This week, we're being cheerful and looking at the adorable Torrance Shipman and Cliff Pantone, from the iconic Bring It On.
Join Zama as she breaks down why Cliff was a breath of fresh air, how he supports all her ambitions, why the chemistry between them was so memorable, and why this branch of sports movies deserves more respect. We take this episode straight to regionals with a franchise specific Who's Your Fave battle. Remember to vote and cheer on your faves.

In no particular order, 10 characters I identify with:
1 & 2: Missy and Cliff Pantone Bring It On | 3. Mia Thermopolis The Princess Diaries | 4. Cher Horrowitz Clueless | 5. Cassandra Promising Young Woman | 6. Lizzie Bennet Pride & Prejudice | 7. Kat Stratford 10 Things I Hate About You | 8. Mercutio Romeo & Juliet | 9. Simon Eriksson Young Royals | 10. Jo March Little Women
Jesse Bradford as Cliff Pantone in Bring It On (2000). Jesse was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, and has 55 acting credits from 1984 at the age of five, to 2022. His entry among my best 1,001 movies is King of the Hill.
His other notable credits include Presumed Innocent, Hackers, Romeo and Juliet, nine episodes of The West Wing, Happy Endings, Flags of our Fathers, and 17 episodes of Shooter.
Every single time without fail when cliff pantone makes his entrance and they pan up from his shoes I just always think it's Missy. I block out the existence of cliff at all times unless he's literally right in front of me
