This is a VERY clear example of coercive control. He was working, had plans to meet a friend and business partner for dinner and he had to fly or drive back from LA to Vegas because she needed help. She has two parents who practically if not definitely live there. Not to mention all the women who take care of kids on their own daily. This is how she exerts control over his life. Nick isn’t the only man this happens to by far but he is a more visible profile to show the examples of toxic female behavior.
