I don't agree with Sarah vine. I think we all need to take a step back and think about it. It used to be a sort of duo QEII and the heir PoW and his heirs but PoW was the one with a sort of distinctive court. Everyone is acting as if Charles had been only BP before, no he had @clarencehouse and used it to highlight his own work. And it's fine, he needed to highlight his work to be recognized as a heir and that's what the Wales are doing too. They're mixing that with the need to be visible for the younger population. Their videos was about them yes but about the UK and the symbolism of the coronation. The Queen is not there anymore, Charles is, his work will be highlighted but he needs strong and present heirs and that's the Wales, the rest of the family is also a support act and they're seen, less but still there.

Charles and Camilla were at eurovision a couple weeks ago and it was fine, we were all happy. Kate is doing it and to support Ukraine and now she's doing a Hollywood? There's a balance and I think the Wales are doing it well. We're just not used to it now

I agree it’s a change that will take some getting used to. Part of the problem is that the most recent videos were super glam. If you see it in the context of other videos like the anniversary video and the scuba video in the Bahamas then it doesn’t feel so Hollywood.

I personally feel they have to do it because there’s so much competitive content coming out of Hollywood. I’m not referring to the Harkles’ pathetic efforts, but to stuff like The Crown and Spencer. That’s going to keep coming and they need to counteract that.

But it’s going to be a tricky road to navigate because the public is not used to it, and the tabloids feel threatened and are going to fight them every step of the way.

Una segunda carta fue emitida por la dependencia que encabeza Alejandra Fraustro Guerrero, esta vez dirigida a la empresa Clarenhouse para pronunciarse en contra de la apropiación cultural indebida de elementos y característicos de la cultura de dichos pueblos otomíes. Los elementos fueron copiados de las figuras recortadas en papel amate que los artesanos hacen de los dioses de cada uno de sus cultivos, los cuales se muestran en la línea de productos de vinil estampado en la colección Michelle Nussbaumer de Clarencehouse. Se explica que los artesanos poblanos elaboran con la corteza de un árbol endémico de la región, llamado jonote, el papel amate, con el cual elaboran figuras recortadas de los dioses de cada uno de los cultivos que siembran como parte de su sustento. Entre estos productos se encuentran el maíz, chile, tomate, cebolla, cacahuate, café, plátano, guayaba, calabaza, entre otros, los cuales, antes de iniciar la siempre realizan rituales solicitando buenas cosechas. Tal como acusó en la misiva dirigida a Shein el pasado viernes, por apropiarse indebidamente de elementos de los textiles de artesanos de San Gabriel Chilac, en esta nueva pugna por preservar, difundir y promover el patrimonio tangible e intangible del país, acusa a Clarencehouse de afectar económicamente a los artesanos de la región y de atentar contra sus credencias. “Este diseño que ustedes están distribuyendo como papel vinil estampado con ‘diseño étnico’, no solo afecta económicamente a cientos de familias que se dedican a esta actividad, al no tener competitividad con marcas industriales. Además de los daños económicos hay daños morales y ceremoniales, ya que atenta contra las creencias, símbolos e identidad de un pueblo indígena”, subraya. Además de expresar inconformidad por la apropiación indebida, en la carta se solicita se “explique públicamente con qué fundamentos privatiza una expresión cultural tradicional de propiedad colectiva, haciendo uso de elementos culturales cuyo origen está plenamente documentado”, señaló en un comunicado la dependencia federal.
