i use he/they, im non binary and use omnisexual though still question if that's right

main points are im shorter than chuuya lmao, im an artist, i read alot and write poetry, im vv big on music (need to listen to not often), i struggle with anxiety/social anxiety and feelings of depersonalization and derealization, though despite that i can be loud and hyper if/when im comfortable/in the right mood

here's a few chuuya headcanons for you:

this is kind of out of nowhere, but i imagined you meeting chuuya at a bookstore, actually! you know the kind with a cafe attached to it where you can read? maybe you were perusing some books and maybe chuuya was genuinely there for books too or waiting for a mafia transaction to take place. either way, you two are regulars at the same bookstore and you end up becoming close friends.

chuuya takes it slow with you- whether that's with your friendship or romance. he's used to being intimidating to people, especially being a port mafia executive, so he takes your social anxiety as just a general fear of him. don't get him wrong, if you explain it to him he will be very understanding about it, but for the longest time he will have high guards just to make sure you are comfortable around him at first. he wants to be close to you first and foremost! and being scary isn't going to do him any favors.

the first time he saw you let loose and get a little loud and hyper, chuuya was absolutely shocked. not in a bad way, but he was absolutely delighted that there was a side of you like that as well! he's got a fiery personality hiding behind all his, well, "etiquette", and to know that he can let loose with you on occasion when you're comfortable is something he will absolutely love learning.

chuuya is surprisingly very aware of when you slip into derealization/depersonalization. he doesn't tend to be one that gets others easily, but he can at least tell when you're acting "off." and he will panic about it at first. the first time, he didn't know what to do and nearly just wheeled you to a private clinic the port mafia takes care of. luckily, with a little conversation with him about the issue, he'll get better at handling it and helping you out! it will take time, but if you grant him your patience, he'll make a great ally.

this is kind of rude of him, but he discovered your poetry by accident. you hadn't told him directly about it- just that you wrote- and one day he was rifling through drawers to find something he'd left behind the last time when he found the papers holding your poetry. he was so flustered! he read a few and deeply regretted reading it without your permission, but he will also have no idea how to approach you about it to apologize. you'll have to confront him directly what's bothering for him to admit it lol.

however, however! once you let him into your artistic little world, whatever kind of other arts you may dabble in, he is your avid patron! he'll watch, listen, observe, read- literally name it, he loves basking in the things you create and being able to enjoy it with you. of course he also acknowledges that this takes a lot of trust from you and he makes sure you know how much it means to him that you're sharing this with him.

just a vibe i get, but related to the art side of you, i feel like you're someone he likes to brag about. not that there are a lot of people he can actively brag to- he doesn't really like sharing anything too personal with his underlings, so it's really just kouyou, mori, you know those- but when he gets absolutely shitfaced he just won't stop talking about you. "god, he's just- he's the best, you know?" he'll start, and then ramble about your art, and maybe he'll even switch up your pronouns, "and he- they- fuck, i just love them." he knows how much it took for you to gain trust in him and for the anxiety to wane away and he's making the most out of it, you bet. also lots of nicknames revolving both your art and your height- "my little artist" is a favorite of his because he feels like it just explains how much he just wants to put you in his pocket and carry you everywhere.

shorter than chuuya means chuuya insists coming shopping with you. books? arts supplies? even just groceries? no, you have no problem reaching the shelves. but no, he's still the one grabbing them for you, daintily putting it in the shopping basket.

i feel like chuuya's a really good match for you because he'll be able to pull you out of your shell while being able to protect you from whatever that may harm you! he's also a very big art connoisseur so he'll love what you do and you'll have lots to talk about art.
