exception.... and a lot of recent stuff, has just made me remember some really bad stuff.

I had to kinda remind myself, who I was writing for... and it hit me all over again.

This, is who I write for... Specifically, this is who I write Hyper Force: ReIgnition for.

Not for the fandom.

Not for approval.

I'm doing it for that girl.

That scared kid who just wanted to make stories and not get made fun of all the time.

All the things I work on now, is for her.

Eki on Vroid

After seeing some character related stuff being created on Vroid, I decided to give it a go by using Eki.

Here's the child! I had to improve in some areas to get close to her original design as possible. It was difficult to apply the markings but I got there.

I then experimented with poses and expressions as I thought about Eki's interactions with @hyperforcereignition's Mila. In my little thing, Eki meets a confused Mila who got separated from her Hyperforce and landed in the universe of 'Hunted Butterfly'.

"H-Hello Miss Hanamura... I-I am Ekita but I-I prefer being called E-Eki..."- Eki doing a respectful bow as a greeting. Since Mila is an adult, Eki will automatically call her 'Miss Hanamura'.

"You're... Chiro's older sister? But... He told me... That he was an only child! And he said his last name is Takashi!"- When Mila reveals her relations to Chiro, Eki is puzzled as it clashes with what she knows (And the personal lore of Hunted Butterfly). Due to Eki's upbringing, she's not fully aware of the idea of alternate realities so understandably she's confused.

"You got hurt by Antauri's attack?! It was an accident, right?! Are you ok?!"- Eki learning about the events in Chapter 11 of Hyperforce: ReIgnited. Eki is naturally worried as she knows Antauri to be very calculated and is worried about Mila herself as she knows Antauri is very strong so no doubt injured Mila.

"Chiro! Skyper! Over here!"- Eki calling over her Chiro and Skyper while her and Mila are walking around the city. Mila would be confused by Skyper since at first glance people mistake Skyper for Antauri and she would be confused as to why 'Antauri' is acting like a child and being carried by Chiro.

"You work too hard Miss Mila.... I'm sure Chiro appreciates what you do for him..."- The two girls somehow start talking about responsibilities which Eki gives her own form of reassurance that Mila's Chiro appreciates what she does. This is also when Eki would start to call Mila by her name although by calling her 'Miss Mila' first.

"Chrome, put the sword away."- Maybe Mila encounters Chrome who's a bit on edge for personal reasons, going so far as to aim the 'Dark Reaper' at Mila. Eki isn't usually one for confrontation but at this point, Eki is a lot more confident than what she used to so she'll defend Mila from the mercenary monkey.

"You guys work too hard, why not take a break?"- Sweet side of Eki showing and making her Hyperforce team weak, Mila will no doubt take note of this.

Random music playing in the Super Robot and Eki is enjoying it, Mila may enjoy it if its her taste (Not sure what kind of music she likes). Skyper would join Eki's little fun as well since he likes the same thing as Eki.

"Bang or flash, the claws are out!"- This is when things take an interesting turn when Eki reveals she is bionic with Ghost Claws as her weapons while also revealing that Antauri has been teaching her. No doubt Mila's protective comes out and Eki overwhelmed as she's never seen a female human get so protective, after all the poor girl doesn't know her own mother....

"That's a good one!"- Originally, her Sparx told a joke and Eki laughed then Mila jokingly called him 'Goose' which made Eki laugh more as Mila would have told her about the nickname. Her Sparx would be so confused.

That's all for now as they were the only prompts I could think of. If I get more prompts, I'll do more!

Secret Santa gift for @hyperforcereignition! Prompt was "Mila and Chiro trying to decorate a gingerbread house - trying being the key word."

I can't tell what my favorite part of this is: the photo-realistic example photo, the sad decorations on the house, or Mila's and Chiro's faces in the third panel XD. I worked really hard on this and I'm so happy that you loved it so much!!!

So remember back on my post for Chiro I said I had one more to finish before ReIgnition came out? Yeah sometimes I have poor time management skills. XD This was supposed to be done last month but better late than never I suppose.

Finally we have the lovely Mila! Chiro’s big sister and legal guardian who was 100% not prepared for her brother to bring home cybernetically enhanced monkeys. She’s adjusting at least... Not happily but she’s adjusting. 

And with that the main cast is complete in the bio department. I still have others I need to draw but that’ll be for another post.

Later that evening, Jinmay arrived back at the base, exhausted. While her body was enhanced it still screamed at her for rest with every single step she took.

She had decided to take care of several things today since, as far as she knew, Ren was still unconscious and for the sake of her mental health she needed to get out of the base for a while.

The base's door slid open for her as she stepped inside.

School, lacrosse practice and going back to the Ryokan to fill in the staff had all been difficult to get through. Her mind wandered all day and she wasn't even sure what to say…

How do you explain, "My brother turned into a 55 foot skeleton and almost squashed the city but the Hyper Force defeated him." to a teacher or the staff?

She had said he was ill and in the hospital to her teachers and coach. That wasn't entirely wrong or a lie she figured since he was recovering from the injuries he had before.

To the Ryokan staff though, she had been honest.

That had been scary, admittedly. Putting on her yukata, doing her makeup all while exhausted from lacrosse practice and calling a staff meeting.

Standing before all the adults, trying to carry herself like one.

Her heart wouldn't stop racing in her chest. Everyone was looking at her for answers of why they had both been absent.

Jinmay wrung her hands together, before taking a deep breath, narrowing her eyes into a stern look.

"My brother was a victim of a Skeleton King attack and he was possessed. Ren was under this control for months and he is now recovering with the Hyper Force at their base."

"What?!"

"Is he alright?"

"He will be but right now he's unconscious and I'll be returning there until I can bring him home. Until then, all problems will be brought to Ginji. He's in charge while the masters of the Ryokan are gone. Understood?"

"Yes, Lady Jinmay!"

She let out a sigh as the orange transport tube dropped her off at the main floor, for once not trying to jettison her out of it. She noted the redone paint and nodded to herself.

Otto must have been busy today.

As she walked out, she jumped when Chiro's voice called out to her.

"Jinmay!"

Jinmay yelped in surprise when Chiro bolted right to her and nearly knocked her over as he hugged her.

"Missed you!"

"UWAH!" She yelped, hugging him. "Missed you too! What'd I do for this?"

"Oh… A lot." _________________

Happy Birthday Reignition! Today, last year, Hyper force: ReIgnition was posted... and man, I'm honestly touched and shocked at the reception it's gotten... Not gonna lie, it still feels surreal to be writing this fict.

This chapter marks the end of the Reaper arc! WE'RE GETTIN OUTTA THE CITADEL OF BONE WITH THIS ONE BOYS!

Today is March 3rd which is Mila Hanamura's birthday!

Mila, prefers to keep home and relax on her birthday. She's never been one for big parties, that was more so her friends kinda thing. Her ideal birthday is lots of food, especially her favorites like hot pot and oden, cake... and a marathon of horror movies and video games. Especially replaying The Last of Us and Resident Evil. She and Chiro will make the whole evening dedicated to it.

"First concert, since we technically broke up... How's that feel?" "Excited to get back to OUR normal... C'mon, one for the road!"

"What's on you're mind?"

"I don't know if I can do this... It's been ages..."

"Mii... Relax, sis. You know, you can do this."

"I'll try."

"I can see it... Go. We'll be cheering you on."

"Thanks, Ichi."

He never hated his phone more than at that moment.

It was pressed up against his ear so tightly that the heat from the internal battery was right up against it.

The team was quiet, concerned as they watched him pace up and down the command center. The moment he had been allowed to leave the Med Bay, he grabbed it to call Mila.

"I should've done it." Sparx whispered to Nova as they watched Chiro walk by them, once more. "I was just so worried I-'

"It's not your fault." Nova whispered back. "Who could've predicted this?"

Chiro closed his eyes, listening to the ringing.

This wasn't normal.

"You got Mila!" Her voice cheerfully called out as the phone went to voicemail. "Sorry if you missed me, leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!"

He let out a frustrated growl as he pulled the phone away, hanging up before dialing again.

This wasn't right.

His heart sank with each ring.

"Maybe her phone is dead?" Otto suggested. "She might've forgotten to charge it."

Chiro shook his head.

"No, that never happens. She hasn't forgotten to charge it in seven years…" His voice cracked a little. "Mila, please, just pick it up…"

His breath hitched in his throat.

Was this what he put her through?

His heart sank as he thought back to that first night.

How she was crying, running through the outskirts, looking for him.

The way she looked at him like he might disappear again.

I'm so sorry…

I'm so sorry, Mila…

Please, just pick up the phone…

Please…

"Please…" He pleaded. "Please…"

"You got Mila-!"

Chiro let out a frustrated yell, throwing his phone towards the wall opposite to him.

This chapter, was genuinely a joy to write when I did. Normally combat is one of my weakest things to write, but I feel like this fict really pushed me to get back to something that I struggled with.

It was really fun getting to write these guys in a proper fight.
