-Synopsis-

“Bouida Haruto, a hardcore otaku with no interest in 3D (real) women, once appreciated figures from afar, accepting that “if you get into them, there’s no turning back.” However, when Nona, a character he loved from an anime called “Girls→Planetary Investigation” had a figure of her released, he ended up purchasing it. And then that night, the figure of Nona somehow came to life, and a couple-like lifestyle between man and toy began.”

Annunciata la serie anime di “Choukadou Girl 1/6″

Il manga di Öyster è stato raccolto in quattro volumi e ha già ispirato un sequel.

Il primo volume di “Choukadou Girls” (Over Drive Girls) è stato pubblicato con in allegato una fascetta che annuncia la prossima produzione di una serie tv anime tratta dall’originale “Choukadou Girl 1/6 - Amazing Stranger” (Over Drive Girl 1/6), manga sempre scritto e disegnato da Öyster.

Haruto Boida è un otaku al quale interessano solo le ragazze in 2D. Un giorno acquista una action figure in scala 1/6 di Nohna, un personaggio del suo anime preferito e, con grande sorpresa, il mattino dopo scopre che la ragazza ha preso vita!  Così inizia la loro strana convivenza.

Öyster ha lanciato l’opera nel 2012 e Futabasha l’ha raccolta e pubblicata in quattro volumi. Il sequel viene serializzato online dal 2017 e a partire dal 25 settembre inizierà ad essere pubblicato anche sulla rivista Monthly Action.

Chou Kadou Girl ⅙ is the story of a man whose first line is “I have no interest in 3D women!” and his figurine thatwants to be a real girl.  Which would all be sad enough even if that line wasn’t the start of an unfunny monologue that lasted for about a third of the show and ended with him trying to strip her.
