If there's ever a place to find all of your high-quality home and apparel needs in Konoha, it's the Makoto Department Store. Founded and managed by Mr. Isshin Makoto, it is Konoha's premier outlet for all the new trends at top quality.

The foundation of the department store is the executive department. They are responsible for ensuring that the store runs like a well-oiled machine. Store manager and founder Isshin Makoto oversees all of the stores operations and has the final say in every decision. He is cutthroat, demanding, and strict. Assistant manager Chousuke Makoto is Isshin's son, and he is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations and ensuring that everyone is doing their part. He is diligent and loyal. Isshin's daughter Shoki Makoto works as the store's secretary, managing correspondences and payroll with deft organization and a great attention to detail. Human resources is handled by Isshin's wife, Chukaisuru Makoto, who is responsible for workplace relations and hiring new staff. She is empathetic but also disciplinary, like a mother.

The executive department also includes the department managers, who oversee each section of the store. The women's apparel department is run by Mitsukoshi Makoto, who is fashionable and stoic and precise. The men's apparel department is run by Tatsuya Makoto, who is clean-cut and refined. Lila Makoto is in charge of the accessories department, which she manages with a creative eye and great attention to detail. Cosmetics is run by Sayoko Makoto, who is elegant and demanding. Junji Makoto is in charge of the shoe departments; he is slow-moving but kind and humorous. The children's department is run by the bright-eyed and optimistic Minako Makoto, and the home department is run by the warm and friendly Genryu Makoto.

If the executive department is the foundation of the store, the support department is the blood that flows through the day-to-day to operations. Customer service is handled by Tsubasa Makoto, who is helpful and accomodating. Tomoya Makoto handles the cash responsibilities with duty and a financial mind. Hae Aburame is associated with flies and, much like a fly on the wall, he works camera security; he is scrutinous, just, and detail-oriented. Hae works closely with Toan Makoto, who works sales floor security; he is brusque, buff, and lawful. Dock does all the heavy lifting like moving fixtures, unpacking new merchandise that gets delivered to the store, and processing the aforementioned merchandise. Dock is worked by a group of capable young men: the high-integrity Masajiro, honest Masanao, sensitive Masamitsu, and sarcastic Masayuki. And last but not least, the janitorial staff works hard to keep the store clean and presentable. It is made up of the pure and dutiful Jun Yamamoto and the rough and tomboyish Kitenai Senrensareta. Young and enthusiastic Rina Yamamoto is a jack of all trades in the support department, helping out wherever she is needed.

In connection with the support department is the visual management department. These are the employees responsible for following merchandising protocol and window dressing. They are the forefront of advertising for the store and must ensure each department looks presentable. Kuso Makoto is the head visual manager, ensuring that the store overall is clean, easily navigable, and flows nicely. He is strict, organized, and authoritative. Tamashimado Yamamoto is responsible for window dressing in the store. She is unsure of herself but very creative and loves theater and dioramas. The women's apparel visual manager is the ultra-femme Mejika Makoto. The men's apparel visual manager is the ultra-masculine Oshika Makoto. Gaudy Hade Yamamoto is in charge of the accessories visual management. Beautiful Hina Yamamoto is in charge of cosmetics visual management. The shoe visual manager is the picky and fast-walking Taeru Makoto. Young and temperamental, the children's department visual manager is Mijuku Makoto. The home department visual manager is the strict, maternal, old-fashioned Tama Makoto.

Each department on the sales floor is in turn divided into different sections, all of which have their own sales specialist.

The women's apparel department is likely the biggest and broadest of all of the departments. Contemporary fashions are run by the trendy and youthful Mie Makoto. Juniors fashions are handled by the flamboyant Kakki Honzon. Her elegant sister, Yugana Honzon, in turn, specializes in the more formal dress section. More traditional fashions are handled by the reserved Taikai Makoto. Plus sizes are specialized by confident Tsuyoi Makoto, and petites are taken care of upbeat Tsuneko Makoto. Katsuryoku Yamamoto handles the athletic and swimwear sections with energy and perhaps a slightly-too-high volume. Lingerie is handled both by the daring and flirtatious Mune Makoto and the alluring and seductive Hadagi Makoto.

Contrastingly, the men's apparel department has much less variety but no less colorful a cast of employees. The majority of the department is handled by the collections specialist, the fashionable and friendly Yuuta Makoto. Men's streetwear is handled by edgy Ru Yamamoto, while suits and traditional wear are taken care of by the formal Kozue Yamamoto. The Makoto Department Store is proud to provide a Big and Tall section for their male shoppers, as well, run by gentle giant Takeo Yamamoto. And not far away, the men's fragrance counter is managed by the stinkbug-using prankster Kosui Aburame. The sharp and demanding Miranda Kawakubo is in charge of alterations, considered a men's department position despite servicing all clothing departments, and the denim department is handled by kind and casual Jina Senrensareta.

The accessories department is small but mighty. Handbags are offered by preppy collector Hayaharu Yamamoto. Sunglasses are managed by the cool and calm Akisame Yamamoto. Jewelry is taken care of by both the ditsy and distracted Wakakusa Yamamoto and the cold and calculated Yukigumo Yamamoto. Lastly, hats are taken care of by jack of all trades Tomo Yamamoto.

The cosmetics department aims to make everyone feel their prettiest. Hair products and styling is run by the dramatic and glamorous Miryoku Senrensareta. Makeup is taken care of by artistic Bi Senrensareta. Women's fragrance is managed by the alluring Kazaru Senrensareta.

The shoe departments are split up between men's, women's, and children's. The men's shoe department is handled by absentminded Oyashio Makoto. Women's shoes are managed by the charming Chikuma Makoto. Energetic Tone Makoto handles children's shoes.

The children's department is a popular spot for many young kids to find the perfect outfit for their first day at the academy or their first school dance. For little boys, the rambunctious Kero Yamamoto is a great help. For little girls, dainty Keri Yamamoto will help her find the perfect dress. Maternal Kare Yamamoto is the perfect saleswoman for help in finding outfits for little ones, in the infants' section.

Last but not least, the home fashions department has everything one could need to make their house the perfect home. Bedding is handled by snarky bed-bug user Uga Aburame. Strong and empathetic, Tanjiro Yamamoto handles all of your furniture needs. Wistful Kisetsu Yamamoto always helps customers find something to celebrate in the seasonal section. Daiji Yamamoto's hospitality truly benefits her in the dinnerware section of the department. The ever-evolving electronics department is handled by fast-paced Ritsu Yamamoto. While the department store does not focus heavily on foodstuffs, their small assortment of edible goods is managed by outspoken Riki Yamamoto.

All in all, the Makoto Department Store rivals all of the smaller business in Konoha with their great service, vast variety of merchandise, and high quality. The store has made many a rival in the village, including but not limited to the Kawakubo Kimono Shop and Pretty Cure Beauty Salon.

Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter Anime Unveils Character Trailer and July 5 Television Premiere

The official social media account for the anime adaptation of Riku Nanano and illustrator cura's light novel series "Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter" (Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi) released a character promotional video on Sunday showcasing Allen, voiced by Yūto Uemura.
