In this clip, we have Leila Malcal, a kind person who doesn’t like violence and sees it as a last resort; who loves her friends and wishes to protect them, willing to sacrifice anything, even her own life, to do so; and has special powers (that stayed dormant until she activated it).

And she is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto (Aerith’s Japanese VA).

And then we have Akito Hyuga, a soldier with a cold and calm demeanor, may be mentally unstable, as he is shown to enjoy battle to the point of blood lust, but has a softer persona and care for his comrades.

Not gonna lie, they remind me of someone.

I’m talking about pre-Nibelheim!Sephiroth, not the current one.

Also, Akito didn’t venture on the dark path unlike Sephiroth. At the end, he and Leila end up together.

As I watched it again, I noticed some similarities between the characters. Or maybe I’m just being delulu. 🤷

Code geass headcanon

Okay this one is based on how lelouch would be like to his s/o (male or female) because why not?

Lelouch would:

Be the hopeless romantic in any situation

IS NOT A TOUGH GUY. He's actually pretty sensitive amd fragile.

Would try to serenade his s/o and fail miserably because he's too embarrassed not because he's a bad singer but because he doesn't do it often and seems to be out of his calm and put off character.

Is a perfectionist and wants everything organized. So he'd plan out dates. He'd be the perfect manager.

Is protective of his s/o and if anyone where to flirt with them he'd either look intimidating like he will fight the person or would act like a snarky sassy bitch and brag about how he is all up in it.

He's doesn't dance that much in the club. However in private parties with friend and family he doesnt care so its all fair game.

He definitely gets easily embarrassed when his s/o compliments him.

He secretly writes poems and dances to himself when hearing a love song in his mind while thinking about them. (He's extremely giddy lowkey)

When he gets mad he doesn't scream nor shout. He just gets really petty and passive agressive.

He apologizes in an honest way though. He doesn't by flowers or candy because he thinks that leads to manipulation and he already does enough of that to do it to someone dear to him.

I just finished rewatching Code Geass as well as the Code Geass: Akito OVA. And lemme tell you. You can say whatever the fuck you want about the Akito OVAs but THAT ENDING. Like all of them are done fighting and just chill with those nice grandmas travelling from place to place in these trailer wagon thingies. Helping each other out. Having no worries. Dancing and singing around a campfire by night. From outside you wouldn't suspect that this cheerful band of travellers are a bunch of hard-core grandmas that could fuck you up. A teenage comander that stood against brittania and WON and ACTUALLY didn't die AND GOT together with her crush. Her team actually went along as well. WGERE DO I FIND PEOPLE ARE ON THAT LEVEL OF RIDE OR DIE JESUS.Then we have the murder machine who survived in the most impossible ods. A maverick dude with loyalty issues. An explosive suicidal teen with lots of issues WHO GREW BEYOND HIS HATE FOR HUMANITY AND ACTUALLY LEARNED TO LOVE AND APPRECIATE HIS FRIENDS. Then another teen who only wanted a place for herself and her friends and had to fight for it and they have it now. And last but not least a brittanian royal who was betrayed numerous times got fed up with it and took revenge. His fellow knights joined him as well and the all live happily ever after. LIKE YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT IF THAT AINT GOALS RIGHT THERE.

Watching Code Geass: Aikoto the exiled (Spoiler)

First episode: Who is that? What is this place? Who is fighting who? WHAT is going on here? Who is Aikoto?

Second episode: The order of what? The house of....? Is that a fight? Great!

Third episode: Suzaku and Lelouch appearance. OMG. Cool.

Fourth episode: Same Old Lelouch. *drools*

Fifth episode: Hmm hey look Lelouch and a happy ending (kind of).
